Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tulsa S Broken Arrow Hwy 51

We stay here often, we have family that we come to visit about every month or two and we rent 2-3 rooms. Always the family and kid suites when available, I recommend these room types if you are traveling with kids and need a spacious room. We always stay here so I'm posting from TripAdvisor instead of my IHG member app as I normally do to protect my identity. I don't want any animosity for future stays, I love the cleanliness of the hotel rooms and the breakfast is always good and most of the staff is wonderful! I NEVER thought I would ever consider staying somewhere else but with the recent change in management the atmosphere has changed as well. The new manager (Linda?) has come off as aggressive, not to myself but to the people that checked in ahead of us and then I overheard a conversation between her and Am”ie” while I waited at the counter for a good couple of minutes before either of them noticed me. Their ”private” conversation wasn't very kind, as I listened it seemed they were mocking a guest. I can also tell the difference in the employees that have been there for a while. They are always welcoming and professional, very friendly and eager to make our stay perfect. But when I would bring up Magda or Drake (I have known them both for years) the mood changes and they just don't seem as happy as before. It's actually really sad to see. I am giving 1 star only even though this hotel is worth 5 but I really had an issue with my last 2 stays and this is what the lack of stars is based on. Amie ”with an IE” Amie ”with an IE”. Am”ie” is really nice, to nice! She is very flirty with men and based on some of the reviews on the hotels website I think that's how she gets them. Her name has uncommon spelling, if it wasn't for her constantly telling my husband as we walked past the frontdesk that her name is spelled A-M-I-E I would have automatically spelled it ”Amy”. Every chance she had she would directly flirt with him. It made me very uncomfortable. We tried to avoid using the front doors as much as possible but of course the side door only worked when it felt like it. I thought I was being to sensitive until some family members came back to visit after dinner and witnessed the interaction between ”Amie IE” while her coworker fixed our keys and he later joked in the elevator that she was fishing for attention. Don't get me wrong Amie seems nice but I feel like she is only interested in getting good reviews by asking and reminding of the spelling of her name and all her reviews are from men just back up my assumptions. There was also a person complaining at checkout on Sunday that somebody had gone into their room the evening before on saturday AFTER they checked in and left a greeting card. They said they had personal items laid out in the room (it sounded like they were here for a romantic evening) and didn't expect or give permission for anybody to enter their room. They were creeped out and had said they wanted to cancel their stay but couldn
Quality Inn Broken Arrow - Tulsa

Just needed a decent affordable room for a few nights & Quality Inn fit the bill. It was clean, quiet, no frills, which is exactly what we were looking for. There were only two things that could have made it better - if the ice machine worked & if they had an elevator. Don't bring much luggage because you will have to haul it up the stairs if your room is on the 2nd floor. All in all we had a great stay & would definitely stay there again.

While entering and leaving the elevators, my husband was slammed 3 different times with the closing door. He held his hand in front of the door, which should have stopped it, but it didn't stop until it hit his arm. He is a big man and wasn't injured bad, but I would worry about children and elder adults being knocked down by such a situation!

BED BUGS!!! I checked in to the EconoLodge in Broken Arrow on 5/14/21, was given the keys to room 134. Opened 134 and one mattress was on its side, and other furniture moved around. I called the desk and told her the room wasn't ready. She brought keys to the room next door, 136. First to note was the beds were not comfortable, lumpy, and hard and the shower has mold around the wall seams. Around 5am my mom wakes from her sleep with BED BUG bites all over her arms, neck and face. I called the front desk and she proceeded to bring me keys for a room further down the hall. The ac was on in the room attempting to mask the smell of smoke in the room. We decided quickly not to continue our stay there and had to check in to another hotel down the road for out last few hours. I was told the manager would be in at 7am, so I was surprised when I checked back at 10am that she would not be in because she was on vacation in Vegas with no one left in charge. I demanded a that she be notified immediately and to call me that day. As of Today, 5/24/21, I have not received a call about this horrible experience. I suspect they knew about the bed bugs and that is why the 1st room we were given was upended. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
