Canandaigua Hotels with Bars

The room we stayed in, which overlooked the not-so-scenic parking lot, was large, but charmless. About what you'd expect from an event-oriented hotel. The a/c unit was extremely noisy (unexpectedly, for a new-ish hotel), and wouldn't let us lower the temperature below 68 degrees. I can't imagine how hot the rooms must get in August! The breakfast was delicious. We had used Hilton points for our reservation, and had forgotten to change the default '1' person in the room to '2,' so even though there were two of us in the room, and two of us ate breakfast, we only received the breakfast credit for 1 person. When I called later to complain, because at checkout the desk person said 'yes' when we asked if we'd received the $30 credit (2*$15), I was told that the system processes it by the number of people on the reservation. I wonder, now, if you reserve the room for 2 adults, but only one stays there and eats breakfast, do you get the credit for 2 people? 🤣
