The hotel opened in 2004 and has not been renovated for about 20 years!!! The air conditioner switch is a light switch, which I have never seen before! There is no place to charge the bedside table. All the facilities have returned to the feeling of déjà vu 20 years ago overnight!
The hygiene is even worse! The sheets, quilt covers, and sofas are all dirty and stained. I suspect they have never changed them. The next day, I called the housekeeping department to change the quilt cover and get paper towels. When we returned to the hotel at night, they had not changed or replenished it!
This is not Shangri-La, it is obviously a stinky Shangri-La, and I booked a suite!
