Hotels Near Gropius Passagen in Berlin

The hotel is very good, more than 20 minutes from Berlin city by S train. After buying the tickets on the platform, you must remember to plug in the machine next to it to check the time~ If it is a small group of 5 people, it is recommended to buy a team ticket~ more cost-effective~ The service staff is also very patient. We deducted 25 euros per room one or two days before check-in. We asked about things every day. The hotel staff explained to us very clearly. In contrast, the Ctrip staff showed their shortcomings. I only talk about things. Our own process: After discovering these deductions, we contacted Ctrip's customer service and responded to the question. Ctrip said to help us understand the situation. After a while, we replied to us. Afterwards, Ctrip called: 1 did not contact us hotel. 2 They can help us ask questions as friends. We are a little angry at the end. We are wondering why we are ”helping” as ”friends” to ask? Instead of being an official booking platform? We believe in Ctrip. However, we are not satisfied with the previous resolution of this matter. It is hoped that Ctrip can have a better communication and handling mechanism in handling timely problems in the future. Great location for a family visit, also a good starting point for visits to the eastern part of Berlin. Altogether everything made a very clean impression; Room, shower, dishes. Only the hob was smeared, but it could also have been due to too much cleaning paste. We can't rate it because we didn't use the kitchenette. Self-sufficiency is not a problem, because the Adlershof shopping center (Kaufland, etc.) is a 10-minute walk away. We enjoyed breakfast with the family, otherwise, if you don't want to prepare it yourself, you would have to go to a hotel or restaurant a few doors down. This is bad in Corona times, as some restaurants in the area were closed. So check beforehand. Depending on the location of the apartment there can also be a bit more street noise, we were lucky we were near the parking area, it was quiet there. Although there was little activity over Christmas, the parking lanes along the surrounding streets were well occupied, which can mean that you cannot find a parking space in the immediate area during peak periods. The staff was very friendly, we also liked that the cleaning was only carried out on request. Definitely a worthwhile alternative to hotel stays that we will definitely use again.

Very well located, close to the airport, clean, cosy, everything in the room is very efficient. The breakfast was generous, healthy and well organised. The service in the hotel was nice and warm. Gods value for your money I strongly recommend

It did not start very well; I arrived at the hotel at 1 pm and was told that check-in will be at 3 pm. Fair enough, but usually hotels are more than happy to check guests in a few hours before the official check-in time if they have rooms available. Not here. I asked whether the hotel is full, and the only reply I received was that they cannot promise me a room before 3 pm. Strict policy, it seems, and extremely un-customer-friendly one at that. None of the receptionists were unfriendly as such, one might best describe them as being a bit indifferent. I returned at 3 pm and was promptly checked in. I had booked a single room, but received a handicapped double room instead. It was the biggest room on my floor and came with a roomy accesible bathroom. The room was, obviously, of good size. The bed was comfortable, but the duvet was very narrow. There was a desk and chair as well as two armchairs. The room had A/C, wifi, a safe and a complimentary 0.75 L bottle of water, which was much appreciated. There was room for a fridge, but it had been removed at some point. Wifi was easy to use, fast and reliable. The thin curtains did nothing to keep the room dark, so bring an eyemask if you want to sleep in darkness. The bathroom came with a roll-in shower. Water pressure in the handheld shower was excellent. Amenities consisted of one wall-mounted container of ”hand, hair & body soap”, which was not impressive at all. In addition, there was a single-use minibottle of body lotion. Brekafast would have been available on the ground floor breakfast room from 6:30 to 10 (weekends 7:30 to 11) at the cost of 15 € (prepaid on arrival) or 17 € (paid in the breakfast room), but I did not give it a try. There is a nice Italian restaurant one block away (Due Amici), which is a good alternative for lunch and dinner. The hotel is located in Adlershof, a suburb 20 min away from Alexanderplatz on the S-Bahn, every 20 minutes. The S-Bahn will also take you to the airport in 17 minutes, every ten minutes. The hotel is one tram stop away from the S-Bahn station, and the tram stops right in front of the hotel. Opposite the hotel you have Kaufland, a hypermarket open from 7 am till 10 pm (closed on Sundays). However, despite the name, this is not really an airport hotel. There is no shuttle and the ride to the airport will take time. The hotel is categorized as a three-star and fits that category just fine. There is nothing that entices me to stay here again – I might, but only if it is the cheapest option in the area.

