My balcony room overlooked the valley and my room was spacious and clean! The bed was super luxurious! Had an amazing sleep – the stars were out and it was so quiet. The sunrise from the 7th floor is breathtaking. The hotel used to be a lot larger and so the property is expansive – I would recommend going for a walk down to the lake. Although many of the buildings are not in use (I feel Covid hit this region hard) – it’s a beautiful and peaceful walk and you won’t see another soul! The grounds are maintained so there really is a beautiful mix of flora and fauna to adore. I didn’t take a dip in the pool myself but it’s big! Breakfast was okay – a simple Chinese buffet. Although it’s a little older I think the price, the friendliness and the location more than make up for this. The night stay also includes a ticket to visit the park which is a three minute drive away – they can arrange a car to bringyou or you can just drive yourself easily.
