Avoid room 268!! There is a unit on the roof! Vibrates through the room constantly! Complained to reception, they told me it was something to do with the pool! On the roof!!! See picture! No sleep for 7 days, wouldn't move us+ vibrates thru the pillows! They don't care.... avoid room 268 and you will be fine

The two wonderful ladies were amazing at there jobs on reception but The barman at the pool bar was the most rude arrogant individual we've ever encountered on all our holidays The room was ok until the draw front fell off the bed broke (middle leg went and I had to replace it with 10 books from the library) smelly of methane every morning in the bathroom sink in bathroom took 10 minutes to drain sunbeds on the balcony full of hair and clumps of hair blowing around on the balcony like tumbleweeds I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all and such a shame as I said before the two reception ladies were wonderful Lifeguard was on her phone more than watching the pool and certainly not enough sunbeds to go round unless you queue from 9.30 until the pool opens at 10

PROS: location, friendly staff, heated pool, premium flats nice & clean, air con working well, good shower, cleaning done every other day with change of towels CONS: no privacy on terraces, only small number of sunlounges around pool & not all very comfortable, bar open on & off We're just back from a week at Villa Florida. We had a great time although we were very much disappointed in the flat we were given: in a corner, on the ground floor, sun morning only & with no privacy at all. Our terrace was in the middle of two other flats where basically you are all sitting together. We are not anti social at all but we enjoy just minding our own business without having to "share" with everyone. Our two neighbour flats were also heavy smokers and this really spoiled the morning coffees on the terrace (we can stand the smell later on but really not 1st thing in the morning). I went to reception and explained that the flat was great but the outdoor was very disappointing and was told to come back two days later as manager was off. Unfortunately still no other flats available two days later...I had emailed hotel twice to kindly ask for an upper/sunny terrace two months prior to our booking and then two weeks but unfortunately this did not happen... I am very much an outdoor person so I just ended up going for early morning walks and then swimming pool to enjoy the sun without the smell of cigarettes... so yes, we were some of the ones who queued to get a sunbed but we had our reasons..lol.. So perhaps something to keep in mind when you are booking if you are like us, wanting to enjoy your terrace with some privacy and not too close to everyone... I just thought I would add this here as no one mentioned this previously and for us it was a big disappointment and quite odd to be so close to our neighbours... Obviously we made the most of our holiday and reminded ourselves that our booking at VF was cheaper than our usual ones so really, you get what you pay for. Apart from the terrace issue (which seems to be on every ground floor flats) the place itself was great, we really enjoyed the long promenades, the proximity of the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. We also rented some electric scooters for a day and loved using them!

The apartments were perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned to a good standard every other day. The pool area was lovely and we had no problems getting sunbeds each day. Great location for the beach, bars and good restaurants. We would definitely return

Can't really fault these apartments. Modern very clean. Air conditioning worked well as did a fan in the bedroom. Well equipped kitchen area and nice settee with tv and 4 english channels. Pool area was lovely and clean. We got a sunbed easily each time we went to the pool. Reception staff very helpful. It was about a 10 to 15 min walk to the main beach and a further 10 min to two even nicer beaches. It was about a 5 min walk to shops and main restaurant area. Although behind the complex and just 2 min away there was a square and one restaurant in that square was Pickled Palm, you have to book but the food was delicious. We would definitely come back to Villa Florida and would recommend it.

We were there for 2 weeks, 8th - 22nd October.This is a well appointed apartment with everything needed in kitchen, large double bed, tv with 4 british stations, very clean towels & bedding changed regular, needs a little updating furniture wise & shower area but everything works well. A bar area near pool with food available, ate there once for breakfast, a small breakfast but enough to keep you happy till lunch time, not enough sunbeds & umbrellas around pool, but we did have sunbeds on a big outdoor area as we had an upstairs apartment. Would go again if we were looking for self-catering

Bed was dreadful Husband had to screw the legs back on it was so wobbly Mattress was very very saggy Glad to get out of there Bathroom not bad clean towels and toilet roll replenished after 2days No cleaning or beds made Could not work the hob as no instructions Small patio but overlooked Grounds are nice Small swimming pool

For what it was we can’t fault it. Don’t come expecting 5 stars or you will be disappointed but if you come expecting a budget hotel in a great location you won’t be disappointed. We had a superior room and the air con was amazing also a fan above the bed in bedroom. Location is amazing for the bars and restaurants. We didn’t need a taxi once and felt super safe. Staff were all pleasant with us including bar man who I read some reviews about but he was actually funny and great with kids from what we saw. Highly recommend for location, cleanliness, and great pool area. Sunbed area locked until 10am and i would recommend waiting at the gate by 10am or you probably won’t get one-this is also in October so can imagine worse in summer.

What a friendly lovely place to stay. Very chilled. Clean tidy apartments no complaints at all. Stayed in apartment 162. Staff very helpful especially Herman on reception, who always went out of his way. Lifeguard and cleaning staff friendly and professional. Thanks for a great holiday. Derek and Judith Manchester

Not what we were expecting. Arrived as a family who had not been together for a long time. This was a significant holiday for memories and unfortunately was tainted with disappointment. Pool bar - closed for a number of days. Pool atmosphere - flat, miserable and silent. Any family fun was frowned upon by many and complained about. One man even purposefully swimming in the middle of the children having fun, jumping and playing with a soft ball, and then going out of his way to complain about the splashing! Very mean spirited. Extremely sour faced female life guard. Full face of makeup and spent the majority of her paid shift on her phone! If splashed she would make a dramatic effort at wiping this away and huffing. I have honestly never witnessed a paid worker want to pay less attention to her paid role! Most certainly not a family friendly complex at this time of year. Unless you have extremely quiet children or are prepared to continue to shush your children continually when they are having fun. Ants in the room. No full length mirror in the 1 bedroom superior apartments . Really hoped to like this complex but sadly I would never return. Please think twice about taking children. I certainly would not.

Superior room better.bar man very soured faced entertainment non excitement music played crap.beds you better get one early gates at pool closed so you have to queue for a bed.hotel nice clean downside bar man rude sour faced entertainment non .if U have children don't go here.

Loved it here, very friendly & helpfull staff, complex was very clean & secure. Plenty of sunbeds was able to get one every day & pool is a good size. Room needed updating but was clean & had all we needed. Plenty of shops, pubs & places to go to all close by. I'd definately go back.

Excellent holiday reception staff was friendly helpful bar man was worried what he might be like seen some bad reviews about him but he was fine rooms was mega and as described cleaned every couple of days will return pool was clean decent size plenty of sun beds balcony with sun beds was a added bonus

Great hotel, lovely pool , clean room and very central. All of the reception staff are amazing, housekeeping work non stop. The barman really isn't to bad , I actually found him quite amusing. Slight issue with brits abroad thinking they can just book up all the sunbeds by putting towels on them , hotel staff dealing with this issue thankfully by putting a 30 minute time limit on where if your bed isn't used in that time the towels will be removed, great idea. Would definitely return. Keep up the good work.