Reception: Average reception person who was not overly pleasent nor helpful, but not rude either. Room / facilities: Room number 143 is on the 1st floor and is clean and initially new smelling, however this soon faded aster the sewerage smell took over. We turned the air conditioning on cold, but the room didn’t cool, only the fan seems to function(on the air conditioner) to circulate air. The queen bed is very comfortable and the pillows were flat and unsupportive and did little to provide a good night sleep. There is a large flat screen TV, desk and chair, bed side tables and lamps, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and clothes hanging facilities. The bathroom contained a stand shower, which was a little tight. Self control air conditioning (which seemed not to cool, but only circulate some air in the otherwise stuffy room. Parking: Parking is available under the hotel. It is unknown if any additional charge is applicable, however there is plenty of street parking for no cost. Wifi: Complementary, and extremely fast. No validation required. Breakfast: Unsure if this is available. Conclusion: Great overnighter for a departure flight from Berlin Airport.

The hotel is clean, modern and well-staffed. What was missing for us was warmth and the expected level of hospitality. During our 5-day stay, nobody ever said hello, goodbye or communicated in any manner unless we asked a direct question. When I checked out, the only thing the receptionist said was to remind me I had borrowed an electrical adaptor and to return it. I travel frequently and expect hotels to be warm and welcoming. Also, when I checked in I was given no hotel information other than the E25 breakfast hours. I'm sure it's wonderful, but I since only have coffee, there is no reason to pay 25 euros. Because we didn't go to breakfast and the receptionist didn't tell us, we missed many features of the hotel we might have enjoyed. To further our disappointing stay, there was no printed hotel info in our room other than a book about the featured artist. I hate QR codes, but when I scanned the hotel's, it gave sp**** information. The hotel lobby isn't welcoming and I didn't go to the bar until my last night so was unaware of all the things Art'otel would have liked me to know. The magazine was interesting and beautiful. Why isn't there a copy in guest rooms? The local information and maps were available in the breakfast area, but we didn't go there and weren't offered them by hotel staff. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the pictures of beautiful bathrooms with tubs. Sadly, the website fails to mention that tubs are only available in expensive suites. Our visit, while nice, was overpriced. We paid for hospitality and a good room, but only the room was up to the expected standards. Very disappointing.

I went to this hotel for a mid-week vacation with my lovely daughter. With an UBER it was about 10 Euro to get to the hotel. Check-in was smooth, the older man behind the desk wasnt overly friendly but rather efficient and that was fine. We paid the tourist-tax and got one room-key for our room. We paid online about 80 Euro a night and we got a room with three beds at the back. The room was clean and simple. A desk with a big-screen TV, a shower-room with a toilet and a wash-basin. The shower was ok but we didnt like the shower-curtains. Also the water would be warm for about five minutes but it didnt bother us. Everyday cleaning with new linen and towels. In the morning you can have breakfast but you have to pay for it. We didnt use it. The hotel is set conveniently in the middle of Berlin near Kurfurstenstrasse and Dam. Near the U-Bahn and busses.

Although the location and price for this hotel is great, the rooms themselves were disappointing. When entering the room for our first night I was immediately concerned about the room, with some wall fittings falling off, what seemed to be a lack of smoke alarm, one small bedside lamp and a tv relatively small and far from the bed along with only one alternative chair. Despite these shortcomings the room is quite spacious and beds relatively fine, with somewhat good soundproofing on the windows to stop the noise of the busy streets. Although these negatives would have been outweighed by the positives, we also had no room cleaning our entire 6 night stay which was highly disappointing. We would be awakened by the cleaners relatively early in the morning however usually we slept through this first attempt to clean. Most hotels would assume someone is asleep and come back and clean after they have gone about their day however this did not occur for our entire trip duration. To make matters worse we had no toilet roll replacements and had to source our own. In addition, on our 5th night they did Infact enter our room, they did Not take our overflowing bin, towels from the specified pick up area, change our sheets or make our beds or clean any portion of the room as expected of them. All they did was give us toilet roll. Very disappointing considering the ideal location for the hotel and the price.(although much cheaper than anywhere else in the area so some disappointment to be expected)
