I went to this hotel for a mid-week vacation with my lovely daughter. With an UBER it was about 10 Euro to get to the hotel. Check-in was smooth, the older man behind the desk wasnt overly friendly but rather efficient and that was fine. We paid the tourist-tax and got one room-key for our room. We paid online about 80 Euro a night and we got a room with three beds at the back. The room was clean and simple. A desk with a big-screen TV, a shower-room with a toilet and a wash-basin. The shower was ok but we didnt like the shower-curtains. Also the water would be warm for about five minutes but it didnt bother us. Everyday cleaning with new linen and towels. In the morning you can have breakfast but you have to pay for it. We didnt use it. The hotel is set conveniently in the middle of Berlin near Kurfurstenstrasse and Dam. Near the U-Bahn and busses.

Although the location and price for this hotel is great, the rooms themselves were disappointing. When entering the room for our first night I was immediately concerned about the room, with some wall fittings falling off, what seemed to be a lack of smoke alarm, one small bedside lamp and a tv relatively small and far from the bed along with only one alternative chair. Despite these shortcomings the room is quite spacious and beds relatively fine, with somewhat good soundproofing on the windows to stop the noise of the busy streets. Although these negatives would have been outweighed by the positives, we also had no room cleaning our entire 6 night stay which was highly disappointing. We would be awakened by the cleaners relatively early in the morning however usually we slept through this first attempt to clean. Most hotels would assume someone is asleep and come back and clean after they have gone about their day however this did not occur for our entire trip duration. To make matters worse we had no toilet roll replacements and had to source our own. In addition, on our 5th night they did Infact enter our room, they did Not take our overflowing bin, towels from the specified pick up area, change our sheets or make our beds or clean any portion of the room as expected of them. All they did was give us toilet roll. Very disappointing considering the ideal location for the hotel and the price.(although much cheaper than anywhere else in the area so some disappointment to be expected)

Good hotel, reasonable, great location and attentive staff. Breakfast is very generous, so pay for that. room was small, but had a desk and full bathroom and double bed, what else could you ask for. View was a parking lot but it also meant that it was quiet. Hot water pressure and internet speed were both good. Bathroom showed its age a little, but was fine.

Goed ontvangen na een lange reis vanuit nl naar Berlijn. We zijn naar potsdamerstrasse 129 gestuurd daar waar een steiger aan de voorzijde staat. Nr gebeld wat daar aan de deur vermeld hing aantal keren gebelde geen reacties. Trip.com gebeld deze hebben een kamer bij Lindemann's geregeld waarbij ik niets bij hoeft te betalen. Stayed here over a long weekend as a family of four for our first visit to Berlin. Our initial thoughts on arrival were that the hotel seemed a little bit ”out of the way”, but soon realised it couldn't have been more perfectly located for us and for what we were hoping for from our trip. The decor is very modern in style both in the communal areas and the bedrooms, and the two double rooms we stayed in on the top floor had an urban, industrial feel to them, whilst still being comfortable. They are compact by design, but have some very innovative storage spaces such as hangers on the wall, and an area marked out under the bed specifically for suitcases. The bed is without a doubt on the firmer side, but we slept well for the most part. Despite being across the road from a train station, the windows provide excellent soundproofing - you don't need them open with the effective air conditioning anyway - and they have electric blinds inside, activated by a switch beside the bed so you can enjoy the views, even after you're tucked in! The bathroom was spotless, with an enormous shower head with different pressure options at the press of a button. The mirror did steam up very quickly, but we found if we propped the door open, this could be avoided. We were also pleased to find that the room was attended to daily, with clean towels provided - something I have yet to come across anywhere else in our post-covid world! One of the main features that drew us to this hotel was the roof terrace, which provides a beautiful view across the local area, and we spent one particular evening up there enjoying coffee and a family game whilst watching a beautiful sunset. The bar is open until late on the ground floor, and we found not only the hot drinks to be of good quality, but the beer to be very good value, too! However, if you really are looking for some good beer, then hidden just behind the station across the road is a fantastic independent brewery, with a huge selection of beers, a gorgeous sun-trap of a beer garden, and street-food style outlets. Well worth a visit! The station itself provides a short ＜10 minute trip into the city centre and all of the main attractions in one direction, and around 45 minutes to the airport (with one train change), in the other direction. Potsdamer Platz and it's incredible history is also a reachable distance by foot. The staff are friendly, right through from check-in to check-out, from breakfast to evening drinks. Although we opted for breakfast on only one morning of our stay, there was plenty of choice, being a typical continental-style buffet breakfast, with breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits and yoghurts as well as hot options of scrambled eggs and pancakes. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to this incredible city, and are already dreaming up our next excuse to visit - maybe for the Christmas Markets?!

