"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! Firstly the hotel is very conveniently located at the foot of the elephant hill, so despite the rain we could see the elephant hill from the windows of our room without going outside and getting wet. The hotel also very kindly upgraded our room so we had a great time drinking tea and watching the sunrise and sunset from our room. Bed was also very comfortable, and minibar is free which is a huge plus! Hotel breakfast was also delicious and they served local delicacies such as 桂林米粉. We were lucky to spend Christmas morning in the hotel so there was a Santa Claus dressed up and giving away treats to all the hotel guests, really nice touch. Coffee is also good. Lastly, the service staff are fantastic. 小诗 was extremely attentive, enthusiastic and responsive to our requests (borrowing umbrella, nail clippers, refilling the mini bar, housekeeping etc), and the butler team is available 24/7 on WeChat. Overall the experience was wonderful and we would definitely be back to stay with them again!! Highly recommended to couples and families travelling to Guilin"

"We had a great stay. Very central position to get to the tourist spots in Guilin. We could walk to Shan Lake to see the Sun and Moon pagodas and also to Elephant Trunk Park. Zhengyang pedestrian street is just round the corner. We even walked to the quaint East West lane with the centuries old houses converted to shops and also a hidden gem (small opera house with nightly opera and musicals). The Jingjiang Princes' is also reachable from East West Lane. Friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel"

"I had a wonderful stay at Xiangbishan Port House! The service was exceptional, and the room was spotless and very organized. We were especially touched by their thoughtfulness in placing a crib in the room for our baby; it made us very happy and comfortable. The location is outstanding, very close to the Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and Elephant Hill. I highly recommend this hotel for families!”"

"The location is excellent — the back gate leads directly to East-West Alley, making it super convenient for sightseeing and food. The front desk staff were all very warm and helpful. Special thanks to the hotel for helping us book the Li River 4-star cruise — it was a wonderful experience! Since we had to leave early to catch the cruise, the hotel thoughtfully prepared takeaway breakfasts for us. They even provided foot soak buckets in the room, which was a lovely way to relax after a long day of walking. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There's even a robot that delivers food right to your door — super convenient and fun! Guilin’s scenery is absolutely stunning. I truly hope to come back again one day and stay here again！"

"We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was located in a very convenient spot to see the sun and moon pagoda. It also included free breakfast with a very nice selection. We appreciated the fact that there was a 24h spa service with very affordable prices (for an American at least). The hotel has a gym, pool, and a daily waterfall show in the back. One thing to note that if you come in the winter, then the AC will not be cold as I suspect it part of a centralized system. Overall, would stay here again in the future!"

"Location is very good. Very close to Zhengyang street and other street food Lobby not so good impression but rooms are amazing. Only one lift but no issue. We stayed here as a family of four and it was very good that the sink , toilet and shower area are all seperated. Our family could get ready easily"
