The afternoon before we checked in, a customer service representative confirmed our approximate arrival time. I had booked a twin room for four nights with my daughter. The front desk staff was very responsible and attentive, making our check-in process incredibly smooth. Our room on the 8th floor was very quiet, clean, and tidy, with a view of a section of the city wall and cyclists riding on it. During our four-day stay, the housekeeping staff were very respectful of our privacy; they never disturbed us when we woke up late in the mornings. Every evening when we returned to the hotel, our room was already cleaned, and all amenities were fully restocked. The staff at the New Sanjiangyuan Hotel were incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, making us, visitors from Sichuan, feel the genuine warmth of the Xi'an people. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of. My daughter even said she would visit Xi'an again and would definitely stay at this hotel.
Choosing this hotel for our trip to Huashan was an excellent decision! The service was incredibly attentive. The lady at the front desk was super quick with our check-in and proactively recommended hiking routes and hot spring opening times, all with a gentle and patient demeanor. The room was exceptionally spacious and clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent—we couldn't hear any outside noise. The garden view from the floor-to-ceiling window was incredibly soothing, and the toiletries were comprehensive. The hot spring water was wonderfully warm, and after a hike, a soak there completely relaxed my entire body. Overall, the experience was absolutely fantastic!

The room was very comfortable, and it was super convenient for visiting nearby attractions. It's a short 7-8 minute walk from the subway station and also very close to the Shaanxi History Museum, just two bus stops away. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The entire room was smart, with everything controlled by Xiaodu, which I loved – it was so convenient! Having a robot deliver items was incredibly handy. The front desk service was excellent, always accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!

The buffet breakfast at JW Marriott Hotel Xi'an Gaoxin was a perfect experience! The restaurant, located on the 38th floor, offers expansive views and a refined, comfortable dining atmosphere. The fusion of Western and Chinese dishes was a real highlight. You absolutely must try the local specialty station: the freshly made Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) had a crispy exterior and juicy braised meat, while the Zenggao (steamed glutinous rice cake), Hulu Tang (spicy soup), and Saozi Noodles were all authentic and delicious. You can savor Shaanxi cuisine without even leaving the hotel. The Western pastries were abundant, with croissants and Danish pastries that were soft and sweet, and the Eggs Benedict tasted authentic. The made-to-order noodle station was quick and used quality ingredients. There was a wide variety of fresh fruits, beverages, and desserts. The staff were warm and attentive. Overall, the quality was top-notch, making for a delightful and satisfying breakfast. A must-try during your stay!

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable, right down to the odor-free bathroom with plenty of stable hot water. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, always happy to help with a kind attitude. The surrounding area has convenient options for dining and transportation. I slept really well, and I highly recommend this place!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service!
The hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions — everything is easily accessible within walking distance.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their warm smiles and professionalism made my stay truly pleasant and comfortable.
I was impressed by the clean and spacious room, the comfortable bed, and the hotel’s attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and guest comfort. The free laundry service and unlimited mineral water, tea, and coffee were thoughtful touches that added great value to the stay.
Overall, a great experience with excellent facilities and service. I would definitely choose Yongchang International Hotel again on my next visit to Yulin!

I booked this hotel because it had a stellar 5.0-star rating, and my stay was absolutely fantastic! The experience was top-notch! The location is super convenient, just a few hundred meters from Wuyue Plaza, making it an easy walk. Exploring Yan'an was a breeze. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, and the attention to detail made the stay so comfortable. The value for money is outstanding, and the breakfast was especially rich and varied. I highly recommend trying the 'hollow noodles' that were featured in 'A Bite of China' – many other hotels nearby don't offer this for breakfast, only this one does! Staying at Zhiping Hotel (Qingshui Tianhe Branch) is definitely the way to go.
We enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and wore traditional Tang Dynasty clothing inside the hotel. They also offered buggy services to the restaurant that served breakfast and gave us an emperor’s pass for free admission into Huaqing Palace. The hot bath in the room was very nice. They also offered free desserts at night and stocked our rooms with drinks and fruits every morning. They also offered a freeTang Dynasty photoshoot in the style of the famous Yang Guifei.
The only complaint I have is that I didn’t know how to use the AC. When the AC was set to auto with the snowflake icon, the room temperature went down below the set temperature, and with the sun icon and auto it went above the set temperature. With just the fan set to auto the room could not cool down.

Overall it's good, with complete hardware facilities, about 500 meters away from Line 4, upgraded master bedroom without windows, 1518, children's room to play, can take a bath, plenty of drinking water, half a roujiamo for breakfast is enough to make you full, not enough cups, when cups were available, milk and soy milk were gone, yogurt was in short supply, coffee coupons were given, which can be packaged, and Hanfu coupons, but the car service was not used due to traffic control, there is a seafood dinner on the second floor, which can be stored, overall, it is worthy of the word ”international”, much better than the so-called international hotel in Hanzhong Rongjia where I stayed later.

I had a wonderful stay at The Westin Xi’an. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the famous Great Tang All Day Mall (Everbright City), making it very convenient for sightseeing, dining, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Xi’an.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, and everything was fresh and delicious.
What impressed me most was the outstanding service. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. They were always willing to help and made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out.
Overall, The Westin Xi’an combines a prime location, comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfast, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi’an and would gladly stay here again.

