Location is near the train station, it just gets busy during weekends. Beside Tesco Express, and near several restaurant and cafe. The room is clean and spacious. Basic amenities. They provide coffee and tea. No hair blower. Person in the Front desk is friendly.

Access into the hotel after checking in, requires an access card which removes the need for room keys in the lift. Room doors were quite hard to push. Room was clean. Windows open and close with automated switches, but I couldn't figure out how to get the curtains open. Bed was comfortable enough. No mini-fridge but a good blend of teas, the usual coffee sachets and choice of sweeteners. TV was small with tinny audio The bathroom was clean. However, there was a missing circular plug (above the mirror), which given the number of rodents spotted outside in the square, was a bit unnerving. Wires could be seen running, so it must be access for some type of electrics. Sealant was not completely run on the left side of the sink. I would have preferred to have the light switch on the inside of the bathroom, for obvious reasons.

No amenities, no services provided, rooms are cleaned after seven nights, no Internet , only 14 inches TV and no international channels, very boring.

Good location decent price 2 minutes from the tube. Clean tidy rooms

Great stay, ignore all current reviews. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Great location easy to access only 40 mins to central London. 20 mins from the 02, only 13 pound ins Uber. Great location for the 02.

A functional hotel in a very convenient location for anyone staying in Barking or wanting to travel into London.

My grandson and his girlfriend booked this Travel Lodge 5wks in advance of arrival. Room was booked for 3pm, arrived 2.45, my grandson was flatly turned away because he was 17, his girlfriend is 18, this was asked b4 booking was accepted, they were turned down by a girl called Sharnice on front desk, this was in Barking miles away from home. They tried to book into another hotel close by but were unsuccessful, only because of intervention from my grandsons girlfriends mother calling the hotel did they accept them back at the Travel Lodge. They were then given a single room between them that had only just been vacated, not clean, single bed, wet shower. They went to the concert that was booked and when coming back to the Travel Lodge a different lady was on reception and gave them the proper room they'd booked and apologised for Sharnice being so dispicably rude to my grandson and his girlfriend. Checkout was 12noon nxt day, at 10am someone was trying to open their bedroom door, when my grandson went to see who was there, it was Sharnice and another member of staff running off down the corridor. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional and put my grandson and his girlfriend in what could have been a dangerous position by not being able to have a safe place to stay, angry beyond words

Upon arriving checkin despite my late arrival was professional and swift. The building is modern and everything seemed well maintained. The bathroom was nice with a good shower. I slept well and there was a lovely sunrise because my room faced east. My only issue was lack of plug sockets, when I arrived the room had no heating on, so I plugged in the heater. That caused the actual plug socket to get very hot. Otherwise I got a good night's sleep and found the location convenient for the tube and trains to Central London.

I've never written a bad review for a hotel before, however this (for the price) took the biscuit. I stayed for 2 nights - There was a gaping hole in the ceiling bathroom from a missing light fitting, that was full of crap. The shower gel dispenser didn't work at all, it was dirty, no air con, only a fan and an electric heater. Beds are hard as a rock (but I expected that). It wasn't a cheap stay, and wouldn't reccommend this location at all. Full of undesirables outside, shouting all night, fighting, a really rough area indeed. It was close to parking and the Underground, that was the only positives I could find. I reported the Shower issue to Reception, they did nothing, so went and bought our own shower gel instead out of frustration. The staff were too busy chatting to each other rather than dealing with customers. Hated the stay, would never return.

Hello! I have recently stayed in Travelodge London Barking. Izabela was extremely welcoming and supportive! She really helped me settle well and I have had a very enjoyable stay thanks to her in Travelodge London Barking! I strongly recommend!

The receptionist mr Ashif is so wonderful and welcoming. He received us ex ellentlly well.He took his time to explain even the Internet on how to login.............................................................................
