Minimalist and dark room. Large clean and comfortable bathroom, with a large shower but with a ”mini” sink, especially when compared to the large size of the bathroom itself. Comfortable bed but with an annoying squeak every time you turn over or sit down. Good cleaning. I can't say about the air conditioning, because we didn't use it. There is no breakfast but this is not a problem because there are two excellent bars in via Argiro, right next to the structure. In the center and therefore in an excellent position for visiting the city, new and old. However, I found the quality/price ratio good and I would say that I would go back.

Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

It’s a clean and well organised place with high ceiling rooms that are pretty inviting. Check in works via a link and requires a mobile internet connection for the first check in. That works well if you have a SIM card with internet access if not, then you should plan for it. We had a two room apartment for three people. The smaller room was a walk through to get to the bathroom. The bathroom looks newly renovated and was clean. The door is foldable though and very thin. The kitchen us shared with others and has some basic utensils (not for big cooking). The location is quite and rather central. So you get to the old part of town in ca 10 minutes and the central train station in 15 minutes.

I warmly recommend Zodiacus Residence. Everything was very good. Starting from the fact that the location is excellent, right in the middle of the city, close to all the city's attractions. Restaurants, bars, cafes, all are a stone's throw from the location. The rooms, which have a vintage atmosphere, are very clean. The staff deals with this aspect on a daily basis. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast. There you will find an electric stove, a small electric oven, a refrigerator and everything else you need. I traveled with two families who had children aged 9 and 12. It was also very useful for them to be able to prepare a breakfast for them. Our host was very kind. She helped us with any information we requested. We will gladly return to Zodiacus Residence.

We found this baby accidentally I have to say we found very good. That kind boy who answered us at the phone and then welcomed us at our arrival. Extremely spacious room is very clean. Super breakfast made in the bar under Jerome with cappuccino and scream flirts 😋. Also very comfortable because the conventional parking 2 minutes walk is perfect. It will be our first choice when we come back to Bari. The only advice I give to the property is to have an additional eye on the maintenance and use of things in the room but really simple things. Really enjoyed my experience at the Olive Tree in comparison to the other hostels I have visited in Italy. The staff are really friendly and helpful with knowledge on day-trips away from Bari and how to use the public transportation to get to a location. What I found really nice is that the would talk you through what each place was like, rather than refering to a QR code which other hostels now seem to prefer. Beds, bathroom and kitchen was clean - and there was also a lovely terrace outside. Good location to access public transport as well as getting into Old and New Town.

We needed a hotel near the airport. We had just arrived from the US and had all the documents regarding Covid available from the US including barcodes from the CDC. We arrived at 8 PM, and the clerk at the front desk denied us the room because she said we did not have an Italian green pass. The Italian barcode readers do not sync with the CDC barcodes. She told us that we had to go back to the airport, or a pharmacy to get a rapid test. She told us that this was the policy of the hotel. We were very upset and worried about our entire trip. In any case, all the pharmacies were closed, and we returned to the airport, and €70 later (40 for the tests, and 30 for the taxis) we came back to the hotel and she provided a room. After all that, the room was fairly mediocre, the bed uncomfortable, although the breakfast was OK. I do not recommend this hotel. We discovered later on that a test is not equivalent to a green pass. The staff at other hotels, realize that Americans do not have a green pass, and accepted documentation regarding vaccination status.

Chose this hotel because we were flying into Bari and picking up our rental car at Bari airport for our Puglia road trip. I didn't want to drive into a city and wanted someplace easy and convenient to get to. The Hotel Barion fit the bill. Very easy to get to from the airport and a great view. Rooms were nice and clean, felt safe the whole time. The staff were all great. Had dinner at the restaurant after we arrived and even though there was a large tour group that was dining at the same time the service and food were very good. The breakfast on the top floor in the morning was wonderful.....view and food. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

