Room was big with a small kitchen. Bathroom pretty small but ok for a night. Breakfast was good with a lot to chose from. No A/C in the room so it got pretty hot during the day and didn’t decrease much at night. Location north of the city but close to the tram to the city center

It was very good, we appreciated having a sponge, dishwashing liquid…

We spent a pleasant weekend at this establishment. The young woman at reception is smiling and friendly unlike the young man also present this morning at reception. The bedding was quality and the room was properly soundproofed.

The location, just outside of the city centre couldn't be much better. It's located about 100 meters from the ring road making it ideal for getting to the Normandy sites. About a 15 minute walk from the town centre and 10 minutes walk to the large supermarket. The staff were friendly and helpful. We asked if the bedside light bulbs could be changed for less powerful ones and they were. The soap dispenser was effectively empty and was replaced. The room was clean and comfortable. The socket under the desk was accessible for laptop and other sockets could be used for phone etc. Equipment was just about adequate. For example there were no tall glasses. only wine glasses and very small tumblers. The wasn't a bottle opener or cork screw, fortunately we have one in the car. The only spoons were coffee spoons. The room was also in need of refurbishment. pictures missing from the walls and fittings in the bathroom were loose. There were no instructions for the microwave. Also the automatic light on the ground floor corridor is almost halfway down the corridor, about 10 meters from the fire door. Why not fit it by the door way?. There is a garden available at the rear. Having said all of that, it was probably the quietest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Would we stay there again - yes.

My son booked 2 rooms 1 superior room and 1 double. Arrived could not get in. Finally someone opened the door, then we found envelopes with keys left on the side. Not a great start. Went up to the room and the room next to us had at least 12 people in shouting and screaming, however onwards in to the room. The smell as we entered was of urine, it stunk, the toilet was leaking, the balcony was disgusting and also stunk of urine. The arguing next door was getting worse, I opened the door and there was 2 men fighting, it was now feeling very unsafe we decided to just leave. It actually looked like a immigration centre , there were cars in the car park with various men in who were clearly selling stuff by the amount of people coming out of the immigration centre to go to them. Not a safe feeling for my family. The photos on the internet have clearly been photo shopped as they don’t give a true reflection of the actual rooms. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Booked another hotel in Caen the Ibis at an extra cost of £350.00 but what the hell, at least we was safe

Basic accommodation, very clean, great location for the work I had, great value for the cost. There was a breakfast option that we did not try, but was told that it was good for the cost. It would be good to be able to provide two keys for the room, if needed.

Basic yet comfortable accommodation on the outskirts of town; we used it as a stop-over for one night. The kitchenette was useful and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we freezer box did not work but otherwise the place was very neat.

Clean, friendly, one-night no-frills stay with excellent breakfast. A good budget option for a stay before ferry or to explore Normandy beaches. Plenty of car parking space. Apartments were functional but clean and the reception staff very friendly.

A hotel well located for visiting Caen and the surrounding beaches. The bedding in the bedroom is good but the sofa bed is much less. The car park is too small compared to the capacity of the hotel (some places cannot be used by a medium-sized car because of an untrimmed hedge of trees)

I would like to point out, above all, that the staff was very pleasant and that everything was reimbursed in full. I had booked this Appart'city apartment in Caen based on the photos, and when I got there, nothing matched. The photos are certainly of one or some of the apartments that have been renovated. I contacted reception to ask if everything was OK, i.e. room with double bed and 2 sofa beds with air conditioning, I was told yes and made it clear that all rooms had air conditioning. This is not the case, be careful! The rooms sold on the various sites (*********, booking, etc.) do not exist, the description is incorrect. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment, but I would like to point out that the staff was very correct.
