The hotel is near a forest and the air is very fresh! The facilities are new and every place is cleaned very clean! The breakfast buffet is great! The handsome guy at the front desk is very enthusiastic! Must give five-star praise

森林裏的酒店，入住率不高，幾乎沒有服務可言，説個hello都很敷衍。給了一個邊角的房間，一邊還有很大的三角柱。給了停車ticket，最後還要收停車費20歐，也是沒搞明白。

Buchung konnte bedauerlicherweise nicht storniert werden, obwohl die Stornierung eine Stunde nach der Buchung in Auftrag gegeben wurde. Das Hotel selbst kann ich nicht bewerten, daher neutral und die negative Bewertung für den Service bezieht sich lediglich auf den "Veranstalter", der weder die Stornierung inklusive voller Kostenerstattung akzeptiert hat, noch mit einem Vergleichsangebot auf mich zugekommen ist, um den Verlust wenigstens teilweise zu kompensieren. Das kann von mir und auch firmenintern nur negativ gewertet werden. VG, Vincent Rozkov

Location: perfect near to city center Room : spacious and all things you need available nice bathroom but the airco is a shared one with other rooms and is loud and not able to cool the room . Is in general a problem with many hotels that the airco’s in older hotels can not cope with hotter summers. Pool: top Fitness: top Breakfast: many things excellent but to improve to really high level: use real oranges for juice. Increase the choices for bread. Baked eggs on one cooking point where people can choose what they want on top. This will move it to next level Restaurant: food was very good Bar: nice outside Service; staff always friendly and trying but the restaurant sometimes is understaffed so it takes a long time. Roller or steps: did not work for me not any of them and i know a lot about apps and it. Reception also could not help. Advice: i understand that repairs need to be done but do not repair with a lot of noise during breakfast time. Maybe this will help

The website information was incorrect. They don't have a pool and they don't have a gym. There are no amenities aside from the room and the breakfast buffet. It's a hard place to get to through public transit. It is not worth the price. Hotel looks old when you arrive. Not a good arrival experience

We booked this hotel as we were driving and wanted somewhere we could park easily with easy access to Bonn. The room was very comfortable, with very wide beds, and quiet. The wifi worked very well. We had breakfast, which was a wide variety although we had to wait ages for fried eggs to be cooked and there were few people staying at the time. We had to ask several times for them. We also had dinner there. The antipasti platter at 16.50 was delicious and the mushroom stroganoff at 14.90 was a good size portion and very delicious. The pumpkin soup at 9.50 was very tasty and the fillet steak at 39.50 was very good but rather pricey for outside Bonn especially as you pay extra for each vegetable.

Stayed in the Dorint Venusberg for a weekend. Location about 4 km by car from Bonn City Center. From the terrace there is a wonderful view to the city and the surrounding hills, nice location to relax after a busy day. A car is recommended, it is too far outside to walk into the city, I believe public transport is available. Easy check Inn and Check Out. The rooms were fine, nice bathroom, everything was clean. Minibar was empty in both rooms. Good breakfast with a lot of choices. Would recommend this hotel for all travellers, even though it is a bit out of the center and you will need transport to get anywhere.

Not the easiest place to find, but nicely situated in a quiet location outside of the main city area, with plenty of parking space. Friendly welcome at reception and easy check-in. Room was large and very clean. A lovely shower with plenty of water pressure. There was no bar service the night we stayed, but it was possible to get a drink with dinner. Food was good, but service rather slow.... very long delay between first and main courses and prices rather on the high side. Skipped breakfast, as it's hard to imagine what can justify a charge of 24euro a head to partake. Overall a good stay though, with friendly service and a good night's sleep.

Nice hotel with a very good breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel is a plus too. But the fact that we had to wait more than 2 hours in order to access our room was a big no no. And, except a simple apology nothing was made to help us forget this incident or make our stay more comfortable. The cleaniness of the room, especially the bathroom was not done properly either. The bathtub was always brownish, never white and you could feel the dirt with your feet.

Hotel is located in a quiet forest area, a 20 minute busride to the city center. Busstop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, runs every 30 minutes even on weekends. We travelled with a group of 8 people and had different rooms, amongst them junior suites, single rooms and standard rooms. The suites were well equipped, with large bathroom and 'salon'. One suite however did not have a TV in the bedroom only the salon, the other suite did have 2 TV's. Single rooms were attic rooms, quite small, dark and not very attractive. Pillows were plenty and thick, mattress however to hard for my liking. Although the hotel tablet mentioned all rooms were equipped with a (free of service) coffee and tea bar, only the suites had one as told by the receptionist. False advertising and the solution offered by reception was to ask for hot water from the hotel bar, which by the way was not open the entire weekend. Closed on Friday evening and reserved for a private party on Saturday. Unacceptable; all paying hotel guests should have access to the displayed facilities. The Basilico hotel restaurant is another one for the books. Terrible service, had to wait about an hour to get our meal with only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Price/quality the worst I've seen in a long time. Most of us left the table hungry, but no surprise when there's only 3 baby potatoes on your plate, cut in half to make your plate look full ... On the upside, breakfast buffet was quite nice. Good variety of meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurt, lachs, meatballs, eggs, etc. Previously they had a hot station where eggs were made 'à la minute', but probably cancelled now because of covid. Bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and shower in one. Only had 1 large towel and smelled horrible, but housekeeping in the hallway solved this very quickly and extremely friendly. Incomprehensible that none of the 5 rooms we've stayed in had hot water in the shower/bath, it was lukewarm at best whether morning or evening. Don't count on the WIFI either, very unreliable. Overall, I've stayed in hotels of the Dorint chain before with less stars but far better service, better rooms and most of all, better food price/qualitywise.

