Amazing
TTuixiuyubeirenyuanThis hotel boasts an excellent location, right across from Hakata Station (Chikushi Exit). It's connected to Hankyu Department Store and AMU PLAZA, and there are tons of drugstores, yakiniku restaurants, and ramen shops nearby. What I loved most were the abundance of brunch coffee shops! It's only two stops to Tenjin and two stops to the airport. There's also an airport shuttle bus (310 JPY, cashless payment only) directly across from the hotel. The cleanliness and staff service were absolutely fantastic!

KKeweisishidakaiThe location is fantastic! I really enjoyed the mall located right downstairs. It has a three-story Chanel store and many trendy Japanese brands, perfect for leisurely browsing. There's also a general store on B1 where I spent at least an hour, and still felt like I could have stayed longer.

BBee Hong OngI love this hotel as it's very convenient, near to Hakata Station, shopping area where you can buy everything under one roof. Hotel is clean, staff very friendly, and it comes with free coffee, free soba, free flow of wine and sake. Laundry at level 5 is convenient with free clothing compress that helps me so much when packing my luggage. Easy transport to and fro airport and hotel. Good breakfast with many choices but expensive when rooms without breakfast anyway I enjoyed my stay with Oriental Hotel and will recommend it to friends travelling to Fukuoka.

SSoft_tacoPros: The rooms were very clean and spacious, with well-controlled temperature. The public bath on the tenth floor was warm and clean, and the outdoor bath was also very comfortable. The staff were polite and offered complimentary drinks. The breakfast was excellent, with very fresh and delicious sashimi! Cons: We went to the nearby shopping mall recommended by the hotel at 9:15 pm to have dinner, but due to the New Year, none of the shops were open. The food court, which was supposed to have a last order at 9:30 pm, was also closed, and even the vending machines were not operating. We returned to the hotel and searched several floors but couldn't find any snacks (such as instant noodles or chocolates). The hotel's vending machines only had drinks, and we couldn't find a way to order takeout in our room (the Japanese instructions were incomprehensible). We ended up going hungry all night. I suggest the hotel provide food options in the evenings on special occasions. Other: The hotel is suitable for drivers and offers free parking.

GGuest UserGood: Nice and spacious room, free parking good for us to drive around, powerful shower head which served strong stream and stable temperature for nice shower, big beds, convenient shops, food and big AEON store nearby with driving distance 5 mins, nice night lounge with free flow crafted beer, popcorn, and bbq marshmallow, my daughter requested to go every night But if you’re not coming with a car, it’s sorta inconvenient

JJessie SoonHotel is located on streets with many famous eateries and shops amongst local and foreign tourists. Tenjin Minami station on Nanakuma Line is 5-6 mins away on foot. Travelled in 3 pax and coincidentally on the weekend where there was a bunch concert and live shows happening in the city so hotel rate was extra expensive (normal weekend is alr very expensive).. Found this hotel within our budget and can fit 3 pax. Sofa bed was kinda comfortable but not the pillow. More used to firmer latex ones while the one they provided is either polyester or microfiber filled so it was very very very soft! Room was tight when the 3 of us opened our luggage. Shower has good water pressure. There’s also public bath on site. They provide in room water purifier machine too.

MMarie AjaiThis hotel was pretty entertaining, check in would have been a breeze if we booked only one room. the check in is seamless, all automated while the velociraptors look at you. we needed some assistance since both rooms were under one name and the system cannot accept one name for both rooms. the attendant was promptly notified by the check in machine itself and we received assistance quickly. as with most Japanese hotels now, most of the amenities were by the check in counter, robes and razors. The towels and toothbrush were in the room. Ground floor is where you have breakfast - it is self service and the staff refills it. i think this is pretty decent for a meal - no frills... since one would go out to enjoy the japanese cuisine anyway instead of filling up too much on breakfast. the drink bar is very helpful. ice, water, soda and juices. there are snacks in the afternoon and at night, they have a selection of alcohol and popcorn. this is very convenient. The rooms were surprisingly spacious - we got a twin room and we could open two medium sized luggage and one small hand carry for packing easily. the bath, toilet and sink were all separate which made it very convenient. Some rooms had decor, unfortunately we didnt get one of the special rooms. you can see its special since the door would have decor on it. they replace the towels and trash bags daily unless you place the do not disturb sign. Check out is extremely easy. Unless you charged anything to the room, you use the same ATM looking machine to feed it all your dispensed room keys and then youre all checked out. I do recommend this hotel - its pretty convenient with all the items needed (no skin care or bath bombs though). Would stay here again when i get the chance. Its definitely a different experience!

GGuest UserSummary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one. Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep. Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay.
