TOC Hostel Barcelona Reviews

I stayed in this hostel for three nights, the location is very ideal with metro stations and bus stops nearby. They have a nice lounge and an outdoor pool area, great for social! The only inconvenience would be that there’s no curtain for the capsules, especially when it’s a mixed dorm, having the privacy of curtains would be nicer. Comfortable experience overall!

I recently stayed in a bed space at TOC Hostel in Barcelona, and unfortunately, my experience was not very comfortable. The pillow provided was quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the electric socket near my bed was not working, which was inconvenient for charging devices. Another issue was the noise level. Both during the night and throughout the day, the environment was quite loud, making it hard to rest properly. It doesn’t feel like a suitable place for anyone who is sensitive to noise or values a quiet atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend this hostel, especially for those who have trouble sleeping in noisy environments.

Great location, and having a kitchen is super convenient, but remember to bring your own padlock 🔒. It's an okay place to stay, really good value for the price, perfect for just crashing after a long day of sightseeing. No curtains though, that's definitely something they could improve.

Lots of Chinese guests, haha, it felt like staying in a dormitory, but everyone was very quiet. The location is really good and just a few miles away.

I have to commend the front desk staff for patiently helping me switch rooms. I forgot to ask for her name, but she was very patient and moved me to a mixed-gender room. Otherwise, I would have been incredibly embarrassed staying in a room with only women. I know working in the hotel industry isn't easy, and meeting guest demands can be tough. However, the service quality of some individual staff members definitely needs improvement.

The front desk was very helpful. There was no language barrier thanks to the AI-assisted tools available, and the receptionists were exceptionally friendly.

Pretty good! The bathroom and bedroom are separate, which really helps reduce disturbances when getting ready. My only minor complaint is that the door in my room could use some oiling – it creaks quite a bit every time it opens or closes, which is a bit unsettling! Overall, I'm very satisfied; it's the best hostel I've stayed at in Europe.

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around; it's within walking distance to the subway station and major attractions. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The front desk service was professional and efficient, with smooth communication. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for short trips or business travel. I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

The hostel is so luxurious and clean, We loved the ambiance so much, the staff were so kind and patient with us, they were so welcoming and helpful, I love it 😻

The central location was the highlight of the hostel just outside the bustop to the airport and the underground. Classic modern decorations and I liked the separation of the toilet and the bath. The bed was comfortable for a sleep. The kitchen could use a bit more utensils as there wasn't enough during busier times

The room was spotless, and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. They even have a pool table in the common area, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially for solo travelers. It's excellent value for money.
