Not a 4 star hotel. Floor so unclean I didn't want to take my shoes off, bed sheets stained, worst shower water pressure I've ever seen. Feels like they've ticked some boxes (toiletries, slippers, room service etc) to appear higher quality.

A bit drab on arrival and the staff are not the friendliest. Good sized room that was clean and had all the amenities needed - other than tea and coffee facilities. Good air con and great lighting. Restaurant closed two out of three evenings, food was mediocre. Breakfast limited to eggs, local sausages, bacon and cubes of quiche on the hot buffet. Rolls, sliced bread and cheese and ham selection on cold buffet. Salad, olives, yoghurt and cereals. Fruit squash rather than juice. Decent been to cup coffee machine. Good location, 20 minute walk to the old town. 40 minute drive to the airport. Don’t expect typical 4 star standards here, at best this is a 3 star but it was clean and comfortable.

I stayed at the hotel in April with a tourist group. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the walls of the Parliament Palace. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is even better for a city hotel. The breakfast was also extremely satisfactory. However, there is no water in the minibar in the room. When I went to the reception and asked, they suggested the tap, but I didn't try it. Another issue may be related to the location of my room. It overlooked the car park and there were young people chatting very loudly at night. Except for these two situations, it was absolutely perfect.

The hotel was budget accommodation. We were part of a Travel Marvel group who had completed a 3 day extension after a river cruise. Our tour guide was so embarrassed about the standard of the hotel she bought a box of tissues for each room the group used as the hotel does not supply them. There were no tea making facilities in the room or water supplied or available to buy.

Came in for a late check in, Anca the front office agent , was very helpful, fast and very professional. She explained the schedule for the bars the breakfast, even asked me if i wanted a “to go bag” or i dont know how to call it for my breakfast due to the fact that i just said i might miss it. Great job Anca if it wasn’t for you I would have went to the next hotel few meters away.

Myself, my partner and my 12 year old visited Bucharest for 3 nights last week. First of all, the hotel reception was an attractive space, scrupulously clean. The staff we encountered were all excellent English speakers and gave the impression they were very helpful ( although I'll revisit this later in the review). We arrived at almost midnight and were checked in swiftly and efficiently. When we got to our room it was clean, modern and in good condition. However we immediately discovered there were only 2 single beds, two lots of bedding and 2 lots of towels when we had booked for a pair of adults and a 12 year old girl. My partner went to reception and was told ( not at the time of check in) that the hotel was very full and they didn't even have a spare fold out bed for the night, however they would remedy that the next day as they would move us to another room. We then had to ask for an additional pillow and set of towels which was swiftly delivered to the room. We decided to turn the beds sideways and push them both together and we all just shared the makeshift bed. Our safe also didn't have a key and when we asked about this the woman at reception sent us back to check if there was a key, and said she would get it sorted, but that did not happen so we had to carry all our valuables ( passports and cash) with us at all times and take our chances leaving iPad etc in the room. The beds themselves were again scrupulously clean and very comfortable. There were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was served 7am til 10am and was a fresh and delicious continental breakfast, with something for everyone, (although some less typical options such as pasta, chocolate mousse, and mixed vegetables!) Because we were only staying 3 days and wanted to see the city we made the decision to not pursue the change of room on the morning after night one, because check out time wasn't until noon and we didn't want to have to hang around all day and waste our time in Bucharest waiting for someone else's room to be ready for us to move in to- however the staff did not contact us to ask if we wanted moving to the correct room, and seemed happy to just ' forget' that we were squeezing 3 large people into 2 single beds. On day two something happened with our toilet and it kept trickling water continously- again we went to reception and the lady said she would ask someone to come and sort it- my partner observed her speaking to the handyman on the phone, however when we returned that night the room had been cleaned but the toilet was still trickling, so my partner went back to reception and was told someone would be right up- however this didn't happen and we had to spend the entire night listening to the toilet trickle. On day 3 we were leaving, and the reception were happy to allow us to leave our suitcase behind reception until we had to leave in the evening- however this is advertised as a left luggage room, and there didn't appear to be a room, j

Good hotel. Clean and convenient. Breakfast was good with fresh produce. Don’t expect full English it’s Romanian version as it should be. Room cleaned every day and fridge filled with drinks and snacks at cheap price. Used Uber taxis to get around city very cheap and safe.

We stayed here as part of a package deal with Travelpedia for 2 nights while visiting the Peles & Bran Castles. We arrived late on the Friday night & check in was a bit confusing as we originally had 2 rooms booked for ourselves & a friend who had to cancel her trip. We had booked a double room, but they checked us into a twin room which sounded like it should have been for our friend instead. I asked to change the room, but the receptionist told me it was not possible as they were fully booked but I could as his colleague tomorrow to change the room, but I thought it wasn't worth it as we had only one more night in the Hotel. The room was clean & pretty basic with a large TV & toiletries, they had a mini bar with a few items available but crucially for us, no Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room which to be is quite a basic thing to have in most Hotels. As we had an early start in the morning, they provided us with a breakfast box which had a couple of ham& cheese sandwiches, a yoghurt, apple & a bottle of water. The Sunday morning, we had breakfast which was self-service & had a reasonable selection of items but only small sausages, scrambled eggs & quiche with potato croquettes for a hot breakfast. They did have a selection of cold meats, cheese, croissants etc. available with various Juices. The Hotel is an average place in the Business area of the city behind the Palace of parliament but it's at least a half hour walk to any entertainment area & no real operations to eat out close to the hotel. The Hotel restaurant closes around 8-30 at night which again is a bit frustrating as we had been out for the day & were looking to get a meal when we returned. Overall impression is average hotel in a poor location as a Tourist & would suggest getting a hotel closer to the Old Town for better options to dine out.

Stayed for two nights as part of an organised tour in August 2022. The hotel is relatively easy to find but doesn’t have a big entrance or anything as it’s just on a road. Check in was fairly quick and we were in room 811 on the eighth floor. The room was baking hot when we opened the door as the air con only comes on with a card in the slot by the door but the air con soon kicked it. The room was a good size, with an amazing view of the Parliament building and the National Cathedral which is still under construction. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. The room had a flat screen tv, desk and chair, small coffee table and a big window with curtains that nearly covered all of it. There was also a wardrobe and safe for valuables as well as a fridge / mini bar. Always good to have some plug sockets by the bed too. The bathroom was a good size, with a shower over the bath which had good water pressure and temperature. They provided some toiletries too. Breakfast had a small but okay selection of eggs (scrambled or boiled one day for example) broccoli and hot dog sausages. Plus bread, cold cheeses and meats, yoghurts, a small amount of fruit etc. Drinks were as you’d expect with a choice of two juices, tea or coffee. The staff were all friendly, polite and the reception staff spoke good English. Our key cards randomly stopped working one day but were quickly reactivated. Overall, I liked the stay here. It’s slightly out of the city but does have a brilliant view and good facilities.
