Beijing Xicheng District 2-star Hotels

The hotel is conveniently located near the main attractions in Beijing: Temple of Heaven, Tianmen Square and the Forbidden City were easy to reach on foot or via subway. The courtyard is stunning and I loved the ambience by day and night. The room was very small but I only needed it for sleeping and showering anyway, so that was fine for me. I would book there again, when I return to Beijing.

Opposite the hotel is the Huguosi Snack Street. The bus and subway are very convenient. You can go to Beihai Park in 20 minutes to half an hour's walk. It's really convenient. There is a little cat in the store that my children especially like. The front desk of the hotel is better than other hotels I have stayed in. The front desk is very nice. There is a girl named Xiaobai who is very nice and enthusiastic. She also helped us send our luggage and water when we left. Based on this enthusiasm, I must write this praise!

This is wonderful place to stay. Environment is very clean, staff also very nice, no noise from traffic, location is not much far from subway or Forbidden City. Room was very nicely decorated and cleaned. I never seen that much cleaned room before. I would definitely like to stay again.

Nice stay. Staff were fine, bed very comfy and decent size rooms. Key card to get into room and curtains for each bed so safe and private. Good location, only 5 minute walk from a metro station on line 2, or ＜30mins to Behai Park (good for early morning walk). Onsite cafe is nice but very expensive. Could do with another toilet and bigger lockers (the ones in my room only fit a small bag for valuables) but these are'nt major issues. Overall pretty good.

I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and strolled to Tiananmen Square. After waiting for a while, the flag was raised. It is also close to the Forbidden City. I walked there and ate. It’s more convenient. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Dashilar. The front desk and service staff are very friendly. They even gave me a few refrigerator magnets when I left. I will choose to stay there next time I go to Beijing.

Personally, I think the location is very good. It is in a residential area opposite Taoranting Park. The public security bureau is downstairs, which gives me a sense of security. There is a bus stop at the entrance of the alley, about 800 to 900 meters from the subway entrance, about ten minutes' walk. The room is a bit larger than the average Hanting room, and the temperature of the heated room is very comfortable. There is a small detail. When I checked in on the first day, I was too thirsty and asked for two more bottles of water. As a result, during the next five days of my stay, the lady on the floor took the initiative to put in a few more bottles of water every day. Although it was a small thing, it was still very interesting to see when I came back from playing. Happy, it shows that the service is very attentive, thumbs up ~ By the way, the restaurants in the alley are delicious. This shabu-shabu restaurant is more delicious and affordable than Dong Laishun. In short, it is very convenient to live here, recommended.

The electronic screen by the bed can adjust music and Air conditioning temperature. What I don't understand is why the curtains don't block the light. It's dawn at four or five o'clock in Beijing. I'm more sensitive to light, so I can't accept it. ❤️If I live in on the first day of the hotel’s opening, I will give it five stars, but now it can only be three and a half to four stars. The reason is that the design concept of the hotel has been realized to the greatest possible extent, but some are ignored while pursuing aesthetics. Humanized and continuous design, such as the transparent ceiling and golden decoration of the toilet, is not beautiful after long-term use and it is troublesome to maintain. Even so, this hotel is very cost-effective, and I recommend everyone to try it. Suggestion: You can add a detailed description of the use of the projection, some people may not use it; the flower nectar provided when you check in is not very effective. If the guest can drink warm tea when they check in, it will definitely add points.

In fact, the main purpose of our stay is to rest. No matter how good the hardware facilities are, no matter how complete, and the environment is good, if the noise is constant at night, I think we should give 0 points. I carefully observed that his house went up to the stairs on the third floor. It is sealed, which means that his house does not have a third floor. We live on the second floor but we are unlucky. The noise will not last forever. It will make a loud sound after a while, but the sound is very loud. It lasted until the middle of the night, and often started right after falling asleep. I only fell asleep at 3 in the morning. He didn’t have any hardware facilities. It was a better hotel nearby, but I couldn’t accept the noise. Interested friends can live on the first floor, but I don’t know what the first floor is like!