I was very positively surprised. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The room is very nicely decorated and it was clean. There is even a kettle (also clean, not calcified) with tea and instant coffee. Great for allergy sufferers: no carpet in the room. My highlight: the breakfast buffet. There was a lot going on during my stay, but the service kept up and kept refilling everything. There really is something for everyone, very diverse, fresh and delicious. I would recommend the hotel to everyone and book it again and again.

This hotel is an ideal residential neighbourhood, but also central to many attractions. Seconds from Liebeskind’s Jewish Museum, a short walk to Potsdamer Platz, etc. Superb breakfast, tidy modern rooms and excellent staff. Very comfortable and user friendly across all criteria. I would stay here again any time. Quiet street for the centre of Berlin.

Location: The location is the prime advantage if you wish to visit Berlin. All the attractions are easily accessible with Bus/S-Bahn/U-Bahn. So full marks for this. Breakfast: For vegeterians, was plenty to choose from. So we are happy with it. Ofcourse for non-vegeterians, maybe bit disappointing as there was no omlett/Wursts/HotDogs etc which you least expect. Staff: Overall good, except one incidence. A Guy with specs, from the kitchen area, talked rudely with us as we were taking photos of the food. He could have talked politely which is the first and utmost thing you expect in Germany. Other than him the all other staff members were good. ROOMs: The rooms were quite small because of extra Bed. We would like to mention that we were completely disappointed with the extra bed. It was big , agree, but it looked like it was a Sofa-Bed and had very large structure which took lot of room space. Exactly the way the others have complained here. The quality of the mattress was poor. The pillow quality was as well poor for this extra bed. The double bed was big enough but the qulity of the mattress can be better. Cleanliness: The room was in general clean except that certain areas needed immediate attention. For example the iron-pad had dust layers so decided not to use it at all. The toilet seat was from outside clean but the inner side was unattended and hence not clean enough. Next day the room service cleaned up the room but it was also not perfect. They only made the bedsheets. They did not bother to once clean the surface of bedsheets. Which we immediately noticed. Which is not expected from room service.

Spotless Clean. Every detail is well thought: I got an apartment with all possibile equipment one could wish for: heated floor in bathroom, wooden floor in the room. Dozen of all possible light type, high quality work space with full size desk, chair, and all kinds of plug-ins one can think about. Kitchen ideally equipped with a kettle, pans and utensils, sink and a fridge. Huge bathroom, full size wardrobe, big windows with blackouts, if needed. Radio silent at night. Wonderful breakfast. 10 minutes walk to Potsdamer Platz. Easy check in. Lovely staff! Will always stay here, whenever in Berlin. Thank you for your love of what you do.

Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Arrived late and had been told in advance that unfortunately there was no babybed for our child - however I was not told this until I had already paid for our stay. We chose the hotel, because they proclaimed to have private parking, but upon our arrival, the parking was sold out. So we started off with no bed for our child and no parking for our car. The staff was doing their job (yet, not going beyond expectation), so this horrible experience is not about them. They discussed if we should park in the alley behind the hotel, but agreed that it was not safe and recommended parking nearby (at the price of 25€ for one day). What made this stay horrible happened after arrival. We were given a room on the ground floor, which was 10 stairs up with no elevator and I was alone with three suitcases, a stroller and our child to carry up the stairs, while my husband tried to find parking. The room we entered smelled so bad that someone must have died in there. Or at least the room had not been cleaned for a while. There were long dark hair in the bed and dirt and grease on the floor. With no babybed our 2-year old had to sleep on a madres on this floor, since the bed was a bunk bed but with too little space for all three of us. The air condition was set to keep the room at a temperature between 18-22 degrees, however the room was freezing and we could not get the heat up. Finally the pillows were small and flat and we ended up checking out after only 7 hours at the hotel and with a minimum of sleep. So in short: would never, ever book this hotel again and advice you to find something else for your stay.
