Hotels near Evolution Diving in Cebu

We arrived at the hotel with two bikes and baggage driven by rooms. No reception, delivery of keys in the hand and driven to our room. It was good that the room was comfortable, clean and very spacious, and in the bathroom c was the shower heating, which was not recently. It was also a diving center but no one was uncomfortable to offer something to us, my husband and I went to dive, and we asked for a boat to rent, but we waited for nothing for someone to get us. The restaurant is so, but no one wants to take a scooter to cross the streets in the middle of the bars. The positive note was the unique beach in all that landfill to be called beach, but the coral barrier destroyed by the boats, and the fruit cocktails and smoothies to enjoy on the beach. This island was a great disappointment, given the distance and time to reach us, you could have gone to some other island to end in beauty with nature and dives. It takes a lot more than 3 hours to get out of Cebu with a private taxi driver, risking life every meter. To get to the island you are forced to go on boat that if you get that on the way as our life risks (I have two nautical cards I know what I say) my husband's little nn you're gonna ruin a leg by going on boat because after you put us on foot you're gonna be And it was thrown down and thrown down to the knee, and all this we paid for; and in three nights we made only two, and less bad, because the boat, if it is in few, decided not to take you from the other side. The hotel is one of the earlier hotels on the island. There are fewer people here, which is very suitable for people who like quiet. The hotel has its own beach, bar and diving centre, with boat rides from Cebu to the hotel beach. The facilities in the room are old, but they are large and have a balcony. The food in the hotel restaurant tastes good. It is also a good choice if you don't want to go after tired diving. The water outside the beach is shallow and the visibility is good. Snorkeling with children is a good location, but be careful of sea urchins.

Due to a last minute decision, to sqeeze in a few nights at Malapascua Island, the better hotels like Tepanee were already booked out. Pro: + top location at the cliffs at western end of Bounty Beach, just a few minutes walk away from the restaurants + friendly and helpful staff + spacious Deluxe Suite w/ ocean view, overlooking the entire Bounty Beach while sitting on the balcony + fair room rates + arrangement of private car transfer from/to Cebu Airport on request was reliable and at a very reasonable rate +/- simple but ok breakfast Underwhelming: - very sp****ly furnitured ”Deluxe” suite - not bedside lamps and tables, not bedside light switch, no amenities other than a little shampoo bag and 2 t-paper rolls, kind of careless - bathroom wasn't clean at arrival, crooked bathroom door hinge. Bathroom door cold only be closed by application of force - during low tide very shallow, not swimmable beach Not the fault of the owner is a misleading foto, posted by a fellow traveller, that shows a swimming pool, which looks very nice. The only problem is, that it is from whatever Blue Corals Hotels elsewhere on the planet. But defo not from Blue Corals Malapascua, which neither has a pool, nor pretends to have one. I got trapped by this foto, too. Bottom line: Hotel ok for 3-5 nights, when the price is right, but not sure if I would book again.

Que buena elección fue quedarnos alojados en Slam's Garden Resort y bucear con ellos con Oceans Passions. Están los dos en el mismo sitio. El alojamiento es de 10, limpísimo, con piscina y se come genial. Y el centro de buceo es de 10 también. Equipos en perfecto estado, muy buenos instructores y guías de buceo, muy atentos a todo. Recomiendo totalmente qued**** alojados y bucear con ellos. Toda la gente que trabaja en ambos sitios es genial, y además tienen perros bien cuidados 🙂 Muchas gracias por todo Santiago! Un placer!

Love the location by the beach. The first day we checked in we had dinner here and the food was very good. Unfortunately for the free breakfast there’s only 3 choices. Not a bit of fruits and the orange juice they serve is from can/box. I wasn’t that bothered by that, I understand that maybe in an island is still hard to get certain stuff. There’s plenty of mango/banana around and coconut that’s pretty cheap and being a tropical island it might look better probably serving that for breakfast. The room is ok. Bed is pretty comfortable. Clean towels and clean room. Staff is really nice, welcoming and helpful. However I could be happy over all with everything if not for the very very very loud music they are playing outside by the beach. You cannot even talk to’ each other out there or take a phone call. Let’s not mention if you’re trying to read a book or take a nap 😅. I didn’t say anything since other people were on the beach so I thought they will like it. Anyway at some point I was alone and I finally asked if they could lower the volume, and finally have a few moments of peace. What I would love to suggest to the management is to start playing the music maybe around sunset when people are ready for a drink pre dinner. But before that I guess everyone will rather hear the sound of the waves of the ocean, or of you really want to play music maybe go for something softer and at a decent volume. Just saying.

Amihan Beach Cabanas in Cebu City is a tropical paradise. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and we had a cabana with a mini pool facing the beach, where we enjoyed afternoon cocktails. The staff at Amihan Beach Cabanas is outstanding. They made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived, always ready to help and offer a warm welcome. The food here is a real treat. The restaurant serves up fantastic dishes, from fresh seafood to local specialties. We loved every meal. Our cabana had a mini pool facing the beach, and it was pure luxury. We spent our afternoons sipping cocktails by the pool, soaking in the stunning beach view. In summary, Amihan Beach Cabanas is a perfect getaway with great staff, delicious food, and cabanas that provide a slice of paradise. We had an incredible time, and this place is a must-visit for those seeking a relaxing beach experience.

The resort offers comfortable but small rooms back off the beach and right adjacent to the market where there are some decent meals to be had. There are a range of room options, including the queen bed option I had. This has a shower and reasonable sized bathroom, and a balcony. I had chosen the breakfast included option and this was fine. They even managed to cook it the morning after the typhoon. How ever, that was about all they managed after that even, despite their being little actual damage to the resort. Power had gone and rather than provide candles, nothing was given to allow us to see in rooms after dark. Neither were there any instructions given about what might need to be done during the storm. People moved in and left almost immediately because of the lack of action. The owner did refund 70% of the room rate for the storm-affected nights but it could so easily have been avoided with more thought. When one considers there were places better set up to cope for a fraction more, it made this resort one of the less attractive options. Solar panels had been installed by the time I left but were not working so it may get better.

Hotel location is particularly good, just at the pier! Get off the boat! It is convenient to go anywhere, similar to the middle position. However, the infrastructure is relatively poor, and it is a bit dirty. Although it is cleaned every day, it is clean, but it is really hard, it is always dirty. It is inevitable to take some sand off the shoes. No mineral water~ the most important In order to save money, I didn't have an air-conditioned room. It was really hot and sad. At night, the front desk was a bit like a bar. It was a bit noisy, but it was okay, not too late, and you know that diving is too tired and you will sleep very quickly.

It's a bit far to walk to Main Beach. The hostel itself is located in a high location, so you have to walk a lot of stairs to get in once ㅠ Instead, the sea view is good :) The room condition is like a modern traditional house. It was good. However, ants are abundant in each room ㅠㅠ No food in the room, walls. Beds. Tables. Toilet. Balcony...It was an ant heaven
