I stayed only one night for a birthday weekend with some friends, and the hotel is absolutely amazing. I was upgraded to a suite-like room and I loved the bathtub. The service is great, everyone is friendly and I had wonderful service from one of the employees named Osborn! I was happy that some of the workers spoke some English, but everyone is very polite. We enjoyed the Okterberfest event at the hotel, the ride on the boat was pleasant as well. We didn’t get to bike ride but had a fun time watching people riding and enjoy the nice weather.

Winter is the coldest few days in Beijing this winter. Because the rooms have many floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lake, the air conditioning can't keep up. The hotel added two electric heaters and the effect is much better. The view outside the room window is great, and the facilities, services, and breakfast dishes are all online. Although we know that Yanqi Hotel and Sunrise Oriental are both Kempinski hotels, it is recommended that Yanqi Hotel increase publicity on its own WeChat account and social platforms to let everyone know more about the beauty of this place. After the heavy snowfall in Beijing during this trip, the scenery of Yanqi Lake was particularly charming. It is recommended that you must climb the Yanqi Tower. I would like to mention here Mr. Mei from the concierge. He accompanied our family on the whole journey of sightseeing and climbing the tower on a cold day. Not far from the city, you can reach it by car and bus. The traffic is more convenient and the road conditions are also very good. The hotel is not very big, but it is a pity that the room is clean and tidy, but the drinking water is a pity. The room is only equipped with two bottles of water, and you need to buy it at your own expense after it is used up. This is something I rarely encounter in other hotels. Shopping is inconvenient. The hotel is in a large park, with children feeding small animals, tent areas, and real cs. This place is more suitable for group building.

The hotel facilities are very new, and the duplex room is very suitable for a family of three. The children were very excited and it was fun to go up and down the stairs. The hotel has an underground garage, and the Chinese simple meals in the restaurant taste very good. The breakfast is also rich and worth the price. There is also a cafe next to it. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the Water Great Wall, which is very convenient. The most important thing to say is that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic. As soon as they arrived at the hotel, they took the initiative to hand over tea and asked about their well-being. The only drawback is that there is no control button at the head of the bed on the first floor, so it is a little troublesome to turn on the light in the middle of the night. At the end of the Spring Festival holiday, I wanted to take my children skiing⛷️, and stayed in this hotel. It can be said that the hotel facilities are perfect, the service is also very good, and I am very satisfied! ☞The area near the hotel is very open, not crowded, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The lobby is magnificent, clean and tidy. The guest rooms are also large, and the bathroom facilities are very comfortable. The room service is also very good, and the sanitation is clean. ☞The children's playground and the swimming pool are open from 12 noon to 12 midnight. The children's playground is suitable for babies, but my two princesses in elementary school also played in it for a long time. The only regret is that the water in the swimming pool is too cold, and the sauna in the locker room does not seem to be open. Last month, the indoor swimming pool of another five-star hotel was heated in winter, and the water temperature was higher, so swimming in winter was not a problem at all, and it was basically impossible to go into the water here. ☞The breakfast is pretty good, which is the breakfast standard of a 5-star hotel. There are also few people, and the service of the waiters is very good, and they are responsive. I will come here again next time, and I recommend families with children to stay.

Great experience. Service was perfect. Yanqi Lake Boutique Hotels, managed by Kempinski are impeccable. My family stayed two nights. I've booked two rooms. One single bed and one twin beds room. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. I was surprised how big and clean rooms where. Toilets were clean and specious. What you see on the pictures is what you get. More than I’ve expected. Food was perfect. We had buffet breakfast and we could choose between western food and Chinese food. For diner we eat at the restaurant and the food we ordered was delicious. Lots of things to do around. You can visit Hongluo Temple, Mutianyu Great Wall or you can walk around hotel area and see the Yanqi Pagoda or visit International Conference Center (APEC and Belt and Road Initiative conferences were held there, and it was nice experience to visit the place where most powerful leaders in the world seated and planed the future of the world). The door was locked and I wasn’t sure if it could be opened, but it was very cold in the winter and we didn’t plan to go out. Directly facing the outside is the scenery of Yanqi Lake, which is beautiful both during the day and at night. It is originally a place to relax on weekends. In winter, you can stay in the hotel and take beautiful photos without going out. The room we booked included dinner and breakfast buffet. The dishes were good, and it was very convenient to be in the hotel. The meal service time was also relatively long, and it was very free. Finally, in terms of service, there is not much to say~ The staff were very enthusiastic. After checking in, they helped us deliver all our luggage to the room and gave us a brief introduction. I decided to take my best friend here to celebrate her birthday on the weekend, so I called the hotel in advance and asked if they could bring some balloons or something to decorate. The hotel said it was no problem, as long as it didn't damage the wall. All in all, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay~ I saw a small performance when I passed by the lobby in the afternoon. There were many children playing together. The atmosphere was very good. Come and experience it while it has just opened. qwq

There are 2 exits in front of the hotel. And just 6 to 9 minutes to the next street are a few shopping malls. The malls offer a range of clothing and food outlets. The hotel toiletries are replenished daily, and the cleaning staff are polite and go out of their way to help. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay in when in Beijing.
