Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok

Chidlom Bangkok|0.65km from Thai Labor Museum
Location: On the the doorstep (literally) of a serene and pulse-reducing (literally) health centre, but only a short tuk tuk ride from shopping, bars, and the vibrancy of Bangkok central. Building: Recently renovated, it makes the most of an older architectural style by embracing the large open atrium spaces to the extent the fitout somehow manages to feel cosy and lush. (Particularly the Bittersweet lobby bar.) Amenity: Excellent gym. Pool area would be good if the high rise overlooking it was not currently under noisy and dusty construction. It will be finished… soon everyone must hope? Staff: 10 out of 10. The team representing the hotel is an asset. FOH, concierges and room attendees delivered a faultless stay — to a five star hotel level of service. In food and beverage, Wat, Jay and Nok elevated the offering. Despite the hotel being relatively quiet during the evenings, each of them made our holiday a pleasure with a professional (but suitably casual) approach to hosting. The cocktails were excellent, the food tasty and delivered with a smile and good conversation. The team’s personal interaction reflected their commitment to hospitality. Our spa experience matched the reviews of others on trip advisor. Well worth the price and better than a lot of other hotels. Outstanding trained therapists delivering treatments in a clean, soothing environment. The temperature controlled massage tables, generous volume of relaxing music and quality mood lighting during the massage is a step above many spas we’ve frequented. Zoe, Narm, Lah and Mea are a dream team. Overall, we spent over a month in Thailand at many hotel, and our time here was as good as any, thanks in large part to the quality and genuine hospitality of the staff. Recommended, and will return.

This is the worst hospitality I have ever seen in my life. Ramada a brand is diluting the entire concept. The rooms are shabby we had room city view it is the worst room ever I have stayed considering a big brand. Attitude of the staff is terrible and they don’t even know ah to the hospitality. 1 st may I came for the breakfast at 10.10 Am. At the entry manager he may be is standing wearing white shirt and from the entry he is showing closed very rudely I said let me just a cup of tea he said no it is closed and I took one pice of croissant and one pice of brioche he came to me and warned tomorrow I want you to come before 10 Am. Showing his fingers and it seemed he will slap me now: is this the hospitality. We are Indians but we have our own pride and the travel agent have cheated us. Gesture is very very bad. Ramada please if you want to keep your name change the team who is spoiling your brand image do some training and also do the interior. But if you can’t do the interior please at least change the staff or train the staff: I am only talking about restaurant incharge who doesn’t understand English at all and he may hit the customer if he or she is late: please. His name is Viras. He has to be removed may be today or counselled as soon as possible. He is not fit to be a RM. You will be loosing on the good client. Sorry but they have spoiled my entire trip today. I stayed here for 4 night and 5 days with 7 rooms I got them all to enjoy a success party but I became unclsuccesful today with the Ramada Hospitality. Worst and bad hospitality.

Pros: Silent / lot of shopping options below and around the hotel / good breakfast/ comfortable bed. Cons: Front staff not guest friendly/ some rooms have bad smell/ intercom & master control do not work. All the cons can be fixed if you inform the front desk; sound from the next room flushing the toilet keeps you awake. Check the room for bad smell, master control and AC condition before you occupy it, they will help you out of you report. Lights are not enough in room and especially in toilet to shave but can manage. Value for what you pay; also remember- most of what you save will be spent on taxi or tuk tuk to commute to main areas of Bangkok. I stayed with family and we took 04 rooms for 03 nights, we did Chiang Mai and Phuket and on the way back to Bangkok we took another hotel just because of the location;. Again, this hotel is worth what you pay.

The hotel is in a convenient location. Room was decent The biggest problem is the attitude of the staff. When I was trying to check in, the person at the desk was outright rude and behaved as if she was doing us a huge favour by giving us the room. They asked for a deposit amount of $100 or ₹4000 in cash We had to carry our luggage to the room. There was no help available Checkout process was equally bad I also, saw people at the front desk speaking to other guests If you are a self respecting person, you can avoid this place

The breakfast was good and there were many varieties. The hotel is very far from Markshan Station and not far from Rochapinli station. It takes about 6-7 minutes to walk. However, check-in is only possible after 14:00. The hotel has strict control.

The location is accessible. Near the Makkasan Station, Shopping mall and the streets were full of Spas. If you have something that needs to be photocopied, they have that service as well. They have money exchanges too. Only thing that didn't work for me is there TV, only found one channel, call and ask for assistance if you need, but in my case, I didn't watch TV since I'm out most of the time and come back at night for rest. It's cheap and affordable.
