The room is large and clean. Location is good, many restaurants and pubs nearby. Lobby has free drinks and snacks once in a while.

Great location, large rooms, a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Breakfast is not worth it.

The room is very big, the soundproofing is surprisingly good, the transportation is also very convenient, and most importantly, there are 3 beds, which is very comfortable overall. I highly recommend it.

The room is large with a balcony but the facilities are a bit old. Bathing in the toilet is a bit uncomfortable and there are bugs in it. The location is okay. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the attractions. There is a supermarket downstairs. The front desk staff are very friendly and polite.

Hotel decorated in a very modern and cozy way at the same time, unbeatable location! The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and with a terrace. A 10!

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location and the fact that the room is larger than many I’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, that’s where the good points end. The room was dirty, the couch had cigarette burns, and the floor was extremely worn and scratched. The bathroom was in terrible condition—there was rust in the bathtub, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the dispensers for shower gel and toiletries were empty. After I checked out, I had several issues and called multiple times to request an invoice. None of the staff could communicate in English properly, which made the situation even more frustrating. These issues are absolutely not acceptable for a 4-star hotel, especially given the high price they charge. I visit Barcelona frequently for business, but I will never stay at this hotel again. Avoid this place if you're expecting quality service and a well-maintained room.

The hotel didn’t give us the room we had paid for. I had paid for a suite for 4 nights and I paid in advance. We arrived and were told the room would not be ready till 3 pm. We had tickets for the sagrada familia and couldn’t be here at 3 pm. I confirmed with the person on duty that we had booked a suite and I wanted a high floor. He confirmed that we would get our suite on the 5th floor. When we came back at 10 pm, very tired, the girl at the front desk, Brenda said they only had a suite on the first floor that was really noisy - even Brenda agreed it was noisy. She finally gave us an executive suite, which is a lower tariff than a suite. We didnt unpack our luggage. Next morning the person at the front desk was rude and said he had not promised us the 5th floor and made no attempt to assist - on the contrary he was uncooperative and impolite. If we wished to change it would only be available after 3 pm. We were in Barcelona to see the city not keep waiting for the hotel to give us a room. When we returned at 4 pm, Brenda was on duty and said her manager was in a meeting and wouldn’t take my call, or speak to me or help me. I was advised that there was no suite available again ! I tried calling the Guitart hotel customer service 6 times and got no reply. No assistance from Brenda. No assistance from the manager. Impolite response from the man at the desk. Still stuck in an executive room having paid nearly 250 euros more for the suite. They neither want to give me a suite nor refund the difference in the room tariff. Don’t ever stay at Guitart Grand passage. They don’t even want to give you drinking water bottles. The worst customer service ever.
