The hotel is very good, although I have not seen the service staff, but everything is intimate. It is the best hotel to experience this trip. Highly recommended. In addition, Meijuan is especially worth staying to experience more.

Let me talk about the disadvantages first. When we just entered the hotel room, the sewer in the bathroom seemed to be under repair. A strong smell of stinky water came to our noses, so we immediately contacted the repairman to come over. He helped us to tidy it up and left, but I don’t know why this happened inexplicably. Is it the same for all Japanese hotels? Later, I asked the front desk and they said there were no other rooms. We had to turn on the air purifier for most of the day. Fortunately, there was no smell when we slept. Then, the location is indeed a bit far. We only stayed for one day. There was only a shuttle bus at 9:40 in the morning the next day. For convenience, we told the front desk that we would take this bus to leave the hotel before checking in, but I don’t know if the hotel forgot to make an appointment or register for us. The next morning, we went to check out on time and almost missed the bus back. (Thanks to my friend’s last-minute sprint, the driver waited for us for a while, and then left on time.) It is recommended to stay for at least two days to be more relaxed. Advantages, the location of the hotel is unique. It is right next to the Shirahige Falls. We can enjoy the scenery of the waterfall in the morning and evening. It should be the best location nearby. Then, the hotel's internal environment is also very unique. The lobby, restaurant, room, and even the elevator are all floor-to-ceiling windows, facing the snowy pine forest outside. My friends and I were very excited when we saw it. Then, the hotel provides free shuttle buses. There are two buses to the hotel and one to leave. Just get on the bus at Bus Stop No. 1 outside Asahikawa Station, which is very convenient. Then, the hotel's open-air bath is also great. It is real hot spring water. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to soak again in the morning when I was in a hurry to catch the bus the next day. Then, I want to praise the hotel's restaurant. We ordered breakfast and dinner. In addition to the common Western Japanese cuisine (all tasted very good), the grilled wagyu and sukiyaki for dinner were also very good. Finally, the hotel also provides an activity to watch the Qingchi at night (free). After the bus took us to the vicinity, we could see the lights of the Qingchi in a few minutes on foot. We played for 45 minutes on the return trip, and the experience was not bad. In summary, except for the sewer problem in the room on the first day, the hotel is very good in other aspects. There are not many guests, and the environment is quiet. It is quite suitable as a hot spring hotel for leisure and vacation. I heard that you may encounter little foxes nearby.

Excellent facility! We were warmly welcomed and helped with our luggage both for check in and check out and this is not something to be taken for granted, since it has happened to us very few times even in luxury facilities, so hats off! Wonderful location, surrounded by nature with the forest in part very suggestive. Entire facility and room very clean and well renovated in typical Japanese style with tatami, bamboo and many details of handcrafted wood work. Both public and private onsen (we had it in the room, outdoors directly on the snowy forest) dreamy; one of the most beautiful we have seen so far (we have already seen several always private and outdoors). The atmosphere you breathe is very intimate and familiar, it makes you feel at ease and pampered. Breakfast and dinner 7 out of 10, good but not excellent. The only negative note is the rigidity (typical of many Japanese) on the strict respect of the times: if you do not arrive on time for dinner and do not notify, you will not eat even if you have already paid for it, for the check out be careful because you will have to pay a supplement that will increase for every 10 minutes of delay. But, if you strictly adhere to their rules (as we did) you will have no problems and you will live a dream stay, even if a little stressful for us Italians with the impositions of the times especially. Overall, highly recommended!

Good location if you are not driving as it's very close to train station. Very clean. However, pillows are too flat. Double bed is too soft and uncomfortable. Unable to contact the owners when we have questions or need something.

This is the first time in Japan that I can give all hotels full marks! There are very few hotels in Biei. When I made the reservation, I thought the price was a bit high. It is the countryside after all. It feels good to actually check in. The two male waiters at the front desk are particularly good! I stored my suitcase and rented the hotel's bicycle to ride. Came back to check in in the afternoon and was very satisfied with the room. Details to the extreme. Such as a teacup. The mouthwash cups are all covered in plastic bags; the facial cleansers are all in one for washing the face and removing makeup; there is a safe for each person; the rod for hanging clothes is too thick, but two small hooks are thoughtfully provided; you can also print photos for free downstairs. . . . . The bus departed at 7:40 the next morning, and we discussed whether we could have breakfast earlier, and it was easy to communicate. It was the first time I saw the purple sunset in Japan. All kinds of good. . . .

The room is a bit old without air conditioning, the door can be opened and the fan can be used to attract the air-conditioning in the hall, the tatami and the pillow are old, but the proprietress is very friendly, and the dinner is very good value for 200 yen.
