We really enjoyed our time at the Windborne B&B. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. Marc made great breakfasts, a treat each morning. The grounds are manicured that was a pleasure to view from our room. We visited Castlegar and also found some great hikes in the area to explore. And pet friendly as well. All in all, a great experience.

Excellent run B&B, Very clean rooms and super comfy beds. Breakfast was superb and Host was fun to chat with about travels and Castlegar area. Well worth it. There are 2 family dogs that are very friendly. Situated near a river. Castlegar Sculpture walk is another unique part of the town.

The host was exceptional, the breakfast was delicious, and the accommodations were superb. Marc was very attentive and made sure we had a wonderful stay. We will definetely be back!!! Beautiful bed and breakfast!!!

From the moment we arrived we were treated as "family". The Windborne truly lives up to its ratings with a super quiet location, stunning gardens, amazing room and wonderful hosts. Marc explained where everything was and then was always avaliable to help with advice on where to eat and so on. One special mention - the breakfast eggs.. Still haven't managed to get them as good as yours yet!. We'd stay again anytime in the area. Wonderful night in a wonderful house with a wonderful host

Thank you Marc and Mirja for a wonderful weekend. My wife and I had never been to Castlegar or the surrounding area and your home was a perfect "home base" (pun intended). We managed, golf, mountain biking and sightseeing to Castlegar and Nelson during our two day stay. It was wonderful to be able to come back to our beautiful and comfortable room. Everything thing was clean and comfortable. Marc's breakfast were a treat. The landscaping around the B&B should not be missed. Treat yourself to at least an hour stroll around the grounds - everything was selected, planted and impeccably maintained by Marc.

From the moment we drive on the property we we’re welcomed by our hosts. A beautiful location, quiet, clean and an incredibly delicious breakfast! We will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.

Sadly we had only planned a one night stay but we'd have been very happy to stay longer. We greatly appreciated the warm welcome that Mark showed us after a very long day's drive and the lovely showers and comfortable beds didn't hurt either! We enjoyed a delicious freshly-cooked breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning artworks all around the house. Highly recommended.

Our host Mark greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us the facilities. The grounds were immaculate and Mark gave us a quick horticultural lesson of the grounds. We stayed in the king suite with spa bath and large shower. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck and had an awesome sleep.

Our stay was so amazing that when we were done our trip we came back to stay again! The property is right on the water and filled with all kinds of flowers and trees. Marc and Mirja were fantastic hosts and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with the best homemade pancakes I have ever eaten. If we are ever in Castlegar again we will definitely be back! Highly recommend this place! 5 stars for sure
