This place well exceeded our expectations. Communication from the owner was incredible from the time we arrived in Cape Town until we got to the property via WhatsApp. We were welcomed on site by Gibson who was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the property. The fridge was filled with a bunch of welcome drinks that were complimentary and was a nice touch as well as fruit basket and coffee for the morning. There is a fridge down by the pool area shared by the two other units where you can take whatever you need and mark down on the sheet what you took and they will charge you upon checkout. We received one load of complimentary laundry during our stay and paid for a second load prior to leaving. The charge for the second load seemed a little steep at 500 rand or about $28 USD but can't complain given most expenses in South Africa are relatively inexpensive compared to US standards (Ubers, cocktails, dining etc.). We were also upgraded to the penthouse so not going to complain about the cost of laundry. Every day we had housekeeping staff arrive to freshen up the apartment and clean, everyone was incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. They were more than accommodating to our travel schedules and came early the day we checked out to settle up remaining debits and collect the key etc. Would definitely book this property again! Very easy to drive or get an Uber into the city without difficulties. Maybe 5-10 mins. The views here are spectacular. Great to watch the sunset!

Ich kann nur jedem raten einen großen Bogen um dieses Haus und seine Inhaberin zu machen. Wir wollten einen entspannten Urlaub am Pool genießen und haben mit 2 Personen die gesamte Villa für 17 Nächte (400.000,- Rand) gebucht. 2 Tage vor unserer Anreise teilte uns die Hausdame mit, dass der Nachbar zur rechten Seite eine große Erweiterung seines Hauses begonnen hat. Es sollte 1 Tag vor unserer Anreise das Fundament gegossen werden und da das Fundament mindestens 28 Tage trocknen müsste würden wir ungestört die 17 Nächte verbringen können. Das Gegenteil war leider der Fall. Es arbeiteten 6 Tage die Woche ca. 10 Handwerker von 8 - 18 Uhr auf der Baustelle. Es war ein unerträglicher Geräuschpegel (Schleifen, Bohren, Hämmern). Es kamen mehrere Tage Betonmischfahrzeuge die über mehrere Stunden Beton in Schubkarren abluden und jeweils bis zu 4 Stunden der Betonmischer der Fahrzeuge mit ohrenbetäubendem Lärm lief. Die Inhaberin Frau Huth, die in der Schweiz sitzt, bot uns als Kompensation über Ihre Hausdame, falls es mal zu laut sein sollte, einen Spa Aufenthalt und einen Restaurantgutschein an. Auf der Rückseite der Villa wurde schon seit Monaten gebaut und auch dort kamen täglich in der gleichen Zeit ca. 10 Handwerker und stellten den Innenausbau (Schleifen, Bohren, Hämmern) fertig. Wir sind dann nach 7 Tagen, die wir tagsüber nicht im Haus verbracht haben völlig genervt ausgezogen. Jetzt werden wir uns mit Frau Huth vor Gericht streiten müssen, weil sie der Ansicht ist, dass doch alles nicht so schlimm gewesen sei.

Wonderful views from the terrace. The apartment was so well equipped, comfortable and clean. Godwin and the team made us feel most welcome and Doris was the perfect host - her communication and assistance was absolutely first class.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Bay Reflections. We were in the garden apartment for 7 nights in Jan 2024 with our 5.5 month old baby. The staff had gone out of their way to make out arrival smooth, helping us unload the car, setting up a baby cot and proving a small tub for bath time. The kitchen and living space was very generous and whilst not having a oven the air fryer + BBQ meant we were able to cook meals and also order delish food from Uber eats to the apartment. The private garden space was perfect for the baby whilst also meaning we could have dinner outside most nights. With easy access to the pool area and amazing sunsets. The location is perfect and we couldn’t believe how peaceful it was. The bedroom was huge and the bed super comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The manager Doris was excellent to communicate with via email prior to our stay and then WhatsApp whist we were there. And a special mention must go to Joy and Gibson who quietly went about their business keeping the apartment and pool area immaculately clean, washing our clothes and helping with washing up & greeting us with a smile every morning. We will definitely be staying again when next in Cape Town. And highly recommend to anyone with a baby or toddler.

To wake up at Bay Reflections and look out over the unbroken horizon and the soft waves rolling in from the South Atlantic was a dream. The rooms, the pool, the kitchenette and the impressive living room, they all added up to a world class experience. Not to forget the beautiful sunsets.

Great hosting from Doris. She was friendly and professional. She managed our expectations concerning the low shedding by sending updates via mobile. The hotel is within walking distance of Camp Bay Beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Reflections. The accommodations was excellent with lots of attention to details. Very clean and comfortable with fresh fruit and wine and other goodies to spoil us. Swimming pool area and view is fantastic with easy access to drinks and anything needed. Doris and her staff were the best. Everything was provided and the service and hospitality was top notch. The best so far from all our stays in South Africa.
