Hotel was cosy and clean. Minor wear and tears in the bathroom as it's an old hotel. It has a mini zoo for kids. Swimming pool is rather small, can get quite packed over the weekends. Service was good, iron and hair dryer are avIlable upon request. Breakfast buffet consisted of mainly traditional Indonesian food. Good spread of choices.

Overall the hotel was great, nice buffet and clean hotel at best location. Only problem was the windows were too poorly built that the traffic noice from the road had disturbed us all the night. If the windows could be repaired or replaced with sound proof quality, it would be perfect. Anyhow, we moved to other room with no noise but a poor view and small size room for the other 2 nights.

This hotel is very nice! The staff are very kind and treat me & my wife as well as their loved ones. Especially, the bell boy. He is so kind and well trained personal butler alike. Too bad, every staff didn't have name tag. Well, thank you so much for the warming welcome!. Hotel design, atmosphere, furniture, are so on point with their concept. Definitely, one of my favorite hotels in Bandung. But, it would be more lovely and lively if breakfast are well, a little bit more French, or have one or two French-style breakfast. Not only all Indonesia cuisine. And last but not least, if only every broken or aged furniture such as wall and ceiling could be fixed, it would be more enjoyable...

The hotel is not far from the exit of the stone plantation, and it's on the business road, a bit bumpy, the same way, but it's easy to find. To Transtudio Bandung is also not far away, just the cycle of the road is a bit tight because there are two columns in one direction, but leading the same direction. Hotel condition is good, service is ok, staff are friendly. The room is a bit narrow for the twin, the bathroom is also very small. But the room condition is clean, there is a power hose (coffee and tea), room slippers, and safe. Clear TV channel, many channels, cold AC, bathroom exhaust on continuously. The room wall is a bit dirty too. For food, they say in some good reviews, but they're average, the menu is less varied, the chicken roast, the chicken stew is adequate, for the buffet food is fast to run out and refill a bit long, there are also cookies, bread, nuts, omelet, waffle, cereal, and juice drinks. The pool was really small, and when there the water was very green, I don't know why, the staff said it was because it was hot in the sun (can't ya??). For children above 5th, breakfast is charged 80rb (but the children can eat a lot, huh??!! It's a shame if that's true, anyway, in the hotel policy on the application there is no such rules. Jd, I feel a little bit of being damaged too (my kid is newly 8th and doesn't eat much)). The second day I was still sitting there, the food was getting less varied, for bread, the first day there was butter, the second day there was only butter. So please fix the menu, the facilities are clean for the pool and the hotel policy must be listed for a clear explanation for the customers.

we had a great experience staying at el royal . all the crews were so nice and helpful . The breakfast was amazing too . The parking are spacious . Our room also comfortable too. This is our 2nd time staying here . Will comeback here for sure.

What a great place to stay. The hotel is located nearby malls and street food location. When we arrived the welcoming was super. The professionalism of the employees behind the desk was suburb . The next contact we made was with Erwin, we were exploring the hotel and when he saw us he gives us a good impression what the hotel us could bring, sending us to the roof top bar to see the city. The next employee Deman, He is the bartender at the pool. Super friendly and helpful. He arranged our drinks and food and always with a smile. (Thanks for the green morning drinks) Thanks Demon and Erwin for your help. Last but not least I want to thank the Iswan. Every morning we met him with a big smile at the breakfast. He provided us with information about the city. So we could make a program for the day. Great support and many thanks for your help and sandwich and drink when we left by car. For all who will read this, when you visit Bandung please book you room in this hotel. I have been in so many hotels in whole Indonesia but this hotel is in my top three. The location is not too busy area, surrounded with government officers and quite a green area and not too noisy. There is Matahari Mall at the back of the hotel and nearby mosque and church. Its is so convenient to jog or morning walk. To go tourist point is easy. The breakfast is varieties and tasteful. The lift a bit congested since during my stay, there were Wedding expo in the hotel hall.
