The Sebel Busselton

It's very convenient and quite private. Each room has its own private parking space. The parking spaces for even-numbered rooms are basically at the door of the room. If you want to eat, you can drive to the city for 7 minutes. The hotel also has a restaurant. If you want to eat pizza at the hotel, it is recommended to drive to the domino to buy it. The price/performance ratio is not bad in this small town.

Large spacious unit Each bedroom with ample sized en-suite so you can shower without bouncing off the walls Main with kingsized bed Well kitted kitchen with large dining/lounge area Plenty of room for kids (although our daughter is way past that stage) to run around including nice pool area Staff friendly & helpful even working under less than ideal circumstances, having had server room flooded the day before our arrival so computers were down. Even our post midnight check-in was handled with efficiency & a smile. Definitely on our return another day list Plenty of parking available, even over length spaces for car/trailer combinations

We went as a group for a yoga retreat . The rooms were comfortable with ample space in the bathrooms and lounge areas. The mattress was super comfy and linen was clean. There were ample towels and toiletries to make this weekend stress free and homely. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who plans yoga retreats. The yoga studio was well heated, as it was 14C when we visited in November. The grounds are well maintained and there are enough parking spaces to accomodate visitors. Such a gem to find in Yallingup..!!
Abbey Beach Resort

Last time there I gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time however, nothing had changed, it was horrible! Three vertical blinds were missing in the suite, Air conditioner not working properly and no paperwork to show how to fix; No menu for restaurant - had to go down to reception to get them to print one off for me; no towels provided on second day, Spa Bath was unserviceable as pain in bath was flaking; mattress on the bed appeared to have collapsed on one side and made sleeping on it very uncomfortable; Had a meal in our room on the first night (Caesar Salad); this was terrible and the parmasan cheese was cheap tin cheese and hard as a brick. When we checked out we attempted to pay with cash. This they refused stating that the motel was cashless. They then charged me a surcharge for using a card. RIP OFF! They have seen the last of me. Recommend that all should avoid the Abbey Beach Resort. It is very second rate and the service and facilities are shocking.

It was a sudden trip, but the hotel was next to the jetty, so I was able to take a walk in the evening and morning. I always stopped by Busselton while traveling, and it was nice to have a hotel where I could stay comfortably like this. Will come again next time.

amazing location and nice hotel. but the hotel is clearly very stingy on staff. there is not enough and the ones they have are not at all qualified or experienced to provide the service one would expect for the price and a hotel like this. most of the employees are on working holiday visa and it’s very obvious that they only do this job to make some money and not to make a career, so there is a huge lack of service (can’t really blame the staff, since they simply don’t know better and no one teaches them). we also had no wifi in our room and it took them 3 days to come up with the idea to share the wifi egg that they have…. also several times there was a power outage at the hotel. overall, as nice the location and the hotel is, i would not go back, since the service is at best equivalent to a hostel…
