It's very closed to the great wall entrance. The hotel is really lovely. the outstanding is private hottub open air. Especially you do hottub after back from climbing the great wall and cold day. Sadly there is no view. And no snow when i stay there. Breakfast is also good. Highly recommended. And if i have a chance , i will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Outdoor bath should be one of the highlights for this premises. Breakfast is delicious. There is no soundproof in our room, and we can smell cigarette smoke from next door.

Great room with private Onsen in Gubei water town, Next to Simatai Great Wall

The private hot spring was an added feature to relax after a day of walking around the water town and Great Wall. Everything was self-sufficient. The location is very near the entrance to the Great Wall. The only downside was the bed was hard and moving of luggage to the pick-up area was a distant.

Is very helpful and great view

Everything was great. Thre staff were friendly, the restaurant in the courtyard had good food, and the room has heated floors. Traditional kang beds are hard, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't sleep on their back or with back problems.

I would not recommend booking with this location. I made a mistake booking over a week in advance and even though I made contact right away to cancel/refund I was denied. No changes are posted in the rules but this is NOT good customer service.

The location is the most in the water town, but after walking the Great Wall down to rest is just right Eat.

The inn is clean. If you like the traditional rural-style rooms, you can try it. Only the entrance hall in front of the room has a musty smell, which may be due to the windproof curtains. The staff are very kind and simple, and the environment is also good. The location is suitable for those who want to climb the Great Wall and soak in hot springs. Said it was very convenient! The socket in the bathroom may be faulty and the hair dryer cannot be used. Just get the socket in the room and you can use it!

The hotel owner is very enthusiastic and sincere. There was a little incident when checking in, but it was solved in time. First of all, the room is really big. At first, I thought the room was not big because of the square meters. In fact, it is spacious, warm and comfortable. The hot spring pool in the room is really great. It is really a top enjoyment to soak in this autumn and winter. The breakfast is also delicious. My friend and I have agreed to make it a regular project to come to Gubei to soak in hot springs

Baqi Inn is located at the innermost of Gubei Water Town, very close to Yuanyang Lake Reservoir and Simatai Great Wall, and the Great Wall can be clearly seen from the courtyard. This New Year's Eve was really great. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The private hot spring was great and you could take a dip whenever you wanted. The breakfast was also delicious. I will choose this hotel again next time. It is highly recommended.
