Mercure Bukhara Old Town Reviews

Comfortable new hotel inside the old town (10-15 minutes walk through authentic Bukhara streets). Breakfast is basic, but everything one needs with great views to the old city. Everyone is very welcoming.

Mercure hotel is such a lovely gem in Bukhara. We’d stayed for 4 nights and everything was amazing. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful with contemporary designs and a touch of traditional charm! We loved the swimming pool and hamman on site and used them every day. We also enjoyed going to Saffron, the restaurant/bar within the hotel, with amazing food, nice ambience, and a spacious terrace overlooking the old town. Even though the hotel is located at the edge of the old town, it’s walkable to the main sights in 15 mins. We absolutely adored this place and highly recommend it to those who are visiting Bukhara!!

I specifically requested a goodview room, and I specifically booked a high-priced room, but the window was so small, like being in prison, and the view outside the window was like this, which was speechless, and the room was odd-shaped at the very edge. I walked around the hotel, and basically all of it was large French windows, which was speechless. Are the good reviews fake?

The hotel is very warm and prepared a birthday cake🎂... I felt cared for in a foreign country... There is delicious pilaf near the hotel, and it is within walking distance from the hotel to the check-in attractions

The room is quite spacious and the facilities are quite new. The hotel atrium is very beautiful. The bed is far from the door, and there is little noise from the corridor. Good review. The location is very good, quite close to the old city of Bukhara. The hotel restaurant tastes quite good. The wifi speed is very fast.

The hotel facilities were incredibly beautiful. It felt like I had my own mansion, not just a chicken coop in a box. At first glance, the standard room was too small. I stayed in a prestige room (written as a suite) and was very satisfied. The swimming pool was just as beautiful as the photo. The massage quality was just average. It was cool, but not impressive, and my fingertips were rough. The view was a city view, but since it was on the first floor, it felt like you could see the street. The hotel staff was very kind and skillful in helping me and solving all my problems when I had trouble taking a taxi on the first day of arrival. They are friendly and well educated. All necessary help was immediately provided and people were reassured. The restaurant staff was very friendly, but even though I was disappointed, they said it was beautiful and asked for my contact information. Still, when he refused, he backed out cleanly. I left a tip, but the cleaning staff didn't take it. On the first day, although it is said to be a problem for the entire city, the electricity was cut off twice and the air conditioner was turned off. On the second day, the air conditioner was turned off in the morning, possibly because it was cut off while we were sleeping at night. Breakfast was delicious.
