Awful, not as advertised. Outside tatty, inside carpets very dirty, paintwork dirty and chipped, window overlooking flat roof covered in litter! Room extremely small not even enough floor space for a small suitcase. The pictures advertised are nothing like the place, avoid at all cost!

We stayed one night at the Blackpool Resort Hotel. We travelled with three dogs and a toddler between us. The parking was a bonus. Edward was amazing with our granddaughter! Thank you for being so responsive to her and for putting up with our excited dogs. You are a star! The bathrooms were lovely and clean, beds comfy and the bedding lovely and white. The walls are looking a little tired and could do with a refresh but all in all we had a great stay and for great value. We would return. Thank you for being so welcoming.

We stayed here for 2 nights, we got moved room due to the broken window in our room but other than that the hotel is lovely staff are beyond amazing. The bathrooms are tiny, a struggle for tall & plus size people due to the sinks being so big! Will definitely be back next time we visit Blackpool to see the completed refurbishment. Thank you!

We stayed for one night in family room and we wasn't impressed. Firstly the car parking is a stress, being blocked in and once your parked you can't move it. We arrived to check in at time we requested, room wasn't ready. Instead of saying sorry or making you feel welcome, i felt the staff was a bit abrupt and left me standing. No customer service, 'have a nice stay or did u enjoy your stay' was never even spoken. Then the room the windows was filthy, barely could see through them, cheap blinds that didn't cover properly, no bar to move blinds. No lamp in room, can't fill kettle with the current sink, we had ripped bedding. Worst of all the shower didn't work!!!!!! It was throwing out scolding water and trickle rate. We told them about this when leaving, no response from them. 😡 The doors to room are paper thin and I don't even think there proper fire doors, we could hear everything for other room. I don't often do reviews but I felt this hotel is lacking so many basics, we shouldn't let people pay the rates there charging. £231.40 a night isn't cheap.....

Booked 1 night away 2 adults 3 children and once we arrived decided to book an additional night. Super easy check in and parking was available at £10 which was right on the seafront so perfect. Room was very spacious with 2 double beds, a single and a large sofa! Beautiful views of the sea straight from the window and kids loved watching the lights on a night. Blinds weren't the best for blocking out light but to be honest this never bothered us. Bathroom was quite small but again for the sake of 2 nights this wasn't a problem. Everything was exceptionally clean, crisp white cotton bedding throughout. Kettle, coffee etc included. Paid for the breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Cooked fresh and tasty. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. For a weekend stay we as a family couldn't fault it.

What an amazing establishment this is! It has beautiful interiors which are kept to an utmost level of cleanliness and hygiene. The staff are all brilliant; so friendly, helpful and entertaining. All this and 110% pet friendly! We'll miss Millie the resident and special thanks to her owner for keeping me company. Thank-you to the whole team, we didn't want to leave!

I'd like to say "you get what you pay for" but we paid nearly £200 for one night so definitely wasn't the cheapest. Wasn't even worth £50 a night. It was filthy, cracks everywhere, carpet didn't fit properly, hallway dark and depressing, parking is horrendous, windows filthy. The staff don't even ask "how was stay" upon checking out as they probably know the response they're going to get. The pictures reel you in thinking it looks really nice but honestly it's beyond shoddy!! Spend your money elsewhere

The pictures of this hotel do not give a true reflection of what you find. The pictures look great but reality is extremely basic. Whilst it is apparent that some modernisation has tried to take place, it has not been achieved to a very good standard. The carpets are stained and dirty. The rooms are not clean with dirty windows and a LOT of hair present from previous guests. Shower pressure was terrible and the WiFi was non existent. Basic room facilities that were supposed to have been present were missing like lamps and hairdryer. Only some broken blinds at the window which didn’t shut properly or keep the light out. The parking was not worth the money. They should not allow so many cars to book to park as you have to block each other in. It’s really frustrating when you either have to move your car numerous times or equally frustrating when you are waiting to locate an owner when you need to get out. We were given incorrect information about being able to park on the empty hotel next door. I would highly recommend the pay and display car park less than 2 minutes down the road on the front, which actually works out cheaper. At least it is safe and you have a designated space without the worry of needing to move your vehicle. Breakfast was terrible. To start with the menu is extremely confusing. There is one menu of lighter breakfast options with prices. A second menu with no pricing, details continental and cooked breakfast options. When I asked a member of staff to confirm what the pricing was she had no clue and we heard her talking about us to another member of staff. We were made to feel like everything was too much trouble, even when asking for additional food for our children. The coffee machine was broken so we could only have the cold coffee from the poor continental breakfast table. The choices and quantities were minimal and the hot breakfast was not nice at all. We only had batches but to be honest, we wish we had gone to Wetherspoons down the road! We also witnessed the same member of staff rolling their eyes at another customer for simply trying to engage in morning conversation. She was extremely rude and perhaps should not be working in hospitality if she doesn’t enjoy serving and being friendly to people. All in all this is a basic hotel. Cleanliness and customer service needs improving somewhat. However, the location is excellent! Extremely well positioned for exploring south and central Blackpool. Price is reasonable and we were hopeful after reading reviews however, I would not recommend it to anyone and would absolutely not stay here again!
