Super friendly staff and big and comfortable rooms. Very clean. Small complaint is the noise outside given it's close to a busy area. But otherwise great place to stay - highly recommended

Excellent location right on the lake, walkable to all the main attractions. Room was beautiful and very clean, and service was great.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Great location, good breakfast and incredibly helpful staff. Would definitely return. Our stay here really made our holiday.

Our experience at this hotel was six star. We upgraded to a family suite so we could have separate rooms. The art in the hotel is lovely and the service we received was excellent. As was the individually cooked English breakfast. The location right on the lake makes it perfect for strolls in the evening and early morning

Room was very clean. We’ve had a Chinese breakfast which was delicious and a lot. Staff was very friendly and they speak English. Location of the hotel is great; you can reach the sun and moon pagodas/Elephant Trunk Hill/city centre in 15 minutes walk.

Nice hôtel with great service. Location is good as it's near to the lake. The design of the hotel is very unique and they gave the option of Western or Asian breakfast.

The hotel is a jewel in Guilin! Staff is very helpful and can speak english, it is very clean and everything is very near. Thank so much! I highly recommend Aroma Tea house.

Loved my experience here wish I could have stayed longer! The three ladies that helped me were so wonderful and i had their WeChat to message them about anything...breakfast was Chinese and great! The staff were so helpful and just loved the theme of the hotel. Central to everything and would definitely stay again.

Great location. Beautiful hotel. They speak English and this made our trip so much easier. The receptionist booked the Li River Cruise for us and helped us getting taxis and recommended restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has an amazing location. It's in the downtown near to one of the 4 picturesque lakes. You easily can get to the Elephant trunk hill or night market. The hotel has a very beautiful interior. The staff are very polite and helpful. They speak English well. The breakfast was famous local noodles which we also liked. The atmosphere in the hotel is very quite and authentic. Highly recommend it!

Hospitality is great. As soon as you check in, you are having the feeling that they are trying to help you have a good experience. Stuff is speaking English pretty well and explained on the map where we should go and what can be done in Guilin. Hotel itself is old Tea House and owner hobby is collecting some historical pieces and turned it into small museum. Rooms are very clean, each has it is own name and when you open the door, you are having good feeling by the smell. Our room was decorated by old furniture and we had a space next to the window to have our private tea taste. Bathroom was clean and big enough for two people. Errands are chill and calm, not noisy at all. I strongly recommend to stay here.

An old hotel with spacious room and friendly reception. The location was not they convenient, it was far from the town and tourist attractions. There is a park nearby where local people play music and sing in the evening, which was lovely.

We also realized that it is a problem of insufficient service and attention. Our hotel is located in the city center of Guilin. Close to the famous two rivers and four lakes. Behind the hotel is Xicheng Pedestrian Street which also night market street. Walking distance to famous Elephant trunk Hill Park only 13minute. Walking distance to famous twin pagoda only 12minute. Walking distance to famous Ming Dynasty Palace only 15minute. Our hotel is surrounded by attractions. The Yangshuo and Longji Rice Terraces are both counties belonging to Guilin City which is a bit far from the city center because they are country side. Sorry we are not big enough so that we cann't reach to a 5 star hotel, but we trying our best to doing the 5 star service. We do have a lot of hotel activities during your stay, Such as walking trip at night, Ronghu art gallery visiting, tea tasting and so on. All of the receptions can speak English . We were happy to arrange the airport transport and the local tour for you as well. Our hotel was a nice building all of the room was face to the lake. There is a lovely lake view on our 5th floor. We do have the fridge at our lobby on ground floor free to used that. Also the safety box was on ground floor. If you need it free to storage your value things there.
