Hotels Near Ingresso Museo Archeologico di Stabiae "Libero D'Orsi" in Castellammare di Stabia

We had a very good experience with this hotel. Situated across the beach, near to the bus station and close to the railway station, the hotel has big, spacious rooms, with all the ammenities needed. The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices, and mostly, the breakfast room was a rooftop with such an amazing view over the sea and vezuvius. Everything was perfect

Stayed here for a week in September during covid. We had our temperature checked on arrival and hotel staff are ensuring guests where their masks in public areas. Hand sanitiser available at reception. Staff are nice and helpful. Hotel is in a great location on the beach and has the most amazing views and great location to see the sunset at night! Pool is a good size and clean, plenty of sunloungers. Our room had a nice view over the prom out to mount foite. Clean towels everyday aswell as 1 bottle of water per guest. Lots of restaurants within a short walking distance. The beach to the right side is better than the beach to the left. At some parts the beach is unkept (but obviously not the hotels fault). Hotel is in a great location for visiting other parts of Italy. Naples 60 minutes on the train Sorrento 20 minutes on the train Reception also helped us with a day trip of a mini cruise to visit Postanio and Amalfi coast. 2 trains stations are in walking distance of the hotel and the trains are very cheap (the train station where the cable cart is for mount foite is the one you want for direct trains). My only negative would be that I did not see anyone clean down any sunloungers between guest use. Although this normally would not be an issue I feel during covid the sunloungers should be cleaned or there be a self facility to clean your lounger before/ after use to minimise risk. We also did seem to have small ants daily in our shower cubicle (room 301) but the bathroom itself was clean. Overall I would recommend staying here, especially if you would like to see more of Italy on your visit as it is a great location!

It is always nice to come back and this already says it all. Breathtaking panorama top services, super recommended for families with children but also for a pleasant relaxing escape. Wellness center and swimming pools at the top. Kindness and professionalism everywhere. What about super recommended. The only flaw this year is having noticed a little maintenance on the outside of the building. For the rest gardens etc. At the top as always.

Excellent 3 night stay at the beautiful Villa Zagare, wonderful gardens and pool. Clean, spacious and comfortable beds without outstanding bar, restaurant and staff. New Chef Gianluca presented delicious dinners with 5 star service from Vincenzo who ensured we enjoyed every meal. The reception staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best. The driver drove us all over the area and was waiting for us at points of pick up. We've been on holiday from NZ in Italy for 3 months and this was our best hotel experience.

Having received a gift cofanette for a night in a couple, I booked in this building not without fear of a box and being treated badly because not paying. The hotel has been a very friendly and warm welcome to the reception, and offered coffee and water, and a smiling and advice. They provided us all details, including bus tickets, to reach the neighborhood of Amalfi, giving us the opportunity to leave the car in the parking lot. We returned to the afternoon and, check-in, we took the owner of our room which, although not very new, was very clean and furnished in a simple, functional and tasteful way; comfortable beds, TV and air conditioning. We had dinner in their restaurant with super portions and flavor explosions with simple but well-cut meals and at competitive prices. The next morning we had a nice breakfast after we were invited to stay in the pool and enjoy all the services that are connected to it. The pool area is large with paraplus and beds and, I must say, we spent a morning in total relaxation. We then had a light meal based on sword fish and salad and when we were swallowing the account and going away we were once again invited to stay a little more in the pool space to avoid making our trip in the warmer hour more The Rabbit's added value is the two fantastic and unfatitable sisters who, together with their mother and father, are the owners of the structure and who treat the guest with gentleness and sympathy at 360°. I advise you and I will certainly return to you.

If we could give this 6 stars we would! Where to start…. We were stranded at our previous hotel due to road closures, where our previous hotel couldn’t help, Simona arranged a driver to collect us for a long and tricky journey to baccofurore at a reasonable cost for the journey! On arrival we were greeted by name and checked in seamlessly. The room is amazing full of all the mod cons and more than you would expect. Clean, comfortable, amazing shower/spa and still, somehow managing to retain Rustic charm. Rita for the wine tour was amazing and passionate and knowledgeable. Great addition to our short stay. The food….. well, it’s outstanding from the service and introduction of what we are eating and drinking to the food itself, by far our best experience on the amalfi coast. The views were fabulous but baccofurore didn’t ride on this wave they went above and beyond in every aspect. One warning! The walk to fjord furore is brutal and nearly broke us but proud we did it!! Give yourself a good 4 hours!

Excelente ubicación y bello lugar. Mi habitación, espaciosa y muy confortable, tenía además una preciosa vista al mar, con un balcón con mesa y sillas, que disfruté varias tardes. Las instalaciones son muy buenas y la atención de lo mejor. Ricardo fué muy atento. Me acompañó y ayudó con varios trámites, como así también, sus encantadoras tias, me brindaron afectuosa asistencia. Unas vacaciones para atesorar.

Avoid at all costs. Caution to those looking to book, there is a hotel panorama and most likely the positive reviews are meant for the hotel, not residence. First, I was told the card couldn’t be processed after successful online booking and that I needed to email my full credit information as the balance remainder on the card was insufficient, despite myself knowing this is not the case. I double checked the card I used and also asked for the last digits of the card. The card was fine, when I told them this they then changed the story to say the card number was just incomplete and again to email the card information. I refused to email and they threatened to cancel the reservation. During July, there were very few available hotels at this point just a few days to check in. So against my better judgement I provided a rarely used card in case of them being a scam and called with the information. Upon arrival at the very old building, they asked for a security deposit of 100 euros. This seems unheard of here in Italy and was discussed also in a very recent review as well. I provided the same card again written on an old fashioned carbon copy paper. When I got the keys to go upstairs they told me there are also stairs as many guests are scared of the elevator. I didn’t know what to say but now that seemed warranted. When I entered the room to lock it, I found the deadbolt to be jammed so that there was no way to internally lock the door. The building is shared use with local apartments. When I let the front desk know the deadbolt did not lock (I am young female alone) they told me first that none of the doors had internal locks. I asked a guest staying there as this seemed simply a lie, which they confirmed their door did lock internally as is a bare minimum feature at hotels to have a deadbolt lock. I note the keys to get in are a physical key rather than electronic. I requested they call maintenance to fix the door, they told me they had already left but they will come in the morning to fix the door. This means they lied that all doors do not lock as they agreed it needed to be fixed. I then informed them I would not be accepting the room and would be leaving. They tried to delay me so much with the same circular talk of they will fix the door in the morning (despite previously saying all doors do not lock internally), they also say they have security at front desk (but there are multiple entrances and no security between local residential floors and guest floors), and later that Italy requires all doors to be non panic and not internally locking (this is false). They will not refund or cancel the multiple night stay and now dispute with credit card company is in progress. Whatever you do, avoid this place. The room was also dirty and couldn’t have been cheaper put together despite the cost of the room.

This hotel was a little gem !! It’s family run with excellent additional staff. Everyone so helpful and polite and professional. Clean, beach in front of hotel, restaurant pappone ( part of hotel) is great too especially fish dishes which is majority of options plus excellent wine list. Antonio is a great waiter and chefs are amazing. Alfonso and Alessandro are brothers who own the business and are great chaps. Let me watch football on the tv in lounge as Alfonso had sky sports 👌,ladies in laundry are awesome too, washed my shorts for me for a small fee and the cleaners are first class also. The hotel is a well oiled machine imo and boat trips go to Capri, Positano/Amalfi from the marina in front of the hotel. Buses go to Sorrento, St. Agatha and more. All in all a great place to go !!