Prachtig groot hotel in een natuurpark, waarin je zalig kan wandelen, echter zonder uitgestippelde routes. Het is er heel rustig en stilletjes. Aangename kamer, enkel spijtig dat je van de goodwill van de receptie afhangt ofdat je een kamer met of zonder balkon krijgt. Wij hadden dus tegenslag, onze kamer was op het derde verdiep, vlak onder een schuin dak. Gelukkig werkte de airco uitstekend. Comfortabel bed met een goed hoofdkussen, grote badkamer met een bad, waarop ook een scherm staat zodat je kunt douchen (toch een gevaarlijke situatie, er is geen antislip voorzien). Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, diner en wijn is beperkt in keuze en duur. Indien je op de dag van aankomst ter plaatse wil dineren, moet je zorgen dat je 's morgens al gereserveerd hebt. Spijtig dat er vooraan het hotel niet enkele banken staan om te kunnen genieten van het goede weer en de rust. Er staan enkel tafels en stoelen achteraan het hotel. Centrum van Bonn is 10 minuten rijden met de auto.

Doods hotel. Bar en wellness gesloten. Wellness zogezegd in renovatie maar als je er binnen wandelt, zie je dat alles leeg staat en al maanden-/jarenlang niet meer gebruikt werd. Ligt er volledig verwaarloosd bij. Zelfs de gebruikte handdoeken liggen massaal nog op de massagetafels. Kortom vuil rondom rond en alle elektriciteit in de wellness werd afgekoppeld. Het restaurant is zogezegd gerenommeerde keuken maar heeft meer weg van een brasserie. Wat geserveerd werd was wel lekker, maar er was geen keuze en als je vraagt naar champagne en/of kasteelwijn was deze totaal niet meer te verkrijgen. Personeel in het restaurant loopt te zuchten omdat ze moeten werken en kijken constant op hun horloge om te kijken wanneer ze mogen sluiten. Hotel is dus zeker geen 4 sterren waard en zal, mijn inziens, waarschijnlijk ook niet lang meer bestaan. Nee, voor ons geen Dorint meer. Is al 2de keer dat we in Dorint slecht varen. Ander Dorint hotel waar we geweest zijn, is ondertussen ook al gesloten. Jammer !

Het hotel straalt geen beetje gezelligheid uit. Bij aankomst valt meteen op hoe doods het is. Bij het betreden van de kamer een sok gevonden op de grond. Wordt hier wel gestofzuigd? Tablet met hotelinformatie werkte niet. Tv met zenders in alle talen Duits (uiteraard), Frans, Engels, Pools, Russisch, Arabisch... maar geen enkele Nederlandstalige zender. Pianobar gesloten. Welness in renovatie dus gesloten. Restaurant met een 5 tal gerechten. Drankenkaart povertjes. We hadden half pension. In 3 dagen telkens dezelfde gerechten aangeboden gekregen. het mooie zicht vanaf het terras waarvan sprake op de website is er niet meer gezien de haag rond het terras veel te hoog is. Agressieve wespen van zodra je buiten wil eten. Het personeel zet hiervoor potjes met brandende koffie op de tafels. Resultaat na het eten mag je douchen en zijn je kleren goed voor de wasmachine. Vreselijk en dat heeft dan 4 sterren. Toen we met ons kleine hondje binnen wilden ontbijten omdat het slechts 15 graden was mocht dit niet. Pas na een hoogoplopende discussie mochten we uiteindelijk toch binnen zitten. Ons hondje stoort zeker niet. Het is een klein hondje en zit onder tafel. Je krijgt gewoon stress in dit hotel in plaats van je te kunnen ontspannen. De volgende dag was het nog steeds koud en zijn we met een bang hartje gaan ontbijten. Gelukkig zag men ons niet binnenkomen en konden we plaatsnemen en ons hondje meteen onder tafel verstoppen. Even later kwamen andere mensen ook met een klein hondje en die konden meteen binnen plaatsnemen zonder opmerkingen. Vreselijk om zo behandeld te worden. We kwamen graag in Dorint hotels maar door deze voorvallen is dat voorbij. Vanaf nu geen Dorint meer en al zeker niet meer in Bonn. Dit hotel maakt het ook voor de andere hotels kapot. Niet te verwonderen dat er slechts een paar kamers bezet waren en er zo goed als niemand in het restaurant kwam eten. Het tegendeel zou me verbaasd hebben. Het ontbijt was het enige dat min of meer de Dorint kwaliteit had. Hoewel de warme gerechten de laatste dag ijskoud waren. Blijkbaar was men vergeten om de warmte lamp aan te zetten. Wat een geklungel toch. Hopelijk ziet het managment binnenkort ook in hoe slecht ze bezig zijn, anders is er niet veel hoop meer voor dit hotel