GGuest UserYes, some reviews state that this hotel is a bit away from the city center and you need a car. Dont even think about it because you will be spending a huge amount of time finding a parking space in the center...and you probably wont. Taxi is 10 euro to the old city and by the way...taxifare from airport is fixed....25 euro. Now about the Nicolaus Hotel. Top class service and smiling people everywhere and in every department, from professional and fast check in, really funny guys serving in the bar and proff behaviour in the spa,- which by the way is really nice. Breakfirst is in a totally different leaugue than you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Waiters everywhere to take your order (included) on everything you may not find in the buffet. Breakfirst is a real 6 star experience. We even asked to check out 2 hours later just to make it comply with our taxi to the airport and of course no problem. Thank you very much to everyone at The Niclaus Hotel....there are places 1-2 hours away from Bari that we didnt make this time around so I expect us to be back shortly.

The hotel offers good accommodation, large bedroom equipped with a fridge ( water is free) and a good size shower. The bedding is of good quality. There are 2 pillows( one soft, one firm) I appreciated that. There is a large screen TV. The view over the city is nice. The place is very clean. The only draw back is the lack of packing shelves etc… Breakfast is great. Nice choice of food and excellent coffee. The restaurant is open at night only. The buffet has a range of greens, veges etc… lovely. The service was always friendly. If you don’t have a car, town is at a distance and you will have to take a taxi.

GGuest UserMagnificent location on the hinge between old town and new area. The hotel is also very central, close to shops, restaurants, train station ... And it is also very close to the bus stop to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and acceptable size. The bathroom offers fair services and is clean. Breakfast does not include a large buffet but the necessary thing to start the day: hot or cold drink (the worst thing is that the juices are not natural), yoghourts, some fruit, some sausages, bread, crepes, magnificent croissants and something of hot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 100% recommendable.

MMehmetBooked two deluxe rooms (one for single pax and the other for two pax) but was given two rooms of different sizes instead - not very impressed to say the least! Room decor has seen its better days to be honest! Plastic tables and chairs in the room for a 4-star property are pure cheapskates! Air conditioning still hasn’t been switched back on in late April when temperature already reaching low 20 Celsius! Had to stay and sleep in the room with window shut because of noisy disco noises nearby lasting beyond 2 am in the wee hours of Sunday morning ! Got ‘roasted and baked’ in the room with no ventilation as a result - not very ideal when covid is still raging! Still couldn’t understand why the hotel still insists on ‘no self-service’ for buffet breakfast - apparently in the name of covid! ‘Accidentally’ tried to pick up some breakfast items by myself on arrival as there was no sign on display stating the not-so-obvious ‘no self-service’ policy but was told off by one of 2 staff members on duty with plate being ‘snatched’ from my hands! The paradox being this practice caused long queue with only 2 staff members available to pick and dish out items for guests! Long queue and mass gathering of guests would not spread covid but picking up your own food with disinfected hands would apparently! Few ironic observations made though! The two specific staff members on food picking duty didn’t wear gloves at all when picking food with thongs for guests - is that even covid-safe??? One of the two members on that specific food picking duty went on to pick food for guests after clearing and cleaning up table with bare hands and then went over to do their food picking duty for other guests without washing or disinfecting their hands - covid safe I fear not??? If insisting on ‘no self-service’ policy, make sure you have sufficient staff to handle constant stream of guests coming in for breakfast! I was certainly being put off by either long queue or absent staff to help pick the food I wanted!

MMALIVery nice hotel, right by the sea. The room has a small balcony to see the sea blowing, very comfortable. Breakfast is on the sixth floor and it is also an unrivalled sea view. About ten minutes walk around, it is the central location of the local area. There are shopping malls, restaurants and bars, which is very lively. Take a taxi to the train station 8 euros.

GGuest UserGreat hotel in the heart of Bari. The train station is one step away from where you can travel anywhere. The staff is kind and helpful. The room is cultured, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great although we only had breakfast. I don't give 5 points for one reason. The air conditioner in the room is very cold, it cannot be setup, we switched it to warmer and after a few seconds it returned to the original temperature. The location of the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. This massive city center with all its peculiarities. Like dirt, dog excrement on the street, graffiti and suspicious figures. However, the transport is very good from here to wherever you go.

