Best Boutique Hotels Beijing

The hotel was very old and some facilities were not in a good condition, for example, the toilet and shower room. The location is really nice next to the subway station but there were no elevator and escalator, you will need to carry the bag upstairs. The room was big.

Location very convenient, room very bright, modern, full of arts and very spacious.  Restaurant and lobby very comfortable, beautiful.  Breakfast choices a bit not that many.  Only defects that I found dirts on the quilt cover, but they changed it immediately after I reported.  Very courteous staffs.

Great location, wifi signal can be better. Breakfast buffet must be richer and capacity for people who eat breakfast at the same time must be bigger. Prices are great, gym is well equipped, staff is decent. English language, like everywhere in China is questionable, but everyone are willing to help. I would recommend this hotel to everyone in need of a city center location!

The hotel location is fantastic, which can access most of the tourist spots within the metro. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The only stepback is that the hotel decoration is tired and the laundry machine service is expensive. They are charging you differently based on the consuming time! You can reach the hotel by line 2 & 5 and exit H to reach the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Novotel Beijing Peace, and I couldn't be happier with the outstanding service provided by the front office staff. Not only were they welcoming and efficient during check-in, but they also surprised me with a free upgrade to a more luxurious room. This unexpected gesture made my stay even more enjoyable and memorable. Throughout my time at the hotel, the front office team continued to impress me with their professionalism and attentiveness to my needs. Staff at Sofitel Beijing are welcoming and service level you can expect are on par with other 5 star international hotel brands around the world (although this is definitely not the case everywhere in China). There are numerous hotels in Beijing to chose from, but I have decided to come back to the Sofitel everytime, simply because I know I will get the same level of service and etiquette. A special shout out to Clarey and Leah for their professionalism and customer service which made my stay that much more enjoyable. The deluxe rooms are very very generally sized and the suites on the top floors have some of the largest floor space in my experience. One downside of a nice, fancy, modern decor is that it uses many different materials and does not hide general wear and tear well, leaving scratches and scrapes that looks worse than it is. Comfort level of the hotel is definitely the main draw card. Makes it difficult to want to leave the hotel. But the subway is a 5 min walk if you want to get around during peak hour to avoid traffic congestion, otherwise getting around with DiDi or taxis are fairly cheap where ever you go with the hotel’s location.

The convenient access to the metro station also made it easy to venture further afield. Comfort and Convenience: My room was a haven of comfort and style. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and modern amenities provided everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the well-stocked tea and coffee station. Exceptional Service: What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I must specifically commend their honesty and efficiency. After I accidentally left a necklace in my room, they promptly contacted me and arranged for its safe return. This act of kindness truly exemplified their commitment to guest satisfaction. Beyond Expectations: The Manxin Hotel Wangfujing exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a perfect blend of modern comfort, traditional charm, and outstanding service. Amazing place, first of all, location is unbelievable convenient: it’s Chaoyang district, near by Solana mall. Room is huge, price is cheap, excellent and helpful personal. I highly recommend this hotel for stay in Beijing.

Pros: Clean, spacious, and modern rooms, with good amenities. Great location just 2 minutes walk from Dengshikou exit C, and a 24hr convenience store nearby. It’s situated on a quiet road but still with human activity that it feels safe going back alone at night. I like that it’s on line 5 which has access to the AirPort Express and also direct line to Lama temple and Temple of Heaven, and numerous other line changes. Walkable to Wangfujing as well. Receptionist and concierge were great, luggage storage and check in/out were seamless. Cons: There was a clump of hair by the door when I checked in - it was probably blocked by the door and housekeeper missed it. The walls were also quite thin, I could hear my neighbours’ conversation (and snoring/farting) and doors slamming at night/in the morning. It didn’t affect me or my sleep too much but just FYI to those considering.
