I came to Baoding to run a marathon. I stayed in this store for three days. It was clean and bright. It felt like home. There was a living room, kitchen, washing machine and bathroom. It was very clean. I ran a full-seater shuttle bus and returned here. I checked out in the morning. The owner knew that I was running a marathon. I will tolerate my clothes in his house. Of course, people who often go out to run horses also know that they will put them on the sofa in the living room and don’t affect others to continue to book rooms. The boss also asked me to come back and take a shower, so that the service is clean and intimate. The country’s runners come to Baoding to run horses. Just live in his house and you can rest assured that it is not far from the shuttle bus and not far from the starting point. The price of his house is not expensive and will not increase the price because of the competition. Although I didn't meet the boss, I thank Baoding people for it. The hotel is great. It's just a little far from downtown. I don't know Baoding, so it was too far from the city centre for me. The room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. No English available, but that was no surprise. The staff were very friendly though. They helped as much as they could given the language difficulties. A very nice hotel overall. I didn't get the chance to check the hotel facilities, but my room was great. If you are travelling, most places close reasonably early. So if you are looking for something to eat later than 8 o'clock, it will be a mission. Enjoy your stay.

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but actually nice for China-travellers. The staff is very caring, everything is clean and worth the price. What I liked most (maybe not everyone) is the hard mattress, very good sleep. Breakfast was ok, location central - all good. Point to be improved is Wi-Fi, but apart of that all fine.
