Hotels Near Dongsi in Beijing

This place is super convenient for family traveling with elderly and also toddler. It is well-equipped with washing and drying machine for laundry. The cooking hob & knob are provided too but there was no pots and pans provided in the unit for cooking. I didnt find out further if we are allowed to cook inside the unit but when i went to level B1 for coffees (free!) i saw there was anoher kitchen which is bigger that has pans and pots (but very limited, I only saw 1 pan). The plates provided in the unit are only 3 plates without any bowls, which is quite restricted when we dine in the unit by ordering food delivery. However, we managed it by using the food containers from our delivery. We did not approach the front desk to ask for more plates and bowls though. So i am not sure if they can provide. The front receptionist who work during night time during our stay is more warm and friendly than the rest. There was a morning shift staff whom I have not met, but heard from my family, that she gave a cute keychain to my kid, which i feel is a very lovely gesture. Having read that some taxis refused to drive into the hutong due to its small and narrow road has caused me concerns when i did the booking, but fortunately all the taxis we got managed to wait for us right outside our apartment. Meaning that all are willing to drive in. There are bicycle returning spots right outside the apartment which makes it so convenient for us to return the bicycles we rented using the online platform. Outside the hutong, there are shops like eateries which make it very convenient for us. We even took our brunch at ”men ji mi fan” which serves very good ”mi xian”(noodles) that i was looking forward to when i am visiting Beijing. My kid and elderly mum really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. They even enjoy chatting with the lady who cleans our apartment as she is really friendly and warm. There are 2 bathrooms in our 2-bed unit which again makes it super convenient for us during our stay. My kid loves the apartment as if its her second home. We like the coffee provided free at B1 as the fragrant is really as good as those at coffee shops. We visited B1 entertainment room for a few times and chill there for a short while. There is a pool table and a gym room right next to it. The stay is very peaceful and quiet throughout our 1 week stay. Reception and security guard are there 24 hours. There is even a postage room that keeps all our online shopping parcels which makes it very convenient to shop. I gave only 4/5 for facilities due to shortage of cooking utensils/bowls in our unit. But other than that, there is nothing else that is short of our expectations. Thanks to BASE apartment team for the lovely stay!

I love this style of hotel. The large front desk made of pure stone is full of elegance (I heard that the old stone is specially sourced from Quanzhou, which is very generous). When I booked it, I paid for the style. After checking in, I was impressed by the cleanliness, service, and various small details. It won my heart. I guess the boss must have obsessive-compulsive disorder. All the small places are neat and tidy, the boards are straight, and the small refrigerator is specially decorated with wood. I really like the overall wood tone! ! ! !

Customer service was excellent, everyone was very welcoming and very helpful. The room I stayed in was just lovely, very well decorated, clean, and very comfortable. Great location, convenient to get around and right next to one of the train stations. I'd definitely stay here again, highly recommended for all kinds of travellers.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed with Park Plaza Wangfujing. The first time was with my wife for a week (March 2024), and we upgraded to a suite and had a wonderful room and stay. I was in China again on my own, and had a few spare days and chose to stay again at Park Plaza Wangfujing, because of location, comfort, and the assistance from Kevin Li, who seemed to work 24/7. He significantly assisted us on the first visit, and when I arrived for the current June 2024 visit, he was again at reception offering to assist again. Kevin helped find places to visit, helped logistics, and guided us throughout our March stay, and was equally helpful during my short stay this time. Note that because of the proximity to the Wangfujing shopping district, along with a bunch of other tourist destinations, and because of the connection to a line 5 metro station, everywhere was easy to reach from this hotel. This visit I had a view of the courtyard between the buildings, one of which was Park Plaza. Last visit, we had a view of the adjacent Hu Tong area just north of the hotel and the suburbs to the north, as far away as the Olympic village, and beyond.

When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

Amazing. Highly recommend. Great value for the size, 4 times the size of a regular hotel room. Would def rebook and stay at this Marriott in Beijing in the future. Fully equipped amenities and full kitchen. Housekeeping everyday and helped wash the dishes and offered to wash clothing, even though the suite has a washing machine, dish washing machine, stainless steel pots, etc. Only 3 mins walking distance to one of the best high-end malls, Wangfu Central 王府中環. My mother just had a hip-replacement surgery and has trouble walking in the snow or long distances, so location to everything was prime importance, this hotel was only 5-6 min walk to all the essential banks we needed to visit. Also, was hoping to take her to a few hot springs to relieve numbness and pain in her legs, but the bath tub in the spacious bathroom was so huge and comfortable we often stayed in to take turns soaking in the tub instead of going to the hot springs. Also, they had an indoor temperature controlled swimming pool, so we went swimming every other day, and used their gym. The swimming pool was empty and had 3 life guards guarding the swimming. All I can say is this apartment hotel is one of the best you can book in Beijing.

Location very close Indonesian Embassy, and to other embassy in fact. Easy access and accommodation from everywhere. Very friendly staff. We booked tatami room, but when they saw us with the luggage, they help us to upgrade the room for easy access. Will return to this hotel again when visiting Beijing in the future.

I will definitely stay at Intercontinental in Sanlitun Beijing again. I am a frequent traveller and it’s been one of the best stays I’ve had. The location is great, the room is new and spacious, the bed is also very comfortable. All of the staff were very helpful and professional. The one that stood out was Hardy who helped us book restaurants, made sure we had a smooth check in and check out. He was very kind and caring to ensure we had a good stay. Thank you and we highly recommend any of our friends to stay at Intercontinental Sanlitun in Beijing.

fantastic hotel! stayed in a dorm and the room was big, it felt like there was a lot of space including a table and seating area. everything was really clean and the outdoor terrace had a gorgeous view of hutong rooftops. there are washing machines but no tumble dryer. the location is really great too, central, easy to get public transport, and lots of food options nearby including a 24hr shop. the only thing is that towels & hand wash are not provided in the dorms so you have to remember to bring your own. other guests used my personal towel a couple times which was annoying!

The hotel located in good location , easy to find nd cloaes to MRT , Jingson station by walk in a few minute. Lots of convenience store nd resturant around here. , The room very clean big enough for our group of 4 people. 2 bed room with 4 single bed. Love this hotel , if i come to Beijing again surely i must stay here.
