Hotels Near La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días in Cartagena

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Cartagena with a courtyard inside that looks like a botanical garden. When I booked the hotel, I was a little worried after reading some not entirely positive reviews, but I do not regret staying here for three nights, especially since other hotels have more negative reviews. And  here is my conclusion. Great hotel with air conditioner in the room, swimming pool and rooftop which i really like. The staff is very friendly, some of them speak english, especially Juan David. This young guy speaks good english, he is very helpful and erudite. The other guys also left good impressions: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar The breakfast here is great, you feel like you are in a cafe, they will prepare food for you to order. The dining room is located on the fifth floor with a view of the city.  I read that some guests had complaints about the noise from the street. Guys, if you want to live in a quiet place, then you need to book a hotel on the outskirts of the city, but here in the very center and on the busiest street, do not expect that there will be silence. My room was inside  with a window to the courtyard, and there was no noise from the street. I give them five stars, and I really hope that the management will encourage their employees who try their best. Я читал что некоторые постояльцы имели жалобы на шум с улицы.Ребята, если вы хотите жить в тихом месте то вам нужно буковать отель на окраине города, но здесь в самом центре и на самой оживлённой улице не ожижайте что будет тишина.Моя комната была внутри с окном во внутренний двор, и не было слышно никакого шума с улицы.Я ставлю им пять звёзд, и конечно я рекомендую этот отель ----- Un maravilloso hotel en el corazón de Cartagena con un patio interior que parece un jardín botánico.  Cuando reservé el hotel, estaba un poco preocupado después de leer algunas críticas no del todo positivas, pero no me arrepiento de quedarme aquí por tres noches, especialmente porque otros hoteles tienen críticas más negativas. The hotel one of the better hotels in bocagrande. The restaurant and rooftop is very nice. Very welcoming lobby. Service is quite good as well. One thing to note is you cannot bring back guess unless you have physical identification doesn't matter if they are family or friends. Staff is mostly respectful and pleasant. The laundry service was great also. Booked a junior rather nice room with great view. Special thank you to Wallis she was amazing helped me even on her day off

La atención del jefe de cocina fue excelente, lo mismo la atención de todos los empleados de este hotel, magnífico todo, hotel 10/10 sin duda volveria muchas veces más. La limpieza sin duda es lo que hace único, La playa queda al frente y su vista es genial.

If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would. To be honest, a generally excellent hotel. Impeccable service, delicious food, clean and tidy facilities, comfortable rooms and in a very nice area. The only possible improvement is WiFi coverage, but that's the smallest detail.

A great congrats to the Interconti in Cartagena ! My whole 22 people family spent 10 days in the hotel ! Everyone was amazing (specially the bar, restaurant and Pool ) they were lovely ! The chef came few times to ask my mum (who is unable to eat many things due to her health ) and discussed with her her food and always came out with something amazing ! Erika in the restaurant was friendly and always had suggestions on the menu ! Beside Ricardo ! The reception team needs to build some genuine smile, some of them treat guest like they are doing them a favour ! My room was massive and always impecable ! Location amazing ! Taxis, right at the door and shopping centre in the same buiding ! We r definitely coming back ! Thank you for such great holidays

Room is upgraded with balcony for additional pay at check-in counter. Good experience with late check out at 1pm.

I was upgraded to this property from the OZ luxury hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by this action and enjoyed the larger room. I’m not sure what there is to complain about for this hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The check-in process was easy and when we asked for recommendations for restaurants they were happy to help. Breakfast each morning was different Columbian cuisine which I enjoy when traveling. It was fresh with a good variety of choices. If the local cuisine is not your liking they make eggs to order which is a nice added touch. I loved being in the Bocagrande area it isn’t as busy as the walled city it is more of a beach town vibe. Uber to the other attractions ranged from $3-6. I can say I fell in love with this property and Cartagena and look forward to coming back soon.

Location: City Center (Old Town Cartagena) is 15 min- 25 min away depending on traffic. If you don't care about seeing old town, then this may be ok. The hotel is located at La Boquilla next to a bad neighborhood, so be aware of people harassing you at the beach at all times, and keep an eye on your belongings. When you leave the hotel always walk to the right towards the city, don't go left or you may find yourself in a very bad location really fast. This is a special note to women traveling to Colombia. Hotel: Clean, food is ok not great, staff was friendly except for the people at the front desk. They seemed to be always busy, and behind their daily duties, so they will rush you, and not give you proper attention, they need at least another person at the front desk at peak hours. Pool is ok, service at the pool was good. They will ask you to provide a pass to get a towel, so don't loose the pass or the towel, you may get charged for it. (Not a fancy systems) Reminds me of hotels in Colombia back in the 80's when towels were a luxury. Beach: Biggest disappointment of the trip, water is dark, and the sand is gray/brown. You cannot see your feet with a foot of water on them. Note that as soon as you come out of the hotel towards the Beach there is a security guard from the Hotel at the door, part of his job is to advised you to watch your belongings, and not to buy anything from beach vendors. This gives you an idea of this beach. Forget about bringing your own umbrella or beach chair, there are vendors that have taken possession of the beach by renting umbrellas and chairs, if you don't rent from them, you will be left out to use a small portion of the beach very close to the water. My advised is to pay the $5 dollars and rent from them. Beach vendor will harass you all day long. Avoid buying food and always ask prices up front before ordering drinks or anything else. There are horror stories of people paying $25 for a Coke. I don't recommend this place for families, or for single women visiting the city, much better options in Bocagrande or Old town. The place is ok for single guys or business. Hope this helps,
