Hotel La Vega is a family owned hotel in a good location in town of Capri, not far from the main piazza. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular. The food was very good. The pool is also very spacious and nice. Our room was nice, comfortable, clean, and with a nice balcony. We enjoyed our stay incredibly. I would recommend this hotel.

Ho trascorso qualche giorno all'Hotel La Vega a Capri e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza davvero piacevole. Fin da subito si respira un'aria rilassante e familiare, il che ti fa sentire come a casa, ma con la vista spettacolare di Capri! Le stanze e gli spazi comuni erano sempre perfetti e pulitissimi, cosa che ho davvero apprezzato. Lo staff poi sempre gentile, disponibile e con una parola simpatica da scambiare, è stato un vero piacere fare due chiacchiere con loro. A coronare l'esperienza è stato il ristorante dell'hotel, dove ho potuto cenare tutte le sere. I piatti, sempre squisiti e curati nei minimi dettagli, hanno reso ogni cena un momento speciale, da gustare immersi in un'atmosfera magica. Insomma, l'Hotel La Vega è stato una scelta azzeccatissima per il mio soggiorno a Capri. Se cercate un posto dove sentirvi coccolati e godervi il meglio dell'isola, questo è il posto giusto!

nous avons déjeuné en famille dans le restaurant de l'hôtel sous la pergola au bord de la piscine. personnel charmant et intentionné. à l'abri du tumulte des rues avoisinantes. la vue est splendide sur la mer. la cuisine est raffinée. le carpaccio de thon est une tuerie. les prix sont raisonnables malgré qu'on soit à Capri !

Unica nota positiva la piscina vista mare. Per il resto zero professionalità. Chiesto più volte di pulire una griglia dell’aria condizionata (in condizioni pietose) ma nulla. Chiesto più volte un lenzuolo nulla. Personale rumoroso e poco professionale. Tutto lasciato al caso.

Fantastcic location, just a minute away from the hustle on Via Caramelle. Pool area was nice and clean, secluded with great view and breakfast was really rich and generous. Everyone in the staff was so friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Only thing was that the reception area nd rooms could need renovation and update, but apart from that La Vega was really a nice spot on Capri.

Lovely views and nice location. The guy at breakfast was great on the first morning but after that it changed. Great room executive room with 2 bathrooms and beautiful view of the sea. The owners were always sitting around watching everything and no food service by the pool. Heading back again soon but will try elsewhere.

Sebbene un po’ datata la struttura è silenziosa, accogliente ed immersa nel verde, a due passi dal centro di Capri. Personale gentile e disponibile: un grazie in particolare a Patrizia, Giovanna e Annachiara della reception e ai ragazzi del ristorante, sempre tutti pronti a soddisfare qualsiasi nostra esigenza. Cibo ottimo. Unica pecca la pulizia della stanza che veniva rassettata ma non è mai stato pulito il pavimento che era quindi pieno di capelli/peli.

Location is perfect. The hotel is clean, beautiful, neat, and perfectly located. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing from both the room and the breakfast area. I don't know the gentleman's name, but he makes the BEST cappuccino in the island. He waited on us for breakfast and dinner every night. The front dest young lady was delightful, sweet, and helpful. After she took us to our room and showed us the view, she took off to bring us complimentary drinks, and I just sat on the bed and cried because I was overwhelmed with the amazing view and just felt so lucky to be there. Beautiful hotel and beautiful island.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the various booking sites. went there on honeymoon and it seemed like a good deal compared to some other properties in Capri, we didn’t end up staying a single night. If the men working at the front desk don’t rub you the wrong way immediately, just wait until you go to your room. Rooms don’t appear to have been updated since 1997, leaks in bathroom (water runs down wall after flushing), cracked toilet, exposed wiring from the dangling light fixture on ceiling, stained comforter, shower curtain resting at bottom of the bathtub/shower stained yellow. We checked out 2 hours after checking in and when I discussed the laundry list of issues with the 2 gentleman up front they requested I not leave any negative reviews online and I told them I wouldn’t if they refunded me. They agreed to this , and then never refunded and lied to Expedia/Amex about offering a refund stating they don’t offer refunds (so here we are) If you know it going in then so be it. But you’re getting a 1 or 2 star experience purely based on the hotel being in a good location with a nice view, other than that you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting good value.
