St Elmo Hotel

Fantastic place, situated near south pier, the gentleman that runs this hotel is very helpful and his manners are just perfect. Would recommend a stay here.

Absolutely terrible no staff run this hotel over an hour and a half before a staff member even showed up no bar that has been taken away no breakfast due to no one running the place no hot water guests all fighting and moving to a different hotels luggage going missing the rooms are disgusting under the beds there’s McDonald’s wrappers old bottles and god knows what else tiles in bathroom are all broken and filthy defo not a place to take your family

The hotel is pleasant and clean and staff were nice but unfortunately that's were the good ends, our hotel room was a reasonable size however the toilet almost flooded every time we flushed it, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and we were only given 3 pillows and the room information stated more would be in the wardrobe but there wasn't any others. The bathroom extractor fan came on at midnight when we turned on the light and it didn't go off and then to end what was quite frankly a terrible sleep we were woken up at 7:50am on a Sunday morning but the fire alarm going off and there wasn't any fire!!

With only a few hundred feet to the waterline, I easily found way there. Arriving late, I was welcomed by a friendly host, and delegated a cozy and comfortable single room - even with a small snack upon arrival. While the ocean-view would be the other side of the building, I got to enjoy looking at the local church and the city-scape. It was really incredibly cozy.

This has got to be hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. 20+ of us stayed here, on arrival no one about to check us in, waited 30 minutes to be greeted by a woman who handed out all our room keys out of a plastic carrier bag. Went to our room and omg I've attached pictures as I've literally not seen anything like this, it was absolutely disgusting. I went and complained she gave me multiple choices of rooms and let me pick the one that suited us, was the best of a bad bunch but was a bit cleaner than the last, we thought well it's only for 1 night. Rooms are not professionally cleaned at all it's just 1 woman trying to do everything herself. Honest review is scroll on from this hotel I know it's cheap but if it was for more than 1 night and I wasn't on a hen night I would have walked straight back out. There is no bar and no dining area either.

This has to be the worst hotel in Blackpool if not its in the top 1. wallpaper coming off the walls plastic lamps broken ,kettle was nowhere near a plug socket ,dirty rooms doors falling off wardrobes when i contacted them for a refund or some explanation all they offered me was a discount on my next stay , absolutely not on you life . if you want disappointment you are guaranteed with this hotel.

We had seen enough reviews to know what we were getting. Pay cheap, get cheap. It’s far from 5 star luxury of home but who really cares when it’s just for sticking your head down after a night out. Place is run down, still dated in the early 80s. Easily the best place in Blackpool for a cold shower and a solid throw back to the box room you stayed in at your mum and dads. Only major downside to the place is it’s absolutely covered in rangers stickers from when Hendrik Larsson was making a mockery of them and before their hilarious entrance into administration. If the hallways still stink of garlic bread, we can only apologise. Also, if you were the family we accidentally knocked up at 2-3am…. We apologise, however, we’re still looking for our mate scouse…

Dirty, smelly and breaches of health and safety! This hotel was disgusting I will add photos do not book here I have complained to the hotel awaiting response. Yes it is a cheap hotel but still minimal levels of cleanliness are not met the shower tray has not been cleaned in months. Stairs to room have not been hoovered in months, bathroom door did not close as no latch. There where two chairs in the room both covered in stains lots and lots of stains the pictures will show this. DO NOT STAY HERE I was not the only one thinking this as upon arrival another women was complaining also

Just run! Don’t stop! Sleep in your car! Other than being absolutely horrified when I walked in, I really don’t know what to say other than, they had a cheek to charge £80 for a night, we were daft enough to pay it! But could I heck find anyone to have it out with! Pictures speak for themselves! Wallpaper taped on to the wall! Blinds……..or bits of blind were disgusting! Handrail for the shower come off in my husbands hand within 10 seconds of getting in it, the actually metal shower come off and smacked me on the head! Remote for the tiny box on the wall nowhere to be seen! I’m assuming it was a tv! But it was clearly older than me! Trying to sit on the toilet……….i had to fold myself up like a deck chair, and when I did manage to sit down my love lumps on my chest were resting in the sink it was that cramped in there! BAFFLED! Sweet and biscuit wrappers stuffed behind the radiators! Cold! Grim! Just don’t!