GGuest UserThis hotel is said to be the only one of its kind in Xi'an, and one of only two in Asia. I decided to give it a try for one night, and overall, I had a good experience. First, the environment: it's located in the former People's Mansion, within its own large courtyard, providing a quiet retreat from the bustling city. There's even a fountain downstairs. The hotel's designer is Chinese, but it boasts a French style. It was originally built during the Soviet aid era to host Soviet experts, so it likely incorporates elements from Chinese, French, and Russian cultures. About 90% of the guests are foreigners, possibly French, though I couldn't really tell. The room decor is quite elegant, not modern. The facilities and amenities are good, but some furniture and the floor show obvious signs of wear. The staff are all young and provide excellent, smiling service. Breakfast was just so-so; it seems more geared towards foreigners. For Chinese guests, the variety is quite limited, and it pales in comparison to the breakfasts at InterContinental, Four Seasons, and especially the Ritz-Carlton. But then again, each hotel has its own unique characteristics. All in all, it's a hotel worth staying at!

GGuest UserMy stay this time was excellent. The hotel butler was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, treating guests with exceptional politeness, and answering questions promptly and efficiently. The hotel grounds and courtyard boast beautiful scenery, nestled by the mountains with a comfortable environment and fresh air – truly an ideal choice for a short getaway. The amenities are solid, with a shuttle bus service and direct subway access. All the staff members were enthusiastic and friendly. The hotel also features hot springs, a swimming pool, and various parent-child facilities, catering to different travel needs. My only minor suggestion would be for the Chinese restaurant's dishes to be improved. I recommend optimizing the specialty dishes and Cantonese flavors to further enhance the food quality. Showcasing the highlights of Cantonese cuisine would make it even more perfect. Overall, the comprehensive experience was great, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. I genuinely think it's fantastic and will bring my children next time! 🥰
AAnonymous UserOverall, it's very good. The location is decent, too. Although you need a taxi to get to the main attractions, the hotel is quite new, the rooms are spacious, and the service is excellent. However, for this price point, they could upgrade things like the hairdryer to a Dyson – many upscale hotels offer them as standard now.

ZZouzoutingtingFor the May Day holiday, I wanted to avoid long travel since it would be crowded, so I decided to stay in Xi'an and explore the city's food scene. We chose the Grand Hyatt, and it was a fantastic experience; the hotel's design is incredibly tasteful. It's also conveniently located directly across from MixC World, making dining and transportation a breeze.
However, what truly touched me was the service here. I especially want to commend Judy at the front desk! From the moment we checked in, she was patient and thorough. I mentioned that my child is a bit older and I was concerned about space, and Judy not only thoughtfully noted our request, but when we got to the room, the sofa bed was already neatly made up, and extra blankets and pillows were provided. She even specially arranged a complimentary breakfast for my child. She also thoughtfully registered our car plate for extended use, so we don't have to inform the concierge every time we leave – truly considerate.
This kind of attentive, 'can-do' service really makes parents traveling with children feel incredibly welcome and at ease. All in all, the Grand Hyatt Xi'an not only boasts impressive aesthetics, but more importantly, it has staff like Judy who genuinely prioritize guests' needs. This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Xi'an.
DD F KhavandBeautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning.
Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area.
Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

WWeifengguoguoThis hotel is conveniently located next to the Shaanxi Provincial Government, making it easy to get around. The large parking lot ensures you'll always find a spot, no matter when you return. It's super close to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter. The rooms are comfortable and have a luxurious feel. Even though the hotel has been around for a while, the facilities still feel high quality. The swimming pool is heated and there's also a hot tub with an irregular shape and stone pillars for relaxing in the water. The kids absolutely loved it, though it's not ideal for serious lap swimming due to its shape. Breakfast was also delicious. This was definitely the best hotel I stayed at in Xi'an this trip. I'll certainly be back next time I visit Xi'an, and maybe I'll try the 'Legend' rooms to see if they're even better.

Ttoday0916The Ritz-Carlton in Xi'an was quite different from others I've stayed at. The decor wasn't the luxurious wood I expected, but rather cheap laminate.
The cleanliness was also questionable. The mirror light above the sink hadn't been dusted in ages, and the side cover of the automatic toilet was just leaning helplessly on the trash can. I thought it might have come loose, but it was still in the same state after room service the next day, which was puzzling.
However, the underground parking garage here was excellent – bright, clean, and spacious.
Breakfast was up to the usual Ritz-Carlton standard, and the tomato I had with the fruit on the second day was delicious! During breakfast, there was some sort of 'Jing-ye' or 'Jin-ye' (possibly a manager) 'disciplining' the staff; about four different sets of staff members were reprimanded, seriously disturbing other diners. This shows how poor their public relations and problem-solving skills are.
Check-in efficiency was very low. When I asked if my Marriott Bonvoy nights from a Ctrip booking could be counted, I received a very blunt 'no' because it was a third-party booking, which was unpleasant. At check-out, they got my last name wrong. When I corrected them, the female front desk agent actually said, 'Right!' herself, which left me utterly speechless!
Overall, the service staff's performance at this hotel doesn't live up to the Ritz-Carlton's brand reputation.
