I checked in on the first day of the ***** new year and checked out on the third day of the ***** new year. I originally planned to check out early on the second day of the ***** new year, but my child didn’t want to leave, so I reluctantly completed the order. Let me start by saying that the hygiene is very good, the towels and bedding are good, and the room is consistent with the pictures. Here is my adventure: ⚠️Please do not stay in Wuyue Room (Chanjuan Room, the toilet and shower in this room leak) and Qiyue Room (Qingying Room, inconsistent with the picture, there is no bathtub, and this room is in the darkest place, it is extremely cold) Let’s talk about sunshine first. Their rooms are divided into the first floor and the semi-underground patio. For example, the Qingying room I booked is in the semi-underground and has basically no sunlight. The Chanjuan room is on the first floor and can have very warm sunlight. The difference between upstairs and downstairs is seven degrees. It’s 24 degrees upstairs and 18 degrees downstairs. Let’s talk about facilities. Their rooms all have the most popular design nowadays. The bathroom has a sunken water-blocking design, but the construction and design are not on the same level. The water from the shower head is very fine, and it feels like drizzle. Anyway, washing long hair is very uncomfortable. The shower head is installed at a height of 1.12 meters. As a visitor from Saturn, I don’t know how to use it. Anyway, it’s very unpleasant for me to take a shower. Moreover, the toilet seat is full of water, and the water didn’t dry out all night. Now let’s talk about the weird incident. On the first night, the shower leaked and the toilet leaked. The toilet was reported for repair at noon, but it was not repaired all afternoon. I fixed it myself and the water stopped flowing, so I thought this would be fine. It was Chinese New Year. But before going to bed at night, my husband went to use it. The large size must be flushed. After flushing it, the result was like sleeping by the river all night. Our family of three basically didn’t sleep for a whole night. This water is also wasted. I couldn't think about it anymore when I woke up early in the morning. Later, the order was canceled and the child didn't want to leave. So let's look at changing rooms. Change to the Qiyue room (also known as the Qingying room) downstairs. There is an electric heater as soon as you enter the door. Seeing that the temperature was only 8 degrees, I was confused as to what this meant. After waiting for another two hours, I moved to the December room next door (also a Qingying room). The three of them had the floor heating set to the maximum and the air conditioner set to the maximum in the room. They all had to wear a cotton vest, and later they coordinated and added an electric heater. It was finally 20 degrees in the room. Because of this, the hotel gave us an afternoon tea as a gift. We made a reservation one night in advance. However, when we went there today, they cleared the baby and my husband out of the glass house (I went out to buy coffee and were not there), and said that we It can only be located in the restaurant, and the baby even cried because of it, ugh! All I can say is can you tell me when I made the reservation last night! In short, the yard is divided into a front yard and a backyard. The front yard hosts afternoon tea and special hot pot at the same time. The backyard is a hotel. If the hotel is on the first floor, it is okay. The underground patio requires a spiral staircase. There is no elevator, which is inconvenient. Children can easily fall. also very cold

The room is tidy, the bed is comfortable, and the service attitude is really good. I came here with a big suitcase. I originally wanted to request a room on the first floor but forgot to make a note. When we checked in, the front desk helped us check in and helped us carry the suitcase to the second floor. If you take a taxi, remember to tell the driver that the alley is passable. Many drivers will be reluctant to drive in when they see the alley is narrow. I didn’t know beforehand, so I was put on the main road and walked into the alley with my suitcase. But it’s not far away and is only a few minutes away from the straight road. The alley may be dark at night, but there are many people walking there and it is not dangerous at all. There are many restaurants and coffee shops hidden in the alley. It is recommended that you try them all. The house is really as pictured. There is also a smart TV in the room. If you don’t want to go out, you can use it. The only shortcoming is that the sound insulation is poor. On the day I checked in, I happened to meet an uncivilized family. The children were noisy from morning to night, and they were still on at almost midnight. The door was talking loudly and running up and down the corridor. I was an extremely light sleeper and went to bed early, so it affected my sleep. But at night after everyone fell asleep, it was really quiet. If you want to experience a courtyard house and don’t mind poor soundproofing, I highly recommend this hotel. After all, hotels near tourist attractions in Beijing are quite expensive. This hotel is affordable. It’s close to Gulou Street, Nanluogu Lane, and Shichahai. You can go shopping in the morning, lunch and evening. It’s very convenient to take the subway and bus. There are also shared bicycles.

The hotel location is amazing. The room is clean and has all utilities needed, and you can have movies on the TV (the choices are a bit scarce). The lobby has drinks accessible and the staff is really polite which makes up for the little English they speak. I left the city earlier so I had to cancel 3 nights out of the 4 I booked and I received a refund within 1h of chatting with the customer support. Overall, great experience.

The hotel in the hutong is a quiet place in the hustle and bustle. It is located in Nanluogu Alley, but when you turn around, you will find Ju'er Hutong, which is very quiet. Going out and wandering around in the alleys is very interesting, but it is a bit far from the subway, but the bus is quite close. There are not too many breakfast varieties, but the taste is pretty good. The ingredients are carefully selected and cooked, and the service is also very attentive.

This hotel is located in the heart of the hutongs - not a great thing on national holidays or busy weekends but very pleasant the rest of the time. You cannot get a taxi to the door so don’t book this if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel is collocated with a Starbucks which we loved. Very close to sights like forbidden city, Tiananmen Square etc. We were given complimentary breakfasts by the staff, the first morning was fried bread and baozi, the second morning they rocked up with McDonalds and Starbucks - very kind! Our room had an excellent terrace which we loved to sit on. The room amenities were a bit suspicious, and included a box full of purchasable sextoys on the bedside. All in all we had a comfortable stay.

Service: Generally speaking, it’s okay, the room is a bit small, so you don’t have to worry about eating or shopping here, and there’s Nanluoguxiang at the door, a street for eating, it’s quite quiet at night, not noisy, Now it’s okay to live in a room with a balcony in this weather. In summer, there should be bugs and the like. The hotel’s brother is very nice. My suggestion is that the breakfast time can be a little earlier, because our itinerary this time is still for you. We are a little ahead of time, thank you very much 🙏

I don’t know why Ctrip defines it as an affordable luxury hotel. It’s just an inn. The location is amazing. It’s in Nanluoguxiang and very close to the subway station. My best friend and I have two kids. There are two double rooms and one is upstairs. The door cannot be locked. The window outside is the roof of the house next to it. The other room is on the first floor. In the middle of the night, I felt someone prying on the door and moving the window. It scared the baby so much that he dared not sleep. I called the innkeeper on duty and asked him to come and take a look. It took more than ten minutes to wait in such a small place. The next day I asked other staff and they said that Wong Tai Sin would wander around at night. Well... it's okay to just sleep for the location.

If you don’t mind to walk half a mile from metro station the location is good. It’s near a ancient culture alley with lots of stores. It’s easy to go to popular tourism destinations such as Tiananmen square, forbidden city. Be aware it’s hard for taxi to reach the front door of the hotel since it’s tucked in a narrow alley.
