Hotels Near River View Park - Gran Aventure Park in Cartagena

This is, hands down, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is beautiful. The location is perfect as there are several excellent restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away. The pool area is serene and the hotel’s restaurant has delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The spa is incredible, and the room’s A/C is powerful, keeping us nice and cool on the most humid of days here. Despite all of these features, what stands out the most is the staff. They are super attentive, always going out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Everyone introduces themselves with a smile and are all willing to help you with anything you need. Any requests you make to the front desk are handled very quickly, far exceeding our expectations. I also highly suggest booking a room that comes with the butler service, and would like to give Diego a special thank you. He set up an unbelievable boat trip to one of the nearby islands for my wife and I, making sure we had a bilingual guide (Manuel, also an awesome dude) who made sure we were taken care of the entire day, never had a translation issue, and saw some beautiful places. Diego also ensured we had a personal driver to get us to and from the dock without any hassle. If you are looking to be treated like royalty in paradise, then this is absolutely the place to stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 10/10 will definitely be back here again.

Family trip to Cartegena with our 2 early 20's daughters. Fantastic location and quality. Beds super comfortable and rooms were spacious. After touring city we spent afternoons on roof top pool/bar. Hotel arranged a day trip to a sister hotel on Isla Tierra Bomba. Great facility. Entire staff was extremely helpful and service oriented.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Cartagena with a courtyard inside that looks like a botanical garden. When I booked the hotel, I was a little worried after reading some not entirely positive reviews, but I do not regret staying here for three nights, especially since other hotels have more negative reviews. And  here is my conclusion. Great hotel with air conditioner in the room, swimming pool and rooftop which i really like. The staff is very friendly, some of them speak english, especially Juan David. This young guy speaks good english, he is very helpful and erudite. The other guys also left good impressions: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar The breakfast here is great, you feel like you are in a cafe, they will prepare food for you to order. The dining room is located on the fifth floor with a view of the city.  I read that some guests had complaints about the noise from the street. Guys, if you want to live in a quiet place, then you need to book a hotel on the outskirts of the city, but here in the very center and on the busiest street, do not expect that there will be silence. My room was inside  with a window to the courtyard, and there was no noise from the street. I give them five stars, and I really hope that the management will encourage their employees who try their best. The hotel is strategically located along the coastline, 15 minutes' walk away from the old town of the World Heritage Site. Booked a sea view room and gave it to a high floor when I checked in. The view is invincible. The hotel has three swimming pools. It is very pleasant to have a glass of wine while enjoying the scenery at sunset. The hotel has a rich breakfast, and there are many guests eating after 10 o'clock. Those who like to sleep in do not have to worry about missing breakfast time. The bathroom is very large, and the shower series are from Colombia's local organic brand, with a pleasant fragrance. Ctrip's price is very favorable, much cheaper than booking. I stayed for three nights and it was very pleasant! highly recommended!

This is an amazing hotel in Barrio crespo. Close to beaches and with awesome views. Pool on roof. Attentive staff and the fish ceviche was off the chain Very new and very clean. Highly recommended. Stay here, not Boca Grande

La atención del jefe de cocina fue excelente, lo mismo la atención de todos los empleados de este hotel, magnífico todo, hotel 10/10 sin duda volveria muchas veces más. La limpieza sin duda es lo que hace único, La playa queda al frente y su vista es genial.

Room is upgraded with balcony for additional pay at check-in counter. Good experience with late check out at 1pm.

I was upgraded to this property from the OZ luxury hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by this action and enjoyed the larger room. I’m not sure what there is to complain about for this hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The check-in process was easy and when we asked for recommendations for restaurants they were happy to help. Breakfast each morning was different Columbian cuisine which I enjoy when traveling. It was fresh with a good variety of choices. If the local cuisine is not your liking they make eggs to order which is a nice added touch. I loved being in the Bocagrande area it isn’t as busy as the walled city it is more of a beach town vibe. Uber to the other attractions ranged from $3-6. I can say I fell in love with this property and Cartagena and look forward to coming back soon.

The old 5 star hotel that stayed when I first came to CARTAGENA 10 years ago, was very impressed, especially for the courtyard layout, the swimming pool and the restaurant on the side. It arrived at around 10:00 am. It has been 28 hours flight and transfer from Beijing. It is really tired and I don’t want to wait until 3 pm (on the Intercontinental, I’ve received $50 for early check-in). The plan to stay; the front desk said that the room was ready to live, and agreed to advance the breakfast on the last day to the day, it is very rare, thank you! The front desk, restaurant and various services are very thoughtful, although the room looks old, still feel things Great value!

Rooms are a little tight but over all a great Hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful especially one of the managers by the name of Mauricio. The hotel and pool are very well kept and it is well organized. Room service has great food and coffee. Will definitely be back.
