Hotels Near Scharnhorst-Apotheke in Bremen

I loved my time at Best Western!! I stayed here for 8 days with my wife and son and we found the apartment large and comfortable. The location is ideal and is just a few hundred metres away from Hauptbahnoff, the main train station and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. There is a large REWE supermarket across the main road but beware that it's closed on Sundays. From the airport, it's a 20 minutes taxi ride to this place and will cost 20 euros. Breakfast was included in my package at an extra cost but the spread was disappointing and the menu was the same everyday. As it was Christmas time, the hotel was packed with travellers and it was also difficult finding a table in the mornings. But the staff were very friendly and warm. Bremen also has one of the best Christmas markets in Germany and its about 4 tram stops away from Best Western. But it's also easily walkable and it takes about 10 minutes.

The laundry cost 5 euros, which is fine but I was disappointed that when I was told I could get the laundry at five pm, when I arrive at the laundry room it wasn’t ready. The location is about five minutes walk from the central train station. If you arrive very late at night, I recommend staying highly vigilant. Better have company if you really need to go out at night. The staff is very friendly. But there’s a sign in from of the hotel that says don’t bring any firearms or knife there. Wonder what happened before the sign was erected. The room that was assigned to me didn’t face a highway, and I was able to use the microwave and the fridge in the hotel It’s about 5 minutes walk to the museum and about 15-20 mins walk to downtown center. A very good location for business people.

Moin! We were here from 27. to 29.03.23 to meet the beautiful Hansestadt Bremen. To explore the city of Bremen quickly and without complications, the B&B Hotel is excellent. You can reach the center conveniently without means of transport. The hotel itself is modernly furnished, very clean and breakfast buffet very good and tasty. I stayed at the ACHAT Plaza for just 1 night (thankfully) and then moved to a service apartment the following day. The hotel is situated very close to Hauptbahnoff, the central train station in Bremen and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. It's about 15 minutes away from the airport and costed me 20 euros by taxi. My check-in process was very smooth but the real problem started when I entered my room. I was given room number 324 and upon entering, I realised that the carpet was totally damp. It was completely soggy and was difficult to walk around the room barefoot. I informed the staff and a lady promptly arrived to check. When she realised the problem was genuine, she informed me that the previous occupant was probably careless while having a shower and thus the water had come outside. She couldn't answer my questions as to how the whole room might be wet if this was the case. I suspected that it could be a seepage problem but she was adamant that that wasn't the case. When I requested to be given another room, I was informed that the hotel was completely booked and there were no spare rooms. I was quite sure this wasn't the case but I couldn't do much. The lady, whose name was Irina [-], apologised profusely for the inconvenience and offered me a complimentary drink and desserts. As there was nothing else for me to do, I accepted the offer and went down to the restaurant and was then informed that I could only have a glass of champagne and a chocolate mousse dessert. Nothing else was complimentary and I was not given any choice. The mousse itself was tasteless and it appeared that I was being discouraged from ordering anything more. I was so disgusted by this time that I even went to another restaurant nearby for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was an entirely different matter and the spread was large and the food was very delicious. However, the hotel was understaffed and dirty plates and cutlery weren't cleared even after people had left their tables. I checked-out after this and Irina again apologised sincerely but I was quite happy to be leaving the place.

The postives: room size, terrace, quality bedding, quite varied breakfast, possible late breakfast and check-out, friendly staff, TV, free bottle of water. The negatives: · The room was 32 degrees hot when we arrived shortly after noon. There was no air conditioning. With the windows open, it only cooled down to 27.50 degrees in the evening. Have to leave windows open all night and fan on to get some sleep. In the morning we noticed that the tap of the sink was loose and skewed, the cap of the sink drain was also closed and could not be opened, so the water couldn't ran away. The make-up mirror also hung half loose. There was a lot of ****s on the terrace on the fifth floor. After reporting this to the reception and we were offered a larger room at the front of the hotel (their suite) because they couldn't fix the tap. It was slightly less warm due to its location, but still fairly warm to be able to sleep in. Also no air conditioning here, but only a fan. Of the six windows, three of the curtains at the top were broken, so the light comes in very early, already at 5:30 am, which means that you can no longer sleep well. Because this room was at the front, sleeping with the windows open was not an option due to the heavy traffic (cars, trams, emergency services). For 125 euros per night we found this a disappointment. Maintenance and inspection in general could be better, e.g. a broken coat rack, throw it away, a broken tap, replace it, broken curtains, replace them, etc...

Close to the bus stop, not very near city center but its jus 15 min walk Nice staff which are friendly However, the room is full of mosquito! We saw over 20 mosquitoes in 3 days! The wall is also thin and i can hear ppl partying and watching loud tv shows or video next door from the ventilators

At Motel One Hotels you know what one expects: not too much, but also not too little. I was in the framework of a service trip at Motel one Bremen. Friendly check in and nice staff. Breakfast with good quality and selection. Personal in both nights a little muu at the bar, unfortunately not a pill from the box, but only from the bottle. Rooms very clean in the usual standard. Hotel very well reachable with train right in front of the door and a cat jump to Weser/Battle.

Hotel a tema spaziale, in ottima posizione per visitare il centro della città (distante 5 minuti a piedi). Lungo la strada supermercati e bar. Il personale è molto gentile, le norme igieniche rispettate. La nostra camera, così come il bagno, era piuttosto piccola, ma funzionale, pulita ed originale. Perfetta per un breve soggiorno. Io lo consiglio molto.

The cars did not give any exchange, and the money was decayed after each purchase, which was corrected the day after by one of the friendly staff, and the breakfast was well served on request. Leave check-in was also no problem and it could all be automatically entered through a code, then the door opens automatically.

I stayed at Niu Crusoe between 27 september to 1st October after booking ”any where” at relatively short notice following the birth of my Grandson in Bremen a week before. I was concerned when i reaslised how close it was to the airport and the noise there may be. I need not have worried as although the terminal is 6 minutes walk away the sound proofing means you hear nothing, as long as window closed and even when its open very little. The hotel is 12 mintues tram ride from Bremen central station and trams run every 15 minutes. The tram stop is a very short walk from Nui. When i arrived i wasnt sure that it was the correct place as Crusoe is not mentioned in the signage. The desk staff were helpful and friendly and one went above and beyond by coming to my room 321 to try and sort theTV for me. Thank you. If you dont require fesh towels and bedding you are given a drink voucher for a coffee/tea/small beer/smal glass of wine, I enjoyed that and the male staff member who explainned it to me was lovely, very chatty and a credit to the hotel. I didnt catch his name and i regret that. Thank you The room was clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of space for what i needed. Free wifi and a link on TV to access the fim library. No English speaking channels so that was great. I was anxious about travelling with all its new hoops to jump through but was settled as soon as i arrived there. Would definatley recommend.
