Bitez Hotels with Bars

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. There is pros and cons to this place. I wouldn’t say it’s a place for people that come from the UK or Ireland, unless you know fluent Turkish as their English is very little. Google translate was our saviour staying here. On the first night arriving to Bitez Gardens, we were told our room wasn’t ready and we arrived here for half past 12 at night. They had to put us into a family suite for one night. We were told someone would come and move us rooms by 11 AM. 11AM comes and still hasn’t been moved rooms when we had plans for the day we got there. We were told by 1 o’clock we would have our room. By one o’clock in all fairness we did get our room. However we were put into a room that faced where the kitchen staff were having their breaks. No view of the pool or the hotel building itself just a wall outside across from our balcony that looked onto the road to the hotel for their food and drink deliveries. Which to me felt a bit frustrating because we didn’t have a room when we arrived and to not even get a view of the pools and the hotel itself was upsetting especially travelling from Scotland. The room itself was kept in good condition housekeeping were kind and always made sure we had our little bins were emptied and they always made our beds or changed them. And they cleaned the floors as well regularly. The room does have a mini fridge, and a hairdryer. And a little tv. Air conditioning included also. The hotel has three swimming pools. In all fairness they kept the pools clean every night we seen maintenance using nets to collect any debris that was in the pool like leaves that fell from the trees and they put chemicals in the the pools so we were satisfied with the cleanliness of the pools. 10/10 with the swimming pools we loved the pools. If you’re not a cat person then this place might not be for you there is a lot of cats there and they are very friendly. However they are strays, and we noticed they pooed nearby the pool a lot. This is no one’s fault though the hotel does do its best to try and make sure there isn’t any mess which we did appreciate. The kitchen staff work really hard they are always running around serving people. The food is very limited but that being said it is cooked to perfection. I loved their food their Turkish meatballs or their homemade pasta was my absolute favourite the deserts are gorgeous I personally loved what they served, the only thing that was a shame was I think they need more space for more food, the times of the food being served could be managed better. And I’m saying this because they are meant to serve snacks from 2PM till 5PM and me and my friend noticed they’d not have food served through those times it was meant to be open so we would need to go to the shop if we were hungry. There was a lot of foreign people in this hotel staying, more like locals. And they were pretty rude to us, they wouldn’t just be nice even if you passed them and waved and says hello which a

A very nice play to stay in for a vacation/staycation. Comfortable to have a day-in at or to be a transactional place in between activities. Nice view of the sun movements and I’m in love with the builds of the hotel; unconventionally structured and very interesting. Lots of place to explore in the hotel alone and amenities are accessible and good. We stayed in during low-season and it was very peaceful. Breakfasts were not buffets because of that but they served us anything we could ask for generously and attentively. The concierges; Dokhan and Duygu served us a very friendly welcome and chats the whole time which helped us to get to know the area a lot too!

The star of this hotel is Sevgi, she worked prominently in the roof top pool bar, but also the restaurant and main bar at night time. She is a real asset, friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. She certainly made us feel welcome from the start and made our holiday. It's always nice to see a friendly face. We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, decided to go back to see what it was like now. The reception area had been upgraded and the room we had was a good size with a good view. This was a superior room. My daughter and her partner wasn't so lucky in a club room, this was very dated and in need of refurbishment and a good clean. However, Ali the on site rep was very helpful and got them moved into a more suitable room that was much better. He was always in reception in the mornings so if you needed him he was easy to find. If we ran out of anything in the room the cleaning staff as well as reception were very helpful. The food was very good, always plenty of choice and the restaurant staff were always busy refilling the dishes. The staff were pleasant and would chat and acknowledge you when you walked in the restaurant. The bar area in the evening was outside, usually plenty of seats and staff were good at getting chairs etc for people if needed. The downside was the entertainment which consisted of a DJ each evening, sometimes the music was too loud to talk. On the whole it was a good holiday, especially for the price we paid. Access to Bodrum is easy and cheap via regular minibuses that picked up outside the hotel. Although the hotel is tired and in need of some TLC in places it was a good value holiday.

What an absolute gem this hotel proved to be. Set back in a beautiful stone walled setting. You will find picture perfect arches with ornate potted trees and hanging flowers and climbing roses on your way to the reception point. The pool has an abundance of mature eucalyptus trees nestled around it and has high quality sunloungers with comfortable thick seat cushions that will satisfy anybody even those with mobility issues. The sand shingle beach is only a few steps away and a special long matting has been fitted into the sea making walking into bath a doddle. There are hammocks, thick cushioned swing chairs, sunloungers with parosals from the moment you hit the beach.we found this both relaxing and tranquil and spent alot of our time here during our day. The food at the restaurant was really good. Breakfast had lots of choice but please be aware this is more a continental Mediterranean affair, as is the evening meal. But if you are into your turkish/Greek type food you will love it. If you decide to eat in the outdoor restaurant you will not be disappointed the food is the best quality and the salmon pizza and huge burgers are above expectations. Our room had a brand new thick comfortable mattress, power shower and the storage was good. Fridge was good size and room cleaned daily. All the staff are happy to help and management take an interest if you have questions. We will definitely be coming back here again, the hotel is not massive but the ambience, the service and the whole experience was

We have been coming to ambrosia for 13 years and over this time we’ve seen some changes and this year was much better hotel seems to get better every year the only thing we didn’t like was the same breakfast everyday for 2 weeks which was Turkish breakfast, it’s lovely but not for us everyday, but we just went somewhere else for something different. I want to give a shout out to the staff on the front Ahmet Alalp and Genghis but also a lovely lad that made our beach day lovely by doing the simple thing like bring ice to keep our drinks cold (sorry can’t remember your name) and to a gorgeous young lady that started the same day we arrived she didn’t stop running around keeping everything tidy. The hotel is really worth its 3 stars, an ideal location 3 minutes from the beach, there is a minibus that walks just aside to go directly to the centre of Bodrum and is 35 minutes by taxi to the airport. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, very warm. The view of the room on the pool, the outdoor transactions, jacuzzi, the hotel restaurant was very good, the dream breakfast was excellent .... The manager and staff were very kind and comfortable , you feel really good and they are still in the small care . I really recommend a place that I will return without hesitation.
