I am currently at this hotel. Checked in last night at 10 PM. Went to sleep around midnight, when my wife noted that the sheets felt funny. She pulled off the covers, found stains on the sheet, fingernails, and hair (photos below). Called the front desk. Obviously, housekeeping, was done for the day. She told us we were free to come down to get clean sheets. The night desk manager was helpful, gave us a stack of sheets, but was unsure which size she was giving us. Unfortunately, it took two more trips to get proper size sheets, but there was no mattress pad. Finally got back to bed at 1:30 AM. I was walking through our room in my bare feet. My feet felt funny, so I looked, and they were covered in dirt and grime (photos below). I spoke with the front desk manager this morning. She told me that she already told housekeeping to come to our room. I asked her if any adjustment can be made for my inconvenience. She answered, “it depends on how you made the reservation.” I told her that I made the reservation through the website as I am a HHonors Gold member. She told me that, since I made a government rate reservation, it could not have been made on the Hilton‘s website, and I was lying. I was not considered an HHonors member, and that I would not receive points for this reservation, nor would she add any complementary points for my inconvenience. Additionally, since I already had a low rate, she would not adjust it. When I told her, this was not true, as I’ve booked similar rates many times before, I was rudely told, “Don’t tell me that. I’ve been here a long time.“ She gave me a corporate email address to contact management. Then, we walked over to the complimentary “breakfast.” Asked for juice. Breakfast attendant walked away. When she came back, another guest asked for juice. The attendant walked into a back room, and from the back room yelled out, “It’s on backorder.“. There was a milk dispenser with an “out of order” sign on it. There were 2 waffle irons, but an empty waffle batter carafe (see photos). Another guest asked for waffle batter, and again, the attendant walked away. They did have a premade egg McMuffin type sandwich, which was basically inedible. My wife ate instant oatmeal, but they had no spoons available, so she did her best to eat it with a fork.. We went back to our room. Housekeeping has not yet been in the room, despite the front desk manager telling us, they were told to come right up. We found housekeeping in the hallway and spoke with her. She had not been told about our issue – – the front desk manager had lied to us. The housekeeper came in and changed the sheets. It is Saturday morning, and I’m stuck in this rathole for two more days, as we’ve called six other hotels that are sold out. The other guest, that we met at breakfast, stated that they had bugs in their bed, and also could not find another available local hotel. Disgusting and dirty hotel, with rude staff

I love working with the staff at Baymont (especially Nick) as they go above and beyond to help our employees. When we had over 15+ rooms, they served breakfast earlier just so our employees could grab breakfast before work. They have updated their rooms with new beds and TV’s which is a game changer for any hotel and the mattresses are very comfortable. Nick always helps me identify any discrepancies such as our employees leaving a room empty without checking out to prevent us from paying for an empty room. I have YET to find another hotel staff this helpful and engaged as this is extremely valuable when multiple rooms are booked and another set of eyes and ears on site is key! Hats off to Nick on being great at what you do!

That hotel is a dump and I believe I should get most of my money back! I paid a hotel rate for a motel shack. I was there for a tournament and had no where else to go. I pointed out my dissatisfaction soon as I arrived to the manager. We wanted to freshen up but the towels and wash clothes were muddy filthy, he said he was getting me some from a pack, they were nastier with long hair all over them, that pack he got them from must have been from a pack of poop! I had to purchase towels and wash clothes from the store. When I went to bed, there were two sheets on the bed, I called for a blanket and never got it, went to sleep cold. The room appearance is horrible, with dirt and white smears all over the walls, the carpet is filthy, busted up, torn and ripped throughout the venue. The so called complimentary breakfast is a diabetic disaster with unpleasant sweets and rotten fruit. The air and heating unit ran the entire time, even though it said Auto which caused an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The walls are so thin you can hear the activity in the restroom above. My recommendation to anyone searching for a hotel in the area and stumbles on this one, KEEP LOOKING!!! They definitely do not take safety COVID protocols and measures. The clerk when I checked in said they don’t wear masks down there and GA COVID case numbers are high. None of the staff wear masks or greet you. When I checked out, the guy at the desk said he couldn’t print out my receipt, I was super done! Additionally, my cousin stayed in the room next to me and her television was showing everything green and distorted on it, she had to move to another room. The manager offered me another room as well but it was just as bad. My key card shut down.

I specifically looked for a Comfort Inn because I had a wonderful experience at the one I stayed in going down to Florida. This one however didn’t compare as well. First I’ll say, it was very clean and rooms were nice. That’s where the satisfaction ended. I wasn’t happy with location and there weren’t many options for delivery. Front desk gave me a list of restaurants that would deliver. The pizza place I called wasn’t close by so they charged a lot for the delivery. The food was so-so and the order was wrong. The breakfast area was not kept stocked. Pineapple juice was mostly watered down. There were a little bit of cold eggs and I waited 20 minutes for them to bring out more. There were biscuits but they didn’t bring out gravy until I was getting ready to leave. No bacon or sausage. Front desk was not friendly at all.

Is this an older property? Yes. But it is clean, comfortable and was great for our weekend stay. It’s right off the main drag in Cartersville so there are many places to eat and shop right out the front door. Anything you might want or need is very close by. It’s actually a block off the main road so it was very quiet as well as convenient. The room was a good size, bed was comfy and shower had good water pressure. Microwave and fridge in room. Our coffeemaker did not heat water properly, but you can get free coffee in the lobby. The only negative thing I will say is that I wish they would add breakfast to the cost of the room like most hotels in this class instead of making you pay extra for it. It’s just not worth an extra $12 pp. You do get some credit if you are a Hilton member, but there is Waffle House, IHOP and a few other options just a stones throw away that are much better to choose from. The staff was good. I enjoyed getting texts from Antonio and Precious to make sure everything was good. Knowing they were easily reached if something were to go awry was nice. All in all a good stay!

Our home recd lightning damage on 17th,taking out our A/C unit,so we needed a hotel asap and close to our home because of contractors needing to get in. Our Quality Inn was a find at $80 inc taxes. We paid for 2 nights on checking in. The room looked great,redone,great bed,good linens, up graded floors.Good tv,sofa,chair,lamps. We were exhausted and the room was cool on a 95 degree day. We slept great, started dressing after showering,walking around on the solid vinyl and ceramic floors. Our socks were filthy. We told the front desk we needed someone to mop and clean our floors. A maid came in swept ,dust mopped,and left.We had to make runs to our home all day. Picked up dinner and went back to our room. No linens had been left in our room,and my husband grabbed a white hand towel, dampened it,and swiped it across our floor. It was black,not just grey, it was black. We were told,because of C-19,the maids couldn't come in,and we'd have to come to the desk for linens,and she knew zilch about wet mopping being done. We talked to the manager early this morning, was assured,floors would be cleaned. They had 70% of this day,that we were not here. It had to cost megabucks,to redo these rooms,and refurnish them,only to undo the greatness,with totally incompetent housekeepers. The front desk says the maid was new,bull. Who trained her?Manager needs training also. You do not tell a customer something,and not follow up on it. This room would be great,if it was clean. PS: they have only coffee,no breakfast,we weren't told that on check in,just like the do it yourself linen Pick up. Amazing that the maids can clean a toilet,sink,tubshower,and can't clean 2 of the easiest floors on the market,solid vinyl and ceramic. The pool was busy,hopefully parents checked the water first. The TV reception is snowy and sparkles,but the sound is good.
