Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen aber sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Das Zimmer war gross, im alten Madeirastil eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein 2-Bett-Zimmer, die Betten waren sehr schmal die Matratze sehr hart. Badezimmer war sauber und mit Dusche und Bidet. Wir haben 2 mal dort im Garten am Abend gegessen, was ganz gut war. Der Garten ist sehr schön und mit vielen Liegeplätzen ausgestattet, das Hallenbad ist auch sehr schön und gepflegt. Beim Frühstück könnte besser nachgefüllt werden, die Brötchen müssten aufgebacken werden, sie sind weich und laberig. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist mager. Der Kaffee ist schlecht.
Die Angestellten sind freundlich und bemüht. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhsnden.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our walking holiday. What a great location. Both nights our dinner was included. There is a fabulous indoor pool which was a welcome treat after our walks. Lovely bedrooms and we slept well. We ordered pack lunches and these were super.

We spent a week in the hotel. It is very pretty and clean, you get a great indoor pool and jacuzzi, staff is friendly and the food in the restaurant is good. You find at least 3 other good restaurants within a 10 minute driving distance. It is quiet and there is not much going on at night but you can play pool or play all sorts of board and card games. The garden is beautiful too and you always find a parking space.

Très bel hôtel traditionnel. Situé au calme . Chambres confortables, spacieuses et propre . Piscine et jardin agréables. Personnel sympathique et serviable . Nous étions en demi pension , le petit déjeuner est simple mais il y a l'essentiel. Pour le dîner les repas étaient bons, très copieux peut être trop pour nous.

Smaakvol ingericht, netjes, personeel vrijwel allemaal aardig.
Wat ik minder vond waren de blaffende honden in de nacht(van het hotel zelf notabene) Een persoon bij de balie sprak geen engels en bleef alles maar in portugees herhalen. En ik miste een airco. De prijs is natuurlijk niet hoog maar het ligt dan ook in een omgeving waar je zonder auto niks kan.

Great hotel enjoyed every moment of my stay. Clean and comfortable and staff were really friendly and welcoming. Restaurant staff were really helpful and provided a good service, breakfast and dinner were both great with a good selection of food.

L'hôtel se situe dans une maison de charme, totalement rénovée avec le confort moderne. Les chambres sont propres et la literie est confortable. Il y a une piscine, que nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de tester : nous avons favorisé la randonné à proximité.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel vaut également le détour.
En somme : c'est une bonne adresse où séjourner dans la région
