Bangkok Ratchathewi 3-star Hotels

The hotel is my preferred location for my stays in Bangkok, I find it very conveniently located for travel to and from the Airport and it has many shopping options nearby. The highlight of the stay has been always the staff as there are quite a few hotels in the vicinity and maybe more modern in setup, but it the staff of this hotel that makes me speak so highly about the hotel. To name a few who were exceptionally good in their service are: Mr. Damrong who assisted us with the overall stay arrangements and looking into the minor details of it to make it a very comfortable stay. Mr. Subhajit Ganguly who not only was very friendly and efficient with his work at the Front desk also went beyond the call of his duty and assisted us with making a few calls and inquiries with few shops to help us buy some specific items. This may be a simple thing to do but as you understand the absence of this assistance would have led to spending few additional hours in the market and facing the communication barrier in describing the product we had to buy. Overall this has proved to be a great choice to stay with a fantastic room (executive suite) that I had booked and its view from the 41st floor was superb. Congratulations team for providing yet another fantastic stay, I will be back soon...

The room was tidy. The location is quiet as it's off the main roads, though you can hear the trains at the local station. The area was good, as we could walk to the popular areas plus the train station was very close for access to the airport and other attractions. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Restaurant is adequate, but there are also ample food carts along the main road. Internet speed was good.

Overall environment is great, strategic location to most of the major attractions in Bangkok. Easy access to public transportations. A lot of convenient stores around here. Close access to food and also a small night market. What is lacking is the Internet / WiFi, needs more improvement on this area especially for those are whom need access to work. Would be better if the hot shower can be consistent rather than going cold out of the sudden and comes back warm / hot. Overall comfort rate 3/5

The staff spoke good english and were friendly however we encountered a problem with the lock on our room and couldn’t enter, it took a few times talking to the receptionist to send a technician up to replace the lock battery. It was clean enough and had all the basic amenities included.

My travel agency booked us an accommodation at My Hotel Pratunam. Without researching reviews about the Hotel, it was a nice surprise.. Advantages: 1. FREE Wifi!!! 2. Location, almost at the center of Bargain stores 3. Accommodating and friendly staff 4. Food are good enough 5. Very Filipino vibes 6. CHEAP!! Disadvantages 1. very narrow walkway going to the rooms 2. very noisy outside the room 3. Food served on breakfast is the same daily 4. no swimming pool 5. very basic amenities to none In summary, if you have are frugal and has a limited budget for a vacation. This Hotel is perfect.

We returned to Bangkok and decided to give a try to this 6 month new hotel. It's price was SGD$73 per night for a deluxe king but room sizes are similar even in the deluxe queen or deluxe double rooms. Front desk service is good and polite. And they provide free flow white bread and cappuccino in the lobby. But if you drank up the 2 bottles of water provided, the hotel sells bottled water at 10 bahts. The hotel is only 15 minutes walk to Pratunam but you'd need to cross 2 busy streets and a rail road just follow the locals and raise your hand to wave at the driver before crossing the road. Ratchprarop airport rail is also 5 minutes walk from the hotel and connects conveniently to the rest of the rail network. Food wasn't a problem as a 10 minute walk we arrive at Rangnam road where we visited the Famous Kuam Seafood restaurant as well as the variety of eateries, as well as shopping delights at King Power duty free and Century Mall at Victory monument. But if you are a light sleeper then this hotel isn't for you. Thin walls was a problem and others people chatting can be heard quite abit. Thin windows and lack of soundproofing also let in all the motor cycle and motor vehicle noises into the late night and very early mornings. The rooms do not have any wardrobe too so there were no extra pillows to sandwich myself for each of the 5 nights I stayed. I regretted paying up for my entire stay when I arrived because as early as my first night, the city noises bothered me. I would recommend the hotel because it's clean, new and friendly service. And they acknowledge that the way the hotel was oriented meant that no room was quieter nor noisier than another. If walking to the train station or Rangnam road for food is your plan then please remember to raise your hand and make eye contact with the driver before crossing safely.

Great location as just next to the metro station . The room clean but I felt a little too dark for me especially the toilet. Should have a better lighting . When I booked the room for a night I got a free ticket for BTS day trip . I decided to extend my stay so booked another day with separate booking and the just gave me one ticket instead of 2 said as per stay . I felt cheated on this part .. other all good . Will I come back to the hotel ? I guess I will search for a better deal with this price . Just my opinion .

Exceptional service from the hotel staff! Hotel location is near to phaya thai station which is good for taking bts to and fro suvarnabhumi airport. It is also an interchange for the green line, making it accessible to popular destinations like siam and central world. Hotel was very clean and i LOVE the toilet, aircon was very strong too but note that there is no ironing board provided. Overall i feel that the location could be improved but i had a very happy stay at a super affordable price and i felt that the hotel was definitely worth more than 3 stars.

The best thing about this hotel is the very central location: It is just a few minutes walk from Ratchaprarop station which takes you to Suvarnabhumi airport and connects you with the BTS. Its also located at the back of the Baiyoke Skye Hotel and the local Night Markets with plenty of great places to eat. The bad thing is to reach this hotel you need to walk along either a dingy lane (which is locked by a gate at around 8PM) or through a smelly tunnel at the back of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Neither are very pleasant options. On checking into this hotel you will be asked to provide a 1000 baht deposit in cash (even though they also have your credit card details). The staff speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size, clean but very dated. They are in need of refurbishment and renovation. The airconditioner is very noisy and the ventilation is poor. However considering the price this hotel is a good budget option. The breakfast buffet is simple (bread, chicken, soup, rice, sausages etc.), more suited to Asian tastes but filling. It is the same breakfast spread everyday.

Very comfortable hotel in town,date,but under repair,friendly and available staff,clean rooms,air conditioning work even though a little noisy,for the price this structure has for me is excellent. No European breakfast,so no hot milk or coffee cornets
