We spent our vacation here in May, i.e. out of season (this is important). There are no questions about the apartment: we booked a mini-studio with the ability to cook and do our own laundry, so that’s what we got. The remaining aspects were not encouraging. The hotel is located in a remote, ugly area where crowds of stray dogs roam, so it’s uncomfortable to walk there, even though the sea is nearby. But what we missed the most was the service, or rather the lack thereof. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were sent to wander around the city, because... There’s not even a trivial place to sit there, not counting the benches on the street. At five in the morning. Tired after a sleepless night. As if no one should have given us a room right away, the complete lack of care on the part of the staff about their own guests, who seem to be paying them quite a lot of money, left an unpleasant aftertaste. The final chord was waking up to the sounds of a drill. In complete bewilderment and indignation, I went to the reception to find out what was going on, and the girl there just threw up her hands, saying that the residents were drilling and there was no way to influence them. Allegedly, only in the summer they are prohibited from carrying out repair work, so as not to disturb vacationers. But we, apparently, are not vacationers and no one cares about our comfort :) Well, the achievement is open: to come to another country on vacation and enjoy a drill for your own money. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere, so I’ll definitely never set foot in this hotel again.
