Hotels Near Praça Prata in Canoas

We visited this same hotel last year and wrote a 5 star excellent review. Things changed and not for the better. Our week long stay was not entirely enjoyable. While the hotel retains some of the quality, the quality of service and room standards has gone down noticibly. Specifically, wait staff is not attentive as before and even during non peak dining hours, wait times for the first greeting and offer of a drink were long. The food was well done but taste varied between lunch and dinner, dinner being the better meal selecting the same dish. We asked 3 times for the room to be cleaned while we took a break from work. The room was not cleaned when we returned. After ordering room service, tray pick up took 3 hours. Then, when we called back to insist they remove the tray, the restaurant called our room within 5 minutes to find out where thier coffee and not milk thermos was and insisted on knowing exactly what was in the room still. We felt like inmates rather than guests. The room we were in for a week was nothing like the room on the same floor on our first trip. Cheap artificial wood TV shelves replace beautiful dressers and the room felt like a holiday inn rather than an elegant hotel like our last trip. The highlight of our stay was Rosemarie (we think) in housekeeping. She's a delight and obviously a remanent of the old days. Alberto and Taylor in the dining room were the only waiters who made us feel comfortable. One waitress moved around so quickly, we were holding our glasses to be sure they were not taken. Very nervous way of serving tables. Another waitress took so long to serve us with guests, I had to get up 3 times to find help. The bell captains were also excellent and helped greatly. (Maybe they should be put in charge of the front desk and dining room!) If you need to stay in Porto Alegre, you'll want to stay here but be prepared and if you stayed before as we did, prepare yourself for the changes in room quality and service level. Not sure what happened but it's not the same place anymore.

We are on transit to take an early flight and the location of the hotel is near to the airport that’s why we choose to stay here. Overall is good .

The room is comfortable (Ap. 1008), but they could put some more cabins, we also missed cabinets. WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is honest, but the restaurant and room service are expensive for what they offer. In the bathroom, it would be interesting to put the toilet paper door near the sanitary vase and to put in the box a ”panel or nick” to support shampoos.

When I called and asked about the parking, I was informed that the hotel offered 6 free vacancies in front of the hotel, and I agreed with the open parking next door. But if you need to get out of the car, you will have to get to the parking stay and, when you come back, you will have to take a new ticket, paying another use of the parking, which was not reported by the attendant. In the case I paid 46 reals in parking, not compensating the value of the accommodation, because I had to leave only once. For those who go by car and need to locomote in Porto, the low cost of the hotel ends up, in the package, more expensive than in other hotels in the region.

Chegamos na madrugada. A pessoa que estava na recepção nos deu o melhor quarto do hotel e informou o horário do café da manhã. Todavia, o melhor quarto já é ruim. Colchão duro. Travesseiros baratos e desestruturados. O chão estava sujo!! Todo riscado. Mas o pior foi que a Recepcao informou errado o horário do café da manhã e quando chegamos estava fechado. Reclamamos e a recepcionista do dia disse que o restaurante era terceirizado é que deveríamos NÓS MESMOS tentar que reabrissem o café. Como foi o Hotel que causou o problema, reclamei e então foram pedir ao terceirizado que reabrisse o café. O rapaz do restaurante foi gentil, reabriu e colocou alguns itens na nossa mesa (o buffet já havia sido retirado). Não obstante a gentileza do rapaz, o café é horrível. Suco industrializado doce e cheio de conservantes. Paes e bolos de má qualidade. Só o que estava tragável era o mamão. Enfim, não dá pra tomar café da manhã no hotel.

When you arrived at the hotel and until the next day, the card recording system for accessing apartments was not working, which required you to go to the reception every time you were absent to attend a staff member to accompany you until the The hotel was a very good hotel, and the hotel was a good hotel. The parking system is a separate chapter, the worst EPark service I had the unfortunate opportunity to meet all the world. Whenever you need to leave your car, you would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes at the hotel entrance, the impression is that they would pick up your car in another municipality. Dear service, charged in advance, extremely inefficient and uninquiet with its insatisfaction. But to be fair, I emphasise the cordiality and professionalism of all staff at the reception centre, the very good bed and the cleaning of the very good environments.

It has many rooms with problems mainly in air conditioning, some do not work, others ping inside the room and others do not have control ...

All right.Excellent location, 24-hour manufacturer service, very complete breakfast, several options zero lactose and gluten-free.Restaurant with various dishes and price accordingly.A kids area missing, because it doesn't have. In general, we have a lot of clean and comfortable beds, we have already hosted several times and we will surely return.

Relatively new hotel which is kept in excellent condition. Rooms have lovely views and breakfast is excellent, although 1 day of the 5 we stayed they did struggle a little to keep up with demand. Best part: The pool! Great to finally have a outdoor pool with a view in the city! They do need to have some umbrellas though as it is South facing and the sun is relentless. Especially a concern with young children. Also the floor in the pool area is extremely slippery when you have wet feet. There is also a top quality shopping mall on site with some fabulous food choices. Staff were very good indeed! My only gripe was they ran out of English Breakfast Tea Bags so I had no tea for the last 2 days... but that's my own fault for being English!

Stayed at Intercity Gravitai for a few weeks and the overall service was superb. Food was great, and the staff were all super friendly and accomodating. I will miss their welcoming smiles and attentiveness. Special shout out to Diorge, David, Camila and Dion at icafe, and also to Claudic who cleaned my room everyday and made sure I was comfortable. And Sabrina who faithfully cleaned after us and took out our trash! Love you all! God bless you and God bless Brazil!!! Muito obrigada!
