There is a kitchen available and the living room is very spacious. It feels like living in your own home. The only pity is that there is no elevator and you need to carry luggage on the second floorđ€Ł
But generally speaking, it is highly recommended. There is also a curry pork chop rice restaurant nearby that is very deliciousđđ

It's a pity that there is no large communal bath, but it's a gem that doesn't cost 10,000 yen with breakfast despite the top season on Saturday, July 8, adjacent to Biei Station ïŒ âMichi no Eki Oka no Kuraâ. The room is small and simple, and it is glad that the bus toilet is independent. Before Corona, I was able to eat dinner at the ïŒ F restaurant, but the restaurant was still not open. There is a convenience store in front of the station, and there is a 7-Eleven about 5 minutes walk, so I made a delicious dinner with my favorite side dish  ingredients and alcohol. It is also good to base Furano sightseeing, Asahikawa sightseeing, and Tokachidake mountain foot sightseeing. You can enjoy all the sightseeing spots with plenty of room for 2 nights.

It was behind BIE station and it was close and nice !!
The room was comfortable and the bed sheets and toilets were clean :)

I normally donât do places with shared bathrooms by this was the most conveniently located accommodation near the train station. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how new it was and that breakfast was offered. I really enjoyed my stay and the English speaking staff. It is simple and the rooms are tight but it is worth it if youâre just trying to see the fields or the famous aoi ike/ blue pond. There is a bus nearby that will go by the pond and other sites. However the schedule is aggressive (only 15 minutes at the pond before the next bus leaves) so I suggest taking a taxi. They charge 7000 yen for 1.5 hours or 9500 for 2 hours since it takes a while to get there and back. Most taxis in town have this course that you can choose from.

The room is relatively simple and plain, but the hot spring from Daisetsu Mountain attached to the hotel has clear and pure water, which is smooth and delicate after washing.

We wanted to hike to Mt. Asahidake during the Koyo (Fall foliage) season, and among the properties at the base of the mountain, La Vista Daisetsuzan appeared to be the highest end accommodation in the area. Both the outside and inside of the lodge are charming and rustic in appearance, but are definitely showing clear signs of age and wear. In fact, while taking a dip in the communal Onsen (natural hot springs) bath, I overheard two men remarking how the place was âboro boroâ (Japanese for âreally worn down.â) Thankfully, we were relieved to find that La Vista Daisetsuzan was at least quite clean, and did not exhibit the old, moldy smell that is commonplace in older properties. And the dining room seems to have been renovated - we enjoyed our dinner here (more on that in a moment.) We stayed in their âLuxury Room,â the highest category unit that was a relatively spacious 56mÂČ open-plan Junior Suite. Other rooms on premises are quite a bit smaller, but people used to staying in standard rooms at Marriott-class properties will be more than satisfied with these room types. La Vista Daisetsuzan has a communal, gender-segregated Onsen on site - there is both an indoor and open-air outdoor bath, which is appreciated, especially in the Winter months, given that you'll want to warm up in the indoor bath before jumping into the outdoor one. While we did not have breakfast at the property (we wanted to get an early start on our hike, and we're glad that we did - the sky is more clear and there are less crowds), we had the French-Japanese dinner. To say that the meal exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. We're in Hokkaido, and an hour from the nearest city (Asahikawa), yet every dish was creative, beautifully presented and a feast for the eyes and palate. Everything - from the tuna tartare to the mini quiche to the Foie Gras to the al dente pasta with mushrooms and broccoli - was a highlight. The only serving that did not hit the spot was the main (ocean-) fish dish. The fish was hard and dry - when you're in the center of Hokkaido, perhaps they should focus on other ingredients, or at least serve fish that are fine frozen (like Tuna) or that come from the nearby rivers or lakes. Overall, if we were to make a return trip to the area, we would be more than fine with staying again at La Vista Daisetsuzan. In no way is this a destination unto itself, but if our short but pleasant stay is any indication, it's a very solid higher-end option in Daisetsuzan. It definitely blows away the vast majority of lodges in U.S. National Parks, that's for sure!
Spacious room, children went on the tatami sleeping on the futon. Lots of storage space too and plenty of amenities. Free coffee in lobby was nice and fresh from beans. We rang reception at 130am as next room guests were too loud and they resolved it. Close to JR train and bus station. Happy to recommend.
Hotel tried their best to help make our stay comfortable.

Staying at JR Inn Asahikawa was an absolute delight. This charming four-star hotel, conveniently located right next to the train station, offers not just comfort and convenience but also a unique touch of humor that makes for an unforgettable experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staffâs warm welcome and playful demeanor set the tone for our stay. The front desk team was efficient and knowledgeable, but what truly stood out was their knack for humor. One staff member joked about the weather being âspecially orderedâ for our arrival, a light-hearted touch that immediately put us at ease.
Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The view of the bustling train station was surprisingly tranquil, offering a unique blend of urban energy and serene comfort. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring.
Overall, JR Inn Asahikawa perfectly blends convenience, comfort, and a delightful sense of humor. The proximity to the train station makes it an ideal choice for travelers, and the wonderful staff ensures that your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. If youâre looking for a hotel that offers both excellent service and a

Jinkiskan Daikokuya and Izakaya Tenkin are all within walking distance... It seems like a suitable accommodation to go to Asahidake or Blue Lake Whitebeard Falls... Of course, the staff are friendly... I can't eat the late-night ramen provided by the hotel... There are good restaurants around. There's so much of it that my stomach hurts when I go to the hotel. I tried it one day and it's not bad. It's Soyu Ramen. I recommend the open-air bath and hot spring on the 10th floor.

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying in this B&B. I stayed in this B&B for the first time in 2017/10. It was very amazing. The whole B&B is made of wood, and the whole room exudes the fragrance of logs.
In addition to being very talkative, the owner of the B&B is also admirable for his thoughtfulness in preparing the meals.
The whole B&B exudes a warm atmosphere, making people feel like they are home~~
So this time I brought my friends to Biei for two nights, which was great.
I highly recommend this hotel to friends who come to Biei.
RRosaline ChengThe hotel is very good, although I have not seen the service staff, but everything is intimate. It is the best hotel to experience this trip. Highly recommended. In addition, Meijuan is especially worth staying to experience more.
