I like the hotel but food and service were only good in the restaurants rather than the Food Hall, service was really poor in the Food Hall( breakfast and dinner)
Check in was really quick and entertainment was good too for the time we spent. I feel the value is too high for what you get

Lovely stay! The staff was really nice. Beautiful grounds with all kinds of wildlife. The food was ok, ice cream shop was great. The only down side was that coffee shop and gym only open at 8-9am.

Just returned from an 11 night holiday in paradise thats the only way I can describe this resort from the minute we arrived till the minute we left we were made so welcome,the rooms are so clean infact the whole resort is so clean food is excellent beds comfortable, we went for the platinum package and I would highly recommend it, top location on the beech with comfortable sunbeds and the 3 members of staff at the platinum bar/restaurant who made our holiday so special, a big thank you too andres,praticio and cepin yous are a credit to this complex thank yous so much.we have only arrived home one day and are now planning to return next year.

This hotel is fab the staff where amazing and couldn't do enough to make sure we had the best time , we booked the platinum, which was worth every penny , have to say a big thanks to andnes , praticio , cepin, they wher brilliant they where so helpful, had a Brill time .

I have just spent 2 unforgettable weeks in this resort. Staff really make this place, they are very attentive and hard-working. I would like to specifically commend all bar staff in the Beach House bar, Catherin (platinim bar), Julia (lobby bar), Maria (Fogo/El Pilon) and Arabelis (Fogo). The grounds are very well kept and clean (apart from the beach) and the rooms are confortable. This was my third visit because I had a very positive experience on previous occasions however, I also noticed a steep decline in the quality of the service. Food - food labels in the main buffet restaurant were often incorrect which is a major issue for people with dietary needs or allergies. Cutlery or coffee cups were also often missing and the eggs station was never open at 07:00 as advertised. In the Italian restaurant I was brought a different soup than what I had ordered. Service at the a la carte restaurants can be painfully slow. My favorite was Fogo, but the whole meal service takes over 90 minutes. I also found that my glass often stayed empty at Fogo with nobody refilling water and wine. Drinks - Alcoholic drinks appearing on the standard menu were very often not available in the bars. It was hardly impossible to get Coco Loco cocktail in any of the bars and if I got it, there was no cocoa in it. The beach house usually did not have any cream liqueur or the necessary ingredients for Negroni or Manhattan. Housekeeping - my room was cleaned daily. Toiletries were not well replenished though. It was very rare that I had both shower gel and shampoo available. On some days I had none. Or if I left an almost empty tube of shower gel in the shower then it was not replenished until I actually threw the tube in the bin. There were also some issues with stocking up the minibar. It was rather difficult to get beer replenished. One day even water was missing. One morning they were cleaning the floor in the hallway with a very slippery soapy liquid. Instead of cleaning it in small sections and at a quiet time, they flooded a large part of the hallway. As I opened the door and stepped outside I slipped and fell. I don't understand why they had to do this in the middle of the morning when guests come and go to have breakfast or to the beach. Evening entertainment - very low profile. A singer, or a saxophonist, or a violinist playing for an hour, and that's it. There was also party on the square with rather annoying loud music and a Michael Jackson or similar themed performance. These were all very low key. I would have enjoyed higher profile shows linked to music, art and culture in the Caribbean or the Americas. Beach - efforts are made every morning to clean up the sargassum. This improved since my last visit when workers were collecting them with hand into black bin bags which were often left on the beach for hours. This time it was done with a machine - well done!