GGuest UserBellissimo B&B davvero a due passi dal mare ed immerso nel verde. Gestore davvero attento, cortese e super disponibile a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Le stanze sono silenziose, pulitissime, perfette, dotate sia di condizionatore che di semplice ventilatore, il bagno grande e completo di tutto l’occorrente. Colazione ottima ed abbondante. Stupendo il cortile/giardino con la possibilità di sedersi e godersi il fresco della sera. È stata una bellissima esperienza, grazie davvero di tutto, torneremo di sicuro!

GGuest UserI never review anything on the internet, but I made a trip advisor account just to make sure people knew about how awful this place was. We booked this place in the hopes of getting a rustic, charming experience but what we got was far from that. We stayed here after getting off the ferry from Dubrovnik on our way to Napoli. This was by far the worst travel experience we’ve ever had. Location - 1/5 The first thing to note is that this hotel is NOT in Bari. There are no Ubers and the taxi into town costs €30 every time. You’re far from everything and it feels more like a neighborhood hotel not meant for travelers. Rooms - 2/5 The actual hotel is converted from a fort of some kind. Our room was in what used to be a closet and had cumbersome lock. The beds were insanely hard. Even with great AC (the one good thing here), we got very poor sleep because of the mattresses. The shower smelled weird and was tiny. I could barely move my arms in there to clean my body. The room we were stayed in was a faraday cage and blocked all cellular service AND the hotel’s Wi-Fi. Service - 0/5 The staff acted like they were doing you a favor when you asked them for anything. When we asked about the Wi-Fi situation, they told us there was nothing they could do and couldn’t switch rooms. That’s it. The staff seemed irritated every time we asked them to call us a taxi - remember there are no Ubers or other forms of transport nearby. If you’re used to any form of service at hotels don’t expect that here. Breakfast - 1/5 The breakfast was truly the saddest I’ve ever had anywhere. Just some cold, unappetizing meats and baked goods. Really low effort here. At least it was included in the price so there’s that to be thankful for. Overall, I would say this place is one to avoid if you want a good experience. We couldn’t get out of the place quickly enough. Bari itself is charming and well worth seeing. I would say you’re better off staying at a hostel in the actual city over this terrible hotel. This hotel gave me a new low to compare every other place too.

GGuest UserLet's say that for the feast of San Nicola in Bari the closets are also rented out at crazy prices. However, the room that was reserved for us in these B&Bs was really large, spacious and clean. There is no staff to welcome customers because the doors can be opened from the street via mobile phone and a link that is sent at the time of booking. The bathroom is very spacious and in any case fully equipped. The problem is that, probably lacking control, in our room there was a strong and acrid smell of smoke that leaving the windows wide open for hours was useless, thanks also to the favor of mild temperatures. Then the acoustic insulation of the windows is bad, you can't sleep. On the ground floor there are vending machines that are overrun by groups of kids, even in the middle of the night. Too bad, it could have deserved a higher rating.

CchrisglrouenLa propriété en elle-même comme le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques et bien entretenus. Ne pas se laisser abuser par le caractère rural des lieux : tout autour, sans gêne excessive, une ligne de chemin de fer, une voie rapide, un stade et un centre commercial. Chambre au confort simple (nous étions dans l’annexe). Sans être hyper chaleureux, l’accueil reste aimable et agréable. Une application numérique, au final bien inutile et pompeuse, permet de commander ses consommations à la piscine (alors que l’employé est sur place !). Même chose pour les produits optionnels au petit déjeuner : une base est servie en buffet et peut être complétée via une commande sur la fameuse application. Là encore les employés sont présents… La propriété est fermée par une grille. Pas de digicode. Il faut sonner pour entrer et sortir ou appeler un numéro de téléphone la nuit… Dernier point particulièrement désagréable : à la piscine le port du bonnet de bain est obligatoire pour les femmes aux cheveux longs.
