At the same price, the hotel found in the center of Melbourne will be much newer than this. This hotel is too old... It feels like an old house for decades. The quilt given in the winter is too thin and not worth the price.

It's a motel. The location is relatively good, in the center of the city, it is quite convenient to eat and travel around. Hotel facilities are average and sanitary conditions are average. There is parking lot. The breakfast was good.

Please note that the only reason we booked accommodation at this facility was because everything else within 2 km of the town centre was booked out as a result of an event happening that weekend. On entering the foyer there was no one at reception. When I buzzed reception to come down a woman by the name of Kylie was so rude and aggressive which was uninviting. On entering our rooms we were confronted with a musty mouldy smell, taps that look like they had been leaking for some time due to the rust stains and before we even turned the tap on the water was so hot because it had been dripping for a long period of time. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and all the timber was in need of being replaced.  We can’t stress enough for people to stay away from this place and to avoid being put in the situation where someone’s aggressive towards you for no reason at all. The rooms were so overpriced for the condition they were in. you only have to look at the condition of the pond with the dead fish in it at the in the foyer to get a better idea of what you’re gonna be face with when you open the door of your room.  It’s obvious that those that give a good review must be friends of those that run the hotel without any exaggeration this place was so disgusting that we will never go there ever again and unfortunately this is the experience we take away with us from our visit to Ballarat.  This is a minus rating for us, unfortunately we had to give it a rating 1 so that we could warn others of our bad experience. Unfortunately we had to pay in advance $234 per night to be subdued with all of the above.

The most  horrible place I’ve ever stayed in. Spent I night in this mouldy original 1971 below par room. Broken shower door  and no soap in the room and a mouldy sneeze to match. When I complained to the owner Kylie I got nothing  but attitude from her. She even had the nerve to enter our room without our permission after 11.00 pm  to see to our complaint. We were not there at the time thank god. But questioned her why she would enter our room without our permission. Her response was even more pathetic than the room. She said my room and I’ll do as I please. As far as I know Kylie you have to notify people first before you enter their room not yours as we are paying for it not you.  The next morning when we checked out all hell broke lose at reception. Kylie told us to get out and never come back. Well Kylie rest assure we will never come back and hopefully people who read this review never visit you.
