My time in Selina was pretty good! It is greatly decorated with very nice vibes. Great breakfast and great staff. I was placed on the top floor and, because it rained, the ceiling started to leak. The staff offered me to move to another room, to which I was extremely pleased. I also signed up for a therapeutic massage offered at the hostel, and it is a MUST!!! My doctor was Dr. Julio González and he was outstanding. Definitely will stay in Selina next time I’m in Bogota.

My second time staying at an Ibis; LOVE these properties. The rooms are very basic but you'll have what you need. The property is fun and stylish, staff was helpful (including arranging midnight airport transportation for us) and there's a full service bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of dishes; I wish hotels in the US offered breakfasts like this! The National Museum right across the street is well worth a visit and you're a short drive to Monserrate and Candelaria.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. Hotel located between Bogota and Cota in the heart of a large industrial area and the facts are indicated for those who travel to Bogota for work and not for tourism because because of traffic it is very challenging in terms of time to reach the center. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, and is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel is a little noisy and for this, I advise the high floors. I was the second floor and asked to be moved to the 5th floor. There is nothing in the area but a small shop and to move it is compulsory to use taxis that are not always easy to get.

Good quality hotel for the price. The customer service people were very nice, and can speak some English. The rooms are spacious, with fridge, snack bar, free bottle of water, and really love how comfy the bed is. The location is also great, there is a grocery store, and some nice restaurants just next to it.

DO NOT COME HERE. Terrible experience from start to finish. Booked a room online that included breakfast. When we arrived we paid in full and were informed that breakfast would be an extra $30,000 COP/ Per person/ per night only after we had paid already. When we explained that our rate included breakfast we were met with confrontation explaining that was not the case even though we showed them the website where it said it was included. It was late at night so we went to bed being they said they would have someone call in the morning to resolve this. After waiting and receiving no phone call we called ourselves. After a 20 minute phone call with the front desk explaining that we booked online and THEIR website says breakfast is included, we were told “our rate was too low” and there was absolutely nothing they were willing to do for us. Also, the walls are so thin in the rooms that you can hear your neighbors conversations clearly, constant noise from the city, the rooms have terrible Wi-Fi, and the room seems to shake when you close the door. Overall bad customer service, bad Wi-Fi, bad rooms. Avoid at all costs.

Some of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked. Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.) I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.) Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind. I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.

The hotel service is very professional. All the staff are professional and sincere. They have warm smiles and thoughtful service. All the details are in place. The cleaning staff and drivers are very polite and comfortable. The breakfast is also very good. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the old town, which is very convenient. I generally don't like to make comments, but this hotel makes me unhappy.
